While under remodeling they sort of tried to make everything nice. The pool was very cold however did not stop my 3 year old from wanting to be in it. When we complained about the temp of the pool and the unruly children there was nothing done about it. The 3rd shift guy is so cool. We hang out with him till like 3 in te morning. Haha the rooms aren't bad the beds are kinda small for ring double. The price is the best around its being remodeled and is kept up well. One thing. My buddy asked for a cot and they didn't say anything about how much it costs. Very friendly front desk. Told us where we could get supplies. Breakfast was cold but a great selection of both hot and cold food. The only problem is they charged for the wireless internet service. This is the first time in all of our travels that a hotel charged us for using the internet. They did not inform you of this until you get the bill.

The hotel really could use an update on the carpets and the bath areas. Other than that, our stay was wonderful! The staff are so nice. Alex the evening manager went out of his way to help us. I needed a glass of milk late in the evening. Instead of directing my husband out of the hotel to a nearby store, he went into their kitchens and got me some […] milk, free of charge. They also were helpful in finding a nice place for dinner, and when our air conditioner acted up, Rick came in and helped us to get is right. The breakfast was a usual for Hampton Inns, but the staff person for the kitchen was wonderful and helpful. She seemed to know the name of all the regular customers too. They also offer a snack/dessert time from 5pm to 9pm; which when you come in late after driving 10 or more hours, it was a blessing not to have to fend out of the machines. Thanks for a great stay. It would have been nice if housekeeping would have cleaned the room after my first night there (I had booked one night through hotels.com, then booked a second night directly through Hampton Inn when my plans changed slightly). The room was clean when I got there, but no one cleaned it before my 2nd night (I was gone for many hours in the afternoon). […] The elevator was very slow. My key card stopped working after the first night - they said that this was because I had to sign for the 2nd night, since it was two different confirmations. I enjoyed the three nigh stay there. They had snacks in the lobby during the afternoon hours and their free breakfast was an added bonus. The workout room was small and would probably be my only complaint.

All staff was wonderful and very accommodating. The rooms were very nice and clean. The only issue we had was it was too hot through-out the hotel, we had to turn on the air conditioning and it's Jan. Otherwise I would definitely stay again.

The inn is just off Interstate 86, easy to find with a couple of turns. It's no doubt used by many skiers who visit the slopes around Holiday Valley, but we were there to visit relatives. Actually, they are from Ithaca and we're from Cleveland, so we picked the Hampton as a convenient place to meet halfway for a weekend. Our adjoining rooms were nice, […] comfortable, and the front desk staff courteous. We used a table in the main lobby to play a board game. We thought the free breakfast in the lobby was one of the best of that type we've had anywhere--many good choices. The only negative for us was the lack of a whirlpool/spa in the pool area. The pool water itself was warm, but the room temp was much cooler so you froze when you got out of the water! Room temp should have been much higher for swimmers' comfort. Also, a youth basketball team was there at the same time, so there was a lot of noise in the halls until about 10 p.m., and some noisy horseplay in the pool. We were please day 1 and day 2, however on day 3, the morning of our departure there was no hot water. We found out later that this affected the whole hotel. It would have been nice for something to be posted in the breakfast bar. We had also discovered after we had left that we had left something in the room. When we contacted the hotel they told us […] they would check and gt back to us. They did not get back to us and we had to phone again. They had not found the item but they did not make us feel confident that they had many any attempt to locate what we considered was a sentimental item. Based on the lack of follow-up it spoiled what would otherwise been a good stay. I am not sure we would return to that hotel. Read more

We booked our February Family day weekend last minute so didn't have a big choice of hotels (that's Presidents day holiday in the US). Even though it was over a half hour from Holday Valley we were really happy with our stay.
