My daughter and I stayed at the Residence Inn downtown Montreal and had a good experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and nice. The location was perfect for all that we had planned. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating is because the beds were just awful. They seemed old, hard and just plain uncomfortable. I would recommend staying here, but would ask for a room with new beds.

Visited Montreal with my family (wife, 9 and 8 yo kids). Concierge service was prompt. Room was plenty spacious for us. Location was ideal downtown. Excercise room is more than you get at most hotels. Only slights are pool and breakfast are very average. Not bad, just average. We would certainly stay here again. And hope to.

If you want a cheapish Sheraton by the airport this hotel is an OK option. My stay was spoilt by the incompetence of the front desk who 1. tried to put me in a room that was a lower catagory than I had booked and 2. did not respond when I complained about the broken heater / air conditioner in my room. As an international tourist I called the front desk for directions to the hotel two times. I was travelling from Eastern Canada and checking in past 11 pm. Both times they did not give a clear answer and was eager to put the phone down. A clear concise answer would have helped me save valuable time, anguish. Good location for catching an early monring flight out. Although the beds were very comfortable, I was otherwise very displeased. Not only was our room not clean (hand prints on the mirrors, soap residue in the soap dish, used cups stacked under clean ones), but after dropping over 400 on our stay, they had the gall to charge their guests 12.50 a day in parking! Unbelievable! And it's not like their guests […] have any other option but to park there. Although the staff was friendly I will never stay in this hotel again, and will warn friends to avoid it as well. If you want a hotel close to the airport, I suggest the Marriott. Our room was ready when we arrived at 2:00pm and the staff could not have been more helpful. Our room was spacious, clean and very bright. The only downside was that there was dust over by the window - it had not been dusted properly. You have to pay over $14 for parking per night, they do not offer breakfast, nor do you get free internet (all of which were available and free at Best Western). L'hôtel est situé près de l'aéroport Pierre-Trudeau. Bien qu'à moins d'un kilomètre de l'aéroport, il est difficile d'accès à pied: prenez la navette du Sheraton. Elle fait le trajet aux 20 minutes environ. Le personnel du Sheraton est très accueillant. La chambre était très bien. Le service au restaurant, pour notre déjeuner, était excellent.
