"A Little Disappointed"
I have stayed at this hotel before. My non-smoking room had been smoked in this time. I could smell the stuff they spray to cover it up. This was further evidenced by the multiple cigarette burn holes in the comforter and dust ruffle. The next morning I was glad that I checked the expiration date of my yogurt at breakfast. It had expired 5 days prior. […] All of the other yogurt in the fridge was out of date as well. Who knows how old the hard boiled eggs in there were. Overall it was quite and clean though. "Impressions From a 5-Day Stay"
Typical Tennessee friendliness exhibited by the staff. Hotel room was maintained very well with new towels, sheets, soaps provided every day. Breakfast bar was not kept stocked really well though any requests were addressed. Bathroom lavatory was stopped up and stayed so for a couple of days despite requests for attention. A plunger was finally requested […] and was used to unstop the clog. We stayed for 5 nights as we had business in the area. The hotel was convenient to routes through Jackson. "Pleasant Stay During a Difficult Time"
My sister and I were in Jackson, TN to visit a loved one in the hospital. It's a difficult time for us, so it was refreshing to find that the hotel we chose was conveniently located a few miles from the hospital. We chose the Comfort Inn at 40 International Cove. The hotel smelled very clean and fresh when we checked in, the staff were polite and helpful, […] and the double standard room was quite nice. A full breakfast and free wi-fi (unsecured) were included, which is pretty standard these days. It's a small property and the housekeeping staff left at a certain time, before we left for the hospital, which we didn't know. We thought we wouldn't have our room cleaned that day. However, the owner assured us that our room would be cleaned upon our return. It was, and it was such a relief to come back to a nice, clean room after a long, draining day at the hospital. "Passing through to Asheville..."
This hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. They assisted my wife with item she needed frozen, and offered her more ice packs for our travel. A little bit of confusion on our booking, as Expedia hadn't relayed our correct number of guests to the hotel, but they took care of it. Nice staff. If you are looking for a place to stay that is quiet, convenient […] to the interstate, fuel, and restaurants, and where you won't feel unsafe, this is a great option. If you're looking for something posh and upscale, this isn't the place - but you won't get a comfortable room for under $100. "Smelly, Noisy, Dusty"
The hotel was noisy, the room had stained walls, with some dusty areas. The A/C unit was smelly -- forcing me to shut it off. Breakfast was acceptable. I would recommend spending a little more money for a good night's sleep somewhere else.
