The Convent Hotel is located on one of the main streets in Amsterdam and within easy walking distance to the Centraal Train station and Dam Square-so public transportation is a snap. The hotel is well kept and the staff is very friently. The one complaint about the staff is that they do not seem very knowledgeable about typical tourist activities in Amsterdam and we didn't find a concierge staff member to help with some of our questions. Our booking through hotels.com did not include the breakfast, which looked wonderful and was expensive, so we found a lovely little care within a block or two from the hotel for our breakfasts. Lots of tours seem to use the hotel, so the staff is very comfortable speaking in English with everyone.The entrance to the hotel faces the very busy street, but the rooms are all in the back of the hotel and are very quiet. We enjoyed our stay. I would suggest trying to get the breakfast included in the hotel price.

The hotel was clean, nice, the staff friendly and helpful, especially the Concierge. The location was great, within walking distance of many restaurants, and things to see in Amsterdam.

The room was very small and a bit tight for friends. It would be nice for a couple. But the room had a cozy private terrace. And the staff was wonderful! The two desk personnel we encountered were helpful, went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed for a great visit and made a point of having what we needed before we knew we needed it. The hotel was clean, the food just right and always a fresh cup of coffee waiting for us. I would return without thinking twice.

Hotel is in need of an update, as an airport hotel is is hard to access from the airport (the walkway ends, you need to go down some rickety stairs or use an elevator that did not work when I tried to use it ). "Hilton - perfectly adequate but nothing special"

"Hilton AMS Schipol, Very convenient for airport."
Covered moving walkways connect to hotel, but with much luggage may be better using hotel shuttle. Room was very warm even with a/c at lowest temp, but fans availabe. Staff very attentive and helpful. Very good bar and restaurant off lobby, which was where good. full hot & cold breakfast is served.

hotel staff were great, very polite and friendly. The room was not in the best condition. My shower drain hardly worked. At the end of a shower, you were in about 4-6 inches of water.

The Hotel is truly linked to the airport. There are only 2 hotel that does so, the Sheraton & the Hilton for Schiphol AMS Airport. Sheraton is still nearer, The Hilton is about 7 mins walk through a sheltered elevated pleasant walkway. The hotel is modern, new, clean & frontdesk folks were polite & easily found hotels.com reservations. I had a good […] time staying there. Didn't have to dine in hotel for I could simply walk to the airport supermarket to purchase cheeper food & drinks to save on my Euros. Overall I would stay there again as it's 50 Euros or so cheaper compared to Sheraton. However, my only gripe was the Wifi wasn't complimentary. "Hilton at the Airpot"
This hotel is exactly what it says on the tin - the HILTON at the AIRPORT. It is literally located at the airport, so it's perfect for people who need to fly out early. It's also the typical Hilton experience. My only complaint is that they charge you extra for everything including internet access.

"Way too expensive"
Extremely costly. Internet, bar and restaurant all very expensive. Not particularly serviceminded staff and rooms in need for refurbishment.

"Great transfer spot"
Five minute walk or free shuttle to the Airport where shopping and cheaper food is available. Good breakfast included. comfortable bed. polite staff. VERY QUIET - soundproof windows. the room is small, as per european standards.

何カ月も前からツインで予約したのに、ツインはあいていないと言われました。このサイトが悪いのか、ホテル側が悪いのか知りませんが、せまいダブルで２泊も我慢することになりました。お金を返してほしい気分です。

Wij zochten een hotel voor één nacht omdat we de volgende ochtend zonder stress onze vlucht wilde halen en daarvoor was Hilton een uitstekend adres. Vriendelijke ontvangst, correcte wake - up call, koffie en thee op de kamer. Gunstig omdat we zonder ontbijt hadden besteld. L'unica postilla è che nessuno ci aveva ricordato che per soggiornare in hotel occorreva una carta di credito per la caparra o che avremmo dovuto effettuare un deposito cauzionale di € 200,00 per stanza, per il resto tutto ok! posizione strategica e molto ben collegata. lo consiglio a tutti!

Nice hotel, located a few minutes walking distance from the airport. Extremely service minded staf. Good food in the resturant. Only minus from me is that internet and parking is charged extra

op loopafstand naar terminal, prima overnachtingshotel voorafgaand aan een vroege vlucht, nette prijs.
Hotellet ligger greit plassert i forhold til flyplassen. vi bestilte executive room fordi vi viste at vi kom til å tilbringe myetid på rommet og ønsket god komfor. det var en skuffelse. rommet var ikke større enn vanlige hotell rom ,badet var lite. Sengen var stor men noe hard. Det som skuffet aller mest var at vi ikke hadde tilgang på gratis internett […] ...og måtte kjøpe to seperate koder for at vi begge skulle kunne bruke nettet på rommet. Og kodene var svin dyre , kostet oss 54 euro ...og det er for mye !! Så dette hotellet kommer jeg aldri til å bruke igjen om det er aldri så fint. "Hilton Amsterdam - nær flyplassen uten flystøy"
Jeg hadde bare en natt på vei til USA. Rask og vennlig innsjekking. Romslaig rom og god seng ga en god følelse. Restauranten var bra, men reklamen var foreldet. Jeg gledet meg til en buffet som de var sluttet med. Internet var god, men det bør bli innarbeidet i prisen med internet & WiFi. Utsjekkingen genial rask. Regningen var i løpet av natten stukket […] under døren til rommet. Jeg kvitterte, la nøkkelen i konvolutten og leverte den i skranken uten noe tidsspille. Flott Hilton. Read more

"Helt greit...men ikke Hilton standard"
Hotellet byr på god service, godt renhold. Hotellets interiør er imidlertid utdatert, både i fellesområder og ikke minst på rommene. Slitasjemerker på vegger og på badet er ikke det en forventer av et Hilton hotell. Frokostbuffeten er helt greit, men ikke noe utenom det vanlige. En får like god frokost på et Thon budget hotell. Dersom en bare skal […] overnatte ifm en tidlig flyreise neste dag så er dette et greit hotell, men bare med utgangspunkt i at jeg betalte halv pris. Ordinær pris ligger langt over det jeg ville vært villig til å betale for dette hotellet, med tanke på standard og vedlikehold. Det som trekker mest ned er at det ikke er trådløst internett på rommene, i tillegg til at internettbruk ikke er inkludert i prisen. Det er underlig med tanke på at fri trådløst internett inngår i dagens standardtilbud på mange andre hotell med færre stjerner enn Hilton, også i utlandet. Read more
"Hilton Schiphol, not impressed but close to flight"
I expect more from a Hilton hotel. Small room and just a so-so breakfast. However, really close to terminals at Schiphol unlike other "Schiphol"-hotels that are 10 min aways by taxi (hence, cost 30 EUR one way in night time). So, I recommend it as stop-over but nothing remarkable with the hotel.

"RECOMENDACIÓN E IMPRESIÓN GENERAL"
Si, solo que la habitación me pareció un poco pequeña. La calidad de la comida fue buena y el personal es amable. Tal vez un cartel de mayores dimensiones en el exterior ayude a los pasajeros que salen del aeropuerto a ubicar mejor al hotel. En general fue buena mi estadia.
