The Hotel is very poor quality but the service is worst. Staff is rude and harassing plus the owner is very arrogant and disrespectful. I travel every week and stay in different hotels and this was the worst ecperience. Do not stay here.

I was there with friends to party, therefore we didn't care how the hotel looked. The hotel is bare minimum and outdated but it served its purpose for us. The location is AWESOME! The beach is across the street and walking distance to all the restaurants and bars. If you want luxury, quiet or celebrating a very important event in your life I don't recommend this hotel. This hotel is for party ppl that don't care for extra amenities.

This place is bad. Booked 3 nights, left after 1 night. Hotels.com refunded 2 nights for me, Thank You! Hotel refused to cancel and refund room. There is NO parking anywhere, there is no thermostat in the room. Room was hot. Thin walls, Thin doors, old and run down. Up all night because the hallway has wood floors. You hear Everything echo in the hall. This room is worth 20 bucks a night. Will NEVER considered this place again.

Will never stay here again. Very gross outdated place. Location is perfect but other than that it is a joke. The "continental breakfast" was croissants in a plastic baggy. Place also smelt terrible and the maids used stolen shopping carts as their cleaning carts

You enter the lobby it literally smells like pot. Entered my room there were hair on the bed and floor. Had to lay all my clothes to sleep. This the crazy part went in the restroom there were no towels and toilet tissue was finished. Wanted to leave but that weekend it was hard to find rooms. Anyway would not recommend it at all don't waste ur money

The room seriously needs some renovating. The bathroom and carpet were old and the was no way to adjust the air conditioning. The location is good, but there's no parking, which makes it extremely inconvenient. There is a public parking a couple of blocks away, but this is a necessary added cost. In conclusion, I wouldn't stay at this hotel again. It's too expensive for the condition it is in.

The front desk representative who was also the manager, was extremely rude and unprofessional. The room was very small, old and outdated but the worse of it all, was the lack of cleanliness. The carpet was dirty and ripped on the corners. The baseboards throughout the room were dirty. The vents looked like they had not been cleaned in years. I found hair on the pillows and the sheets did not look or smell fresh.

The hotel is situated in a really nice location with the beaches and the nightlife of South Beach all within walking distance. However the condition of the room was not very good. The kitchen was not clean. No iron in the room. The wifi was poor and often not available

Loud, loud hall ways. Unorganized check in and long wait. Loud workers outside room. Check out was terrible and people were very rude. Also they keep a hard copy of EVERYONEs credit card. Shady at best, oh and the hotel is actually a thrifty car rental office. Place is overpriced and awful! Worth 39.00 a night during busy season, Max! Do not pay their outrages rates !

I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. When I first arrived the appearance of the hotel looked bad. The continental breakfast consisted of just bread and COLD coffee. The room was dirty. The overall stay was unpleasant you can hear people closing their door and talking from outside of your room which made it discomforting to get rest.

Noisy noisy noisy. Television didn't work. Phone didn't work. Shower hardly worked. Very minimal amenities, in fact lacking all amenities. The maid staff was very sweet. Great location and the seedy car rental guys made me feel like I was in Havana. Minus the cat calling. Honestly, I would stay here again:)

The Geneva Hotel rooms was by far the worst I have ever seen. Hotels.com showed and explained it (by amenities) to be more than it definitely was. Hotels.com is now known to me as misleading and falsely put when it comes to describing and showing pictures of hotel rooms. This hotel stay would of been better had the truth been told from hotels.com

While I stayed at this hotel the power went out for 12 hours and they would deny a refund. Word on the street is that this happens all the time and the owner and manager are no where to be found. Other than that great location!

When I pulled up to hotel already had a bad feeling due to front of hotel.The old lady at check in I believe her name was Norma was rude, gave me room 101 when I asked for a different room she assured me that it was one of the best rooms in hotel. When we went in room floor was dirty, the couch had a hole the chair had stains all on the seat the kitchen was nasty everything from sink to stove to refrigerator things were rusty. The bathroom was no better. My reservation was for 2 days no way was I going to stay there for entire time we only stayed the one because we were tired and hungry and all the hotels we went to that day was booked. I have a video of the room if hotels.com is interested. The next day when I went to check out again the old lady was at front desk and she was so rude again telling me that I can't get a refund even though I had already spoken to hotels.com . This was one of the worst experience and worst hotel I have ever had to stay at. Please always read reviews no matter how desperate you are for a hotel room. I stayed in Fort Lauderdale the second day and it was awesome the hotel we stayed at was a Best Western and it was a block from the beach.

One receptionist was old and useless. The desk area is very outdated and they wait for reservations to be faxed to them before guests can check in. Check in took over half an hour. We were given a "suite" which included 2 queen beds and an extremely outdated and unusable kitchen. The bathroom had broken and missing tiles. Hairs were left on the bed and pillows. Walls are paper thin and partiers can be heard clearly all hours of the night. There is a scooter rental place in the lobby where employees and party goers hang out side of all day. If you are looking for a decent stay, this is not the place for you.

