I was participating on a Photography Event in Center City. I needed a clean, quite place to stay afterwards and overnight. The Hampton Inn met all of my expectations. The Hotel can use some fixing up though. It is beginning to show its age.

Great location near PHL airport. Got picked up quickly by the shuttle when i landed. Close to one chain restaurant - just a walk across the parking lot. Room was wonderful and hotel quiet. I encourage you to reserve a shuttle if returning to the airport. They do not have sing ups but when i tried to take the 5:15am shuttle it was full and i had to wait 30 minutes.

We stayed the weekend of 9/21 for the Eagles game. Great hotel worth very friendly staff. The room was clean each day and week stocked with what we needed. Keith at the front desk was very helpful with the train times and how to get around the city. We will certainly be back to philly for more games and will stay at the Hampton Inn. The location is great with short travel to the air port and the stadium complex. There is a train station right across the street from the hotel.

Other than the fire alarm going off at 5 am the first night we were there and the sound coming from the pipes, it went well. It was explained to us another guest was smoking and that caused the alarm to go off, and they comped us for the night so it worked out. Over all not too bad, takes about 20 to get downtown from here as it's right next to the airport.

Only complaint was a clicking type noise that would happen ever so often that I couldn't locate but sounded to come from the bathroom vent area. After a while it became back round noise so no problem. Comfy beds.

The room was a nice 3 star room. What made the stay enjoyable was the thoughtfulness if the housekeeping staff. The soaps, towels etc were not just thrown in but placed nicely as if it was a boutique. Bed was comfy. Staff was friendly. Little concerned about the extra door guard to prevent break ins. The hotel worked well as an in-trip layover between flights. There was a little concern when the shuttle pickup at the airport was slower than expected. Will probably stay again if the trip is repeated.

Stayed overnight to visit family and friends. There was a lot of construction going on at that time so, could not sleep in because of noise. At least they were trying to make the hotel better and upgraded. Excellent staff and would stay there again if passing through.

The hotel met all of our expectations. Of course, car traffic on a holiday weekend was to be expected but it was nice to pull into a free parking space. The airport which could have been a worry about noise was not even heard. The breakfast buffet was very pleasing with new and fresh food offered. The help there were most friendly and efficient and kept clean and hospitable.

We stayed at the hotel after a late delayed flight. The night front desk staff were not very friendly, but the day staff were great. The room wasn't very clean , and there were several maintenance issues ( thermostat, broken furnishings) , but it was fine for a one night stay by the airport. Breakfast was good.

Love this hotel! We always stay here before and after a trip in which we have to fly. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. They also do a "guest of the day" which is probably randomized on how they select it, but makes you feel like a million bucks when you get it! It was a great surprise. Our vehicle is never bothered when we come back from flying while staying in their designated lot. It may be a little pricey, but worth it!

Enjoyed the stay except when I was ready to leave. I was searching for something that fell between the mattress and headboard when I noticed the mattress was heavily stain with a black stain about 3' long right where my head was resting...yuk. Told house keeping the mattress should be thrown out of room 507.

Hands down the nicest hotel staff we have ever encountered on a trip. When they saw we had children with us they sent a small bag a chocolates up to our room for our kids. We were greeted with a smile every morning and when we needed directions or recommendations for travel or dinining they went out of their way to help.

We just needed to spend a day in Philadelphia. This hotel was easy to find from the airport. It has a Ruby Tuesday restaurant right next door -- great dinner. We stayed one night, took care of our appointment in the city and left the next day.

My family and I were on the first part of our Pennsylvania vacation. After a long car ride we wanted nothing more than to grab dinner and get some sleep. There are no restaurants other than "Ruby Tuesday" near this hotel..except at the airport which can be accessed with a boarding pass only. The room had 2 double size beds with extremely lumpy mattresses, my grandson was going to sleep on the floor. The pillows were like mush. The following day, Sunday, we arrived for the famous 'breakfast' at 9:35 am (buffet time was 6 - 10 am) only to find it entirely empty..no eggs, no sausage, nothing to make waffles with, not even milk for cereal. When I approached the front desk, the gentlemen there looked taken aback and told me someone was working on it. There were at least 35 guests who arrived after us to no food. There was only 1 person working in the area trying to maintain everything. The tables were not cleaned either (although I expect the guests should clean up after themselves...you know who you are..spilling syrup on the table then just sticking a napkin to it)..yuk! We selected this hotel based on this rating....guess my family has much higher expectations than most people for cleanliness, customer service and value for our dollar. I will never stay at a Hampton Inn ever again...I would rather go camping and I HATE CAMPING!

Breakfast was different and good each morning, initially the room was clean, however by our third day the maid basically only made up the bed , and gave us fresh towels. They didn't empty the water from the ice bucket, nor did they pick up some trash that was left on the tables. I just thought they could've done a little better with cleaning the room.

We had a nice stay and an easy ride to the airport the next morning. It was also very east to get a shuttle back to the hotel when we arrived home, which I have found difficult in other hotels. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. I would definitely use this hotel again.

No complaints about this property. First time staying here as usually other properties in the same area are cheaper. But I will definitely consider this property again. They do not "Nickel and Dime" their customers. Free parking, free wi-fi, free breakfast (with hot foods) and an airport departure monitor in the lobby (which must be nice for fliers, which I am not.) Minor comment about the "depth" of the toilet bowl. A little "shallow" for guys!! All in all a good experience.

Had 2 issues during stay, one was not addressed until a second request was submitted, the other issue was addressed almost immediately. If we had booked through the hotel the cost of our stay would have been refunded. Because it was booked through a third party that was not possible, the compensation that we actually received ammounted to $10.00 in a gift card. In the future for that reason I will hesitate to book through Expedia or any other third party.

The location is super convenient, with an airport shuttle offering door-to-door service from the airport to the hotel to the nearest train station (even though all are within walking distance). The staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall the room was nice, comfortable and clean. By far my best experience with a Hampton Inn!
