"nice and quiet"
The room looked as though it had been recently refurbished and painted. We were really pleased considering it is not a 4 star hotel, The windows have been double glazed. The penny diner out front served up some real good hot breakfast which is part of the hotel.
Good place to stay if you are on a budget. Great breakfast deal.
Check in was at the diner next door. A really nice hot breakfast was served at the diner for free. We enjoyed our stay. There wan no one in the building if we had a need.
"Above average, breakfast is worth it."
We arrived late but it was easy once we checked in at the 50's style diner next door. TV was outdated and picture was bad. Room was clean, location to diner next door which offered a comp'd breakfast was great. A/C rattled a bit much but it was tolerable. For the price, breakfast, and location to shopping it is well worth it.
"Not too bad but needs work"
Room was nice and breakfast made it fun. They need to get better room cleaning people. If you do a 2 night stay tell them to clean the room or they will not do it.
"Good, Shame about the noise"
Quite a good motel overall. Breakfast at Penny's was really good. However: considering the Oak Tree website makes much of (lack of) Noise in the rooms, there is too much noise. The aircon is far too loud, happily Cheyenne was not too hot that night and we could switch it off. The vending machines outside our room were INCREDIBLY loud. To finish positively, […] the Staff were really friendly. Read more

"Do not stay here!"
This was a stay over on our trip from Yellowstone to Denver, so we got there late (10 p.m.) The hotel registration is in the diner next door. What used to be the lobby has been converted to a worker lounge. Very odd. They gave us the keys to the wrong room. When we went in the room, the bed was unmade, etc. We called down to the registration, and […] they told us the room we were supposed to be in. Of course, the keys didn't work for that room, so I had to go down stairs and across the parking lot to the registration desk to get the right ones. Then, as I was getting ready for bed, I saw that the BLANKETS WERE DIRTY!!!!! There were white crusty spots on both of them!!!!!! If it hadn't been so late, we would have gone to a different hotel. When I called down to the registration and told them the problem, they sent someone up with new blankets. We were in a hurry in the morning, so we didn't eat the breakfast. Read more

"Oak Tree in Cheyenne, wyoming"
The location was good, quiet. We stayed two nights and our rooms were not freshened up between the two days. Quality was only average.
"Oak Tree Inn Cheyenne"
great value, lots of stores and places to eat nearby plus the free breakfast was outstanding
"The hotel in Cheyenne was a nice place to stay"
It was very nice, clean, pet friendly, gave us breakfast coupons that we used at the diner across from the hotel, worth every penny. Will stay again
We had room that was handicap ready. The Shower Stand kept falling out and the cable hose leaks.
"Oak Tree Hotel"
Convenient location for food and shopping, but if you're a light sleeper bring some earplugs! The airport, used by Cheyenne and the Airforce base, is next door. The runways are right next door but enough to wake me.
"Oak Tree Inn"
The Breakfast was great. A little difficult to find the in (in the dinner)
"good for the price"
This is not a fancy hotel at all, but it is comfortable, clean, and quiet considering the price. The diner next door, which serves as the registration desk, had a very good buffalo burger for dinner and a very good free breakfast...much better than the typical continental breakfast.

"Great Value"
The hotel is conveniently located in Cheyenne, rooms are clean and amenities are as expected. Quiet location and room. Breakfast was excellent, and well beyond normal continental ones since it was in the adjoining diner. We are two 23 year olds males taking a cross country road trip and though this was a bit pricier than our other stays, the difference […] was well worth it. Read more

"Oak Tree Inn, Cheyenne, WY"
On the north side of town. Within walking distance to a shopping mall, pharmacy, etc. Diner next door (where registration was handled) was wonderful.
"The Oak Tree Inn -Convenient Shopping"
Upon arrival I was a bit surprised at the exterior of the inn. I had the appearance of a second rate motel. That ended upon entering the building. The place are quite quaint. The attendants were more than helpful and polite. The room was clean however, there is a time to clean or replace the recliner in the room. I covered it with a towel out of paranoia […] more than concern. After that, the room was order free, clean, and was quite comfortable. The king-size bed was great and there's plenty of hot water for the shower. The coffee maker was super. It's some of the best coffee I've had on the road. (The desk clerk at the check-in desk was nice enough to let me borrow a mug from the restaurant so I could further enjoy the coffee.) The inn was quiet throughout the night letting me get some much needed rest. In the morning, I took advantage of the no-cost breakfast and it took me back years to one of my favorite restaurants in upstate New York. I ordered a ham special and wasn't disappointed at all. The waitress (and I feel a bit ashamed that I didn't get her name) was super. She kept the coffee cup filled with more outstanding coffee, the food promptly delivered along with the jams and jellies. She ensured that I was satisfied with the meal before leaving me to eat. Though the meal was included in the stay-over, I still left a $5.00 tip because the restaurant was absolutely clean and the host and waitress were just super. I cannot say enough about my stay verses my expectations upon arrival. The team really knocks itself out for the traveler. Will I stay there again? Absolutely! Also, I would like to complement Hotels.com for putting this establishment on the list. If it weren't for Hotels.com, I would not have known to look for the Oak Tree Inn. Thanks Hotels.com Read more
"Cheyanne qick stop"

"Oak Tree Inn - a good basic hotel."
We enjoyed our stay at Oak Tree Inn. Nothing flash - basic facilities but a great breakfast (included) in the character filled diner - on site. Really good when you're in transit.
As a stopover location, the hotel was very conveniently located. The managements response to the non working hairdryer was excellent, and replacement appeared within few minutes. Although the check-in at the diner was unusual, the breakfast offering there was very good, and quite different to other hotels we stayed in. We liked it.
poor quality motel, stayed 2 nights room was not cleaned meant to have breakfast included with vouchers but always ended up paying a lot extra
"oak tree cheyenne"