Really friendly cleaning lady & front desk guy , however our bath tub clogged twice in 4 days during our stay . For what they charge I think some needed upgrades can be made. we felt bad the lady had to come and unclog the tub. She was extremely helpful . We had a great room reserved at another nearby hotel. Our flight was cancelled due to a pending snowstorm, and we were unable to arrive on the day we planned-- so we cancelled the first reservation. When we finally arrived in Miami--we needed a room for one night. This was the only place available in South Beach on Valentine's Day. It cost considerably more than the previous room we had reserved. The carpet looked dirty. The bedding looked shabby-- like Goodwill hand me downs. The internet was vey slow in the room, so I gave up on it-- but it did work faster sitting in the lobby. There was no hair dryer in the room, and it took them an hour to bring one. At least the in room safe worked. In the lobby at checkout, it seems like several other customers had disputes with the front desk-- although the people who worked there were courtesy to us.

The room was clean comfortable for the night. We actually stayed one night prior to our cruise and it wasn't the end of the world. It's a cool location in the middle of shopping, bars and places to eat not to mention the beach is only a block away. Now if your looking for somewhere to just sleep off your hanger, change clothes and really not trying to walk around a hotel all day then this is your spot. But if you want plush floors, room service, and the feel of yes can't wait to get to me room...Then don't come here!......It's for shot stays only... I paid $98 with expedia coupon.

continental breakfast: in the hotel next to Geneva, in Parisian (Geneva has nothing, not even check in/check out desk) coffee (not decafenate), cream, tea, cake, orange juice (not natural); no milk, no...; microwave with the plate broken, everything was dirty, and if you want a spoon and the workes dont want to look for it they give you a fork... Rooms: they are clean, and the housekeeper its very nice and available; but if you dont smoke, dont stay in this hotel, because throught the ventilation system you can wake up with cigarettes smell everywhere in your room. no elevators... late check out: if you ask someone at the evening or night you want to do late check out, they will let you FOR FREE until 12pm (the check out time its at 11am), if you do this and check out at 12pm, you will be charged your deposit, because the girl who is in the morning says any day is holiday (as you dont know when is holiday in miami and she thinks in internet its imposible to find that info) or she might say the hotel its full and you cant stay more than 11am (here you cant also go to hotel.com and try to make a reservation for 8 rooms, just to check if really the hotel its full)... so if you want to deal with this kind of people, and spend very bad times during your vacations, you can stay in this hotel...

The location of the hotel was the only good thing about my decision to live in the Geneva. Rest was a wash out. Starting from the check in to check out, the hotel room condition, the bed, pillow, uncontrollable air-conditioning and bathroom (shower etc). It was a total disaster, i cant believe how you can survive as a hotel with this presentation. Morning breakfast, is a total joke and no parking ( it cost an extra $30 to park your car per day, don't forget to add it to your/day rate. Personally i have never lived in a disastrous hotel like this and i hope i never will.

Make no mistake - this is a gutter. If you must stay here please make sure you arrive during the daytime when it looks best or you're going to be scared for your life, and I'm saying this as a large male and long time Miami ex-resident. At night the hotel looks like a near-abandoned community housing project for distressed families. The lobby is so sparse and badly maintained and shady-looking dudes are just inexplicably lingering there. Luckily our Geneva booking somehow got moved to their Parisian property next door as both are managed by the same bell desk. The room itself looks like it has been untouched since 1974 -- strange paint, ugly furniture, bed cloths straight from the thrift shop. The TV displays one channel. The continental breakfast was a delicious pastry and coffee -- that's it. The entire experience screams poverty and apathy, only made worse by the rudest woman I've ever met working a front desk. I didn't even voice a complaint or have any requests and she was just beaming with "I've had a rough job here and want everyone to know it". The comedy and punchline is that the lobby shares a rental space with a LAMBORGHINI luxury rental company, so you have these ballers in there booking these lavish cars while the hotel is a total bust. Do yourself a favor and avoid this property until they can spare a few hundred bucks for paint and decor. It was gross gross gross! You can do better.

The only positive thing about this hotel that was close to the beach. When I saw my room, I was shocked. Small room, dirty bathroom. The towels were like sandpaper, it was sratching.The beds were even worse, the string was poking my ribs, it was creaking. I had to get new cards for my room every single time I left the hotel, because I couldn't get in the room. There is NO way I would stay in this hotel any more.

When we got there the man at the front desk told us we booked a room with a SHARED bathroom on the floor... That was unacceptable so we had no choice but to pay to "upgrade" the room. The beds were so hard and uncomfortable, it was like you were sleeping on a floor. Most of the outlets in the room don't work, I had to charge my phone in the bathroom. The amount of noise all night long is ridiculous, doors constantly slamming, people yelling. Pay the money to sleep somewhere nicer, seriously.

Absolutely the bigest mistake for choosing this hotel which looked cheaper but not worth a penny. The whole time we were wondering is there any kind of a city or a state requirements before you open a hotel. Please DO NOT make thr same mistake as us and find some other hotel even if you have to pay few more dollars.

When I got there the person at the desk was very smart at the mouth. Told me that my children couldn't stay in the room with me because I didn't pay for them and they have to sit in the lobby.

the standard of this hotel is very terrible....and the staff are the same .the room is so dirty and the bathroom are worse ...the carpet just want to throw out...I was so afraid of staying there that I might come down with something... the bed is so uncomfortable and the television only have four stations...the lock on the is falling of ...the guess on my floor make noise all night
