There was a little confusion when checking in but that was quickly taken care. Once in our room the lady at the front desk called my room and asked if we wanted a bigger room I said sure. Would deff stay here again.

"Not Luxurious, But Just Fine for A One-Night Stay" Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 25, 2013

I had read some other reviews indicating the hotel was a bit rundown, but our room was just fine. It's an older hotel, but the room was in good condition, it was reasonably quiet, and we slept fine. It was perfectly located for our activity the next morning, so it suited our needs quite well. The towels were old and should have been traded out (one had brown stains), but the bed was reasonably comfortable, the room was larger than expected, and the front desk clerk was pleasant and professional. The value was excellent for the rate we paid, and I will definitely stay there again if/when in the area.

Everything was great except we never could get the wireless internet to work and there was a stale smoke smell even though it was a non-smoking room.... Small inconveniences only, it won't change our decision to use this line of hotels again. The beds are extremely comfortable, room was very clean, personnel was very friendly and helpful. Great hotel. Room was very neat/clean and smelled nice. The room had a nice desk, refrigerator, microwave even an ironing board. Also a hairdryer and a coffeemaker. The listing had false information. I booked a smoking room but the hotel is entirely non-smoking. The listing showed the check out time as noon but once I arrived I found it was 11am. The room smelled like smoke but I couldn't smoke unless I went outside.

The hotel had some wear and tear but there were signs that basic issues are being addressed. The room was very clean and neat. Everything was in its place. They have good, well trained staff. The bed was very comfortable. The room temperature was perfect on a hot day - I did not have to touch the thermostat. Good low-priced hotel.

The person that checked us in was very hospitable and asked us (since we are senior citizens) if we preferred a ground floor room and of course we did since there is no elevator. The halls,rooms and kitchen area are very clean.

When we first arrived our room was really hot! The A/C seem to not have been working properly! However I went downstairs and they gave me another room right away! As we were leaving the first room the maintainace guy was walking into the room with the damage a/c! The hotel is clean and really nice! Will use it again in my next trip in December!

I was surprised at the exceptional room quality. Great color scheme, which I did not think would be all that important made the stay very welcoming. Good design inside the room itself.

The staff was very polite and courteous as well as informative. The room was spacious and clean. The corridors were wide and well lit. The pool area was clean and well maintained. The accommodations were up to date and in good repair. I needed a clean and predictable hotel near downtown Shelbyville, IN and this fit the bill. A very nice Quality Inn. Inspired me for sure. Very clean, and fresh looking. Plus the management was very professional and helpful. I would stay again in a heartbeat, and I travel alot.

We stayed 5 days. Hotel got renovated about 1 year ago. Looks good, but hallway smells like chemicals. Room had 2 queen beds, 1 easy chair, 1 desk with chair, free internet, TV, bathroom, microwave and fridge. Maid service came everyday. Breakfast bar was well stocked and clean.
