Hotel was way too high priced, for absolutely no frills. Nothing convenient about this hotel at all. It's basically just a place to lay your head, but it's way too high priced for that.

Close to everything-we would have walked if it were not 22 degrees below zero. The valet guys were great! However, I think $20 valet charge per night is a bit pricey for Cleveland. The breakfast provided is very nice. Room was very comfortable

My husband and I went downtown Cleveland for the night and stayed at the Hampton for the first time, we usually stay closer to E. 4th but decided to try the Hampton and were glad we did. It was wonderful!

The only issue I had was when we gave the car to Valet and got it back at check out There seemed to be some sort of white substance caked on the front windshield. It is yet to come off. I'm not sure if someone (not saying it was an employee) wondered by the car and messed with it, or it just got parked under something that was leaking. Other than that it was a pleasant stay and everyone was cool.

I would've stayed at this hotel again. We had a great experience, until we checked out.They charged our debit card $25 a room for incidentals. When we inquired about it they said that was just to run the card to make sure funds were available. I get that, however, $1 would have sufficed. The $50 actually came out of our account. If it was someone who maybe didn't have the extra $ it could easily cause lots of problems. They also took one to many valet fees from our account. $21.60 ×3. When I mentioned all of the above they stated that we would have to have our bank reverse the funds. Very, very, frustrating. No one mentioned the $25 fees and I didn't see it any where in small print. We won't go back to the Hampton Inn, ever again.

The hotel facilities were fine but the staff in below good standards. There are no options for self parking and the valet parking is a mess. There was a lot of confusion. We wete told to pull up and leave the car eas not given a ticket nobody was aware of the lication of our vehicle. The front desk had no suggestions our questions were answered with 'I dont know go outside and ask ' the valet staff was not very helpful either. Our vehicle was left running unattended.

The only problem we had was that someone was running up and down the hall screaming until 3am. After several calls to the front desk, the police came.

My experience was great. Wish they would have a fridge in the room. The front desk were friendly and very helpful. Their internet access was a bit tricky to log in but the speed was decent.

Excellent hotel with great staff, starting with the valet parking guys. Very friendly and helpful. ALL the staff were extremely friendly. My friend and I were in town for a conference and any questions we had about how to get to the convention center or available parking were answered for us. Only thing I was surprised about was no frig or microwave in the room. With the weather the way it was, we came prepared to check in and stay in until we had to go to the conference. Desk staff was prepared with menus for area places so that helped!

Everything during our stay was awesome except for the fact that the complimentary breakfast was worthless. The lines were so long an uncontrolled that by the time we got halfway through, the food we were able to get was ice cold. There was a lot of items that weren't replenished until after we made it through the line and we didnt get any of those items. We ended up calling the service desk and complaining to the manager, who was nice enough to make us plates and bring them to the room.

Great hotel. We went to a Cabs game. Only 6-8 minute walk and well worth it. It was freezing the night we went, but in the warmer months I would definitely walk everywhere with the hotel being so close. Hotel charges 20 for valet parking, there was no option to self park, but saved us from having to get in the traffic mess and pay for a parking garage at the game. The walk wasn't bad at all.

Husband in Cleveland Clinic. Rooms were nice, beds and pillows not comfortable. Not enough seating for breakfast. No microwave or mini fridge in the room for that price range is crazy.

Hotel overall was wonderful, staff is pleasant to deal with (including valet personnel). Hotel location is ideal for anybody hanging around the Cleveland downtown area. Had a girl's week-end with my daughter, 2 grand-daughters,and little friend. Very comfortable,roomy enough for 2 adults and 3 pre-teens. Beds were really comfortable. Would stay again. Staff friendly and breakfast had many choices for a continental.

We stayed in room 1209 and the living room is right behind the elevators. The elevators ran all night long and it was hard to sleep with little ones that were scared of the noises coming from the old elevators. We also asked the ladies at the front desk twice for pillows for our pull out sofa and was told they couldn't give us any because they were fully booked. I asked a cleaning lady and she gave us 4. I also asked for blanklets and sheets for the sofa and we were only given 1 of each. I felt like the front desk staff was rude and acted like we were bothering them if we needed anything.

The hotel is beautiful and the room was very nice. The beautiful, dark wood in the room was very appealing. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the mattress. It was very hard and I did not sleep well on it. Other than that, the room was perfect.

The hotel was very nice and very clean. The location was perfect for us, as we were attending a concert at the House of Blues and we were able to walk there and back with no problem. The only downside is that the parking is valet only, but we parked in a parking garage across and down the street a little and it was reasonable. I think that is pretty standard for the area. Everything else was perfect and we would recommend a stay there to anyone.

I really enjoyed my suite. It was cozy and it was my home away from home experience for one day. The only complaint I have was of noisy children on the floor I was staying on, but other than that it was great! I will be returning here in the near future.

If you're looking for someplace to lay your head without much more, than certainly consider this hotel. It doesn't offer a great amount of amenities, but it is within walking distance to the popular downtown areas. Just a short walk and your within reach to Playhouse Square, East 9th, and the Horseshoe Casino, as well as the Q and Progressive Field. The room was definitely clean, but not quite as comfortable as I've had elsewhere. The staff was friendly which was a plus. I believe the parking if valet only, however there is plenty of options in the area. We got lucky and parked right on the street overnight since it was a Saturday. My only complaint was the free breakfast. It wasn't as fresh as I'm used to. But it did fill my belly.
