Right off exit, located near lots of shoppin g & restaurant options, very close to downtown. Fast check in, room was very spacious, got it for great rate. Will definitely be back my next visit to Cleveland.

I was pushed into driving 24 miles to stay away from home for an out of town track meet I was officiating. Everything was booked close to the meet. I did nt arrive until after 8 pm. The clerk was waiting on me to check in and the room was fine. I could have spent double the amount and driven twice as far. The room was clean and bed was good. It had a good hot shower. Nothing fancy but the price was not fancy either. A cup of fee coffee from the lobby and I was good to go for the day.

Perhaps it was solely isolated to my room, but my corner Junior Suite had signs of water damage (huge blistering behind the paint / wall paper) in the corner close to the window. Add that to the dated bathrooms and I came away with a sense that a makeover was overdue. HOWEVER, I will say that the staff (notably, Ryan from the front desk) was EXTREMELY friendly & courteous. Give these employees a product that they can fully support (renovated hotel) and I have no doubt that this hotel could exceed expectations and reach for 5 stars.

The hotel was centrally located. Within walking distance of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, sports venues, etc. Unfortunately, parking wasn't convenient.... Not much street parking available. Wish they had a parking garage for guest use. The rooms were immaculate and the staff were pleasant. We enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. Hotels.com doesn't specify it's valet only n that's $20. They moved our seats just just to drive across the street, if u r anything like me u can't ever get your seat back the way you r comfortable. Other than that the hotel was nice, warm complimentary breakfast lots to choose from. Rooms have been updated n hotel was very clean.

I normally enjoy my stay with Hampton Inn hotels, unfortunately, this particular stay did not give me confidence to continue using Hampton Inn. I came to Cleveland for business and stayed with the Hampton Inn Downtown for 5 days/4 nights. Upon returning to my room after the first night, the bed was not made and the bathroom was not cleaned. The following […] day, I returned to the bathroom not being cleaned again. What disturbed me more was the fact that my cologne had been sprayed excessively in the bathroom and foyer of my room. Upon further inspection of the bathroom, I found a wet washcloth hanging in the tub smelling of my body wash. I called down to the manager and filed a complaint about the room. I was assured that my room would be cleaned and there would be no further inadequacies in housekeeping services. Upon returning to my room on the third day, the bathroom was once again not cleaned. Overall, this was the worst experience I have ever encountered with any hotel across the country. Upon checkout from the hotel, I spoke with the manager on duty and informed her of my overall experience. She then checked with housekeeping to confirm my earlier complaint. Upon confirmation, the manager did comp my last night's stay. At this point, the damaged had been done, especially after I had informed them of the situation. As such, I will not use the Hampton Inn Downtown - Cleveland ever again. Read more

Over decades of staying in hotels, for both business and leisure, I have never been disappointed with a Hampton Inn. This particular location was the best I've stayed in. It was completely remodeled and everything was spot-on. No complaints whatsoever - and my wife and I are very picky. You can't go wrong staying here.

Overall I had a great stay at the Hampton. Upon arrival the valet was very nice and informative. When I approached the front desk, the young lady there had an attitude and was not very welcoming. Enjoyed the hotel and great spot for the St Pattys Parade which is why we were there. Only thing I was not happy about was a room check BEFORE check out time when I was still in the room and employee carded into my room after a knock and a very short wait. I would have been very unhappy if I was not dressed or in the shower.

We spent a night in cleveland for the first time ever. Our granddaughter had a dance competition at the music center just around the corner. Our stay was pleasant & comfortable. Staff at the desk when I checked in was not plesant, however the rest of the staff made up for it with great hospitality, perfect location downtown. Clean rooms sheets and decent breakfast.

Great, helpful staff. Good, clean, comfy room. Downtown isn't v. busy after dinnertime, so if you're looking for nightlife, stay in another part of town. If downtown is your jam, this is the best option - and I searched for awhile!!

Everyone went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Especially the valet parking people who actually drove us to our event so we didn't have to deal with parking. Great Place

Staff were friendly. The hotel was well-situated near rock-n-roll hall of fame and science museum and some blocks away from downtown strip of bars and restaurants. Proximity to highway made it an easy arrival and departure. Tip - there is a parking garage around the corner that is less expensive for overnight than the valet service.

Although we can a view of an inner courtyard we just closed the blinds and enjoyed the room. Room was very clean and well decorated. For the price , it was awesome. Great restaurants nearby too.

It was a great location, Rock&Roll hall of fame and Brows Stadium are only a 10 minute walk. Tower city was about a 10 minute walk, The Q and Progressive field would be about 15. I had a great stay. It was close to the healthline and it was very easy to take the bus to the Cleveland Clinic. I had the benefits of being downtown and I was able to enjoy the great downtown restaurants that were very close. They have a wonderful buffet in the mornings with a great selection of food. The free wi-fi is a plus.

Our room didn't have a great view but that was literally the only negative thing I can possibly say about the room itself, and I'll take that considering the deal we got on it's price. Enjoyed hotel Room quiet and comfortable with nice view of the street. Front desk staff courteous and friendly - so was porter and valet parking staff. Front desk staff especially helpful - accidentally left an article of clothing behind. They directed me to housekeeping staff who I made initial contact with, but then could not re-connect with them […] (despite several calls/messages) to determine if my clothing was located. Came to Cleveland for an appt at the Cleveland Clinic, this location was downtown and very easy to get to from major highways. It was also very easy to get to the Clinic. Walking distance to RocknRoll Hall of fame, and other attractions. Only walked to nearest resturant and it was marginal at best. The Hotel itself was great. Rooms were clean, breakfast […] was standard fare, cookies in the pm were a nice touch. The only two negatives were, they had charged us for an extra valet parking, but quickly removed the charge when brought to their attention, and the maid apparently wanted to get done with work early as she came 3 times to our door to see if we had check out yet...all before 10:30am! I was very impressed with how nice the room was.... the price was great in comparison to other hotels in the area and I never thought it would be so clean and up to date. I would definitely stay again.
