Great room for the price. Breakfast was weak, but then it was 5am in the morning. Will definitely stay there again when the need arises.

We booked this hotel for 5 peiple and we get there and they have 2 double beds. We were told there was a pullout also. The manager said no and I had to pay extra for a roll away.

Needs an update...the bed covering actually had holes in it. I found it safe and location near hospital was good for me. Convenient to Cracker Barrel and steak n skake for dining. Desk staff friendly and efficient upon check-in, but non-smoking room stunk of cigarettes. Manager said previous occupants kept heat on high which caused the smell (temps were in the 100s the previous day!). Manager said that changing rooms would cause HIM big problems so not possible; if we wanted to cancel our room we "had to tell him soon." When […] we returned from a short trip the room was toxic with "air freshener", and the carpet totally soaked with water...it literally sloshed when we walked on it. We asked reception if they could do something about it and were told, "I can give you a couple of extra towels." On the way out we asked the hotel to solve the water problem and when we got back asked if anything could be done and were again told we could have a couple of extra towels. The next day the manager accused us of having the AC on too high and told us we should have done something about it the previous day. Then he made a big fuss about drying the carpet. After the air freshener wore of and for the rest of our stay the room stunk of mildew but it was impossible to air it out because the windows don't open. That morning there was no tea in the "breakfast" room. I asked reception about it and she looked in the appropriate cupboard - no tea. I asked if the manager could send someone for tea and she said, "I'm the only one here!" Later she told my daughter that she left a note for the manager. I can usually overlook certain things but this website said it had a sofa bed. I spend hours searching for a room so my 4 kids would have a place to stay and when I got there NO SOFA BED. Web site said sofa bed in EVERY room. I paid a lot for two of my kids to sleep in the floor and there were ants in the floor. One of my kids woke up with ants on him. […] I told the lady in the office about my need for more sleep and all she would do was offer me a twin rollaway bed for ADDITIONAL money and move to another room. the jetted tub in my room did not work, smokers at the end of the hall were inconsiderate letting the smoke infiltrate to non-smoking rooms, occasionally the elevator was dirty, plaques were scratched.

i read the reviews in here before i booked my room for the memorial day holiday weekend, i am very well aware that you have to take reviews with a grain of salt, and i have always booked the hotel has more good reviews than bad. with that said as i walked through the door there was a strong odor of body odor in the foyer. after check in we went to the […] room and saw the condition of the room , these were some things we noticed over our stay handle of the bathroom almost falling off, bad patch job on ceiling where it looked like someone jambed something through ceiling, large tears in wall paper and there fix was staping it back to wall, mattress was 12" larger than box springs. other problems that we noticed during our stay , 6' large areas of wall paper tore off and repaired with staples in hallway and stairwell,and last but not least when i went to the front desk when i noticed that we did not have a do not disturb on the back of the door, when i told them i needed one they said they have none and when i thought the person was going to write a note to manager to get one or order more he ripes a piece of tape off and puts it on the paper and tells me that i should put it on my door. the note said " DO NOT DESTURB" no there was no typo on my typing it was the cherry on the top. do not stay here , spend a extra $20-30/night and stay at one of the many other hotels on the street and within a mile of this location. and FYI the hotel was not under remodel or construction Read more

I'll admit that some of the reason I was disappointed was that I evidently asked for a "Smoking" room and didn't realize it until I got there - it was awful. I expressed to the staff that it was an accident and that we really didn't want that room if there was any way it could be avoided, but she just gave us a shrug in reply, so in an effort to have […] a good trip, we just tried to overlook it (again, MY mistake, not theirs, that it was an issue in the first place). But the rest of the stay was a struggle to keep ourselves in a good mood. I was embarrassed that I picked out the accommodations because my spouse had so many complaints about it. There were holes everywhere - in the walls, the table, the floor - and carpet torn up. Shelves looked too dusty to have been cleaned in years. The blanket didn't appear to have been washed. This hotel is a couple of exits down from most of the shopping, dining and entertainment in the Franklin and Cool Springs area - not a far drive at all, but not centrally located in the "hot spot". The only downside to my stay was that there was no iron and ironing board in the room

The location was fantastic. Right in the middle of where I needed to be for this particular trip. However, there were several issues with the quality of the room. The walls are paper-thin. I could hear people talking in adjacent room! Several electrical outlets did not work, the air conditioner kept malfunctioning and I was told there was no one available […] to fix it at that time. There were strange stains and spots all over the sofa (my wife refused to sit on it!), the "continental breakfast" was nothing more than gas station honey buns, Wal Mart english muffins, and coffee.
