Fairbridge Inn Express - Post Falls

Fairbridge Inn was wonderful except that the fire alarm went off due to a mechanical problem and they were unable to get the alarm shut off for over half an hour. It was a very blasting alarm and it hurt our ears. We remained in the hotel because they informed us right away there was no fire. My needs were simple and this hotel was perfect for those simple need. Comfortable, easy access from the freeway, clean, simple food just across the street a few different selections. Indoor pool and hot tub did not use but would have been nice. I will stay there again if in the area and at the price I paid a good value for the money!

Was doing in work in the area and found this hotel to be halfway between the two towns I was working in so it was an excellent location for me. The bed is extremely comfortable and the hot tub and pool are nice amenities to have. My fiance' and I have stayed here before and it was fine except for the fact that the hotel did not have the bed we had paid for. They claimed that Expedia had overbooked our king room, so they "upgraded" us and put us in a room with 2 queens. As it was just the two […] of us, we did not need two beds. This time we had a single queen bed and we couldn't regulate the heat in the room. It was either too hot or too cold and we had to continuously fiddle with the heater. The bed, however, was super comfortable, and could rival some of the more expensive hotels in the area. Overall, not a bad price, expecially if one uses one of the local travel coupon books. I have to say the people at the front desk was very very nice. Price was excellent, room was nice, and breakfast was great. There were two problems - one was the wifi, which was eventually fixed - and the other was that the TV would not get ESPN that weekend. If not for these two issues, I would give 5 stars. The staff was very friendly and we felt comfortable there. I would most definitely stay again.

Very accommodating. 24 hr pool is great, could be a little cleaner though. Room was clean and staff was nice and friendly. Breakfast was pretty good, hot waffles, biscuits and gravy, cold cereal and fruit. I have slept in better beds in hotels. Hotel was ok, free parking, almost 30 minutes to Silverwood park. nice bathroom, bed was comfortable but no microwave and fridge at the room, the staff was so nice and helpful. breakfast was ok but too crowded around 8.30 to 9.30. in a very small place, there was a long line for waffles! breakfast including hard boiled eggs, waffles, cereals, coffee […] which was not ok, fruits including apples, oranges and bananas. bagels and english muffins, tea and juice. in our room locker was out of order! the air conditioner didn't work at all but we got a good deal by Expedia and did't pay the regular price. Worst place to stay ever! Stained bedding, hair in the bedding and shower, cigarette burns in bedding. Demanded a refund and refused to stay there. The breakfast was close to prison food. The bedside table had the previous guests spilled coffee everywhere including on the phone. The room was supposed to be non smoking. Which apparently did not mean anything to the previous occupants.

It wasnt great or terrible, it could use new pillows, they were flat as the sheets. Our room had what looked like yogurt on the ceiling and the wall, but seemed clean otherwise. The pool was DISGUSTING, which is always dissapointing for kids. I would prob stay again if I HAD too, but def. not worth the cost.

front desk attendant when we arrived was rude and impatient. pool had a lot of dirt on the bottom,. room was not clean: lamps had a tremendous amount of dust and dirt on them and one didnt have a light bulb in it. carpet was nasty. there was beer containers outside the window on the roof. cleaning lady didnt take away used towels when doing daily cleaning. […] for the amount i paid a night this was a real disappointment. i do have to say that the daily breakfast was good and the ladies working that shift worked there butt off keeping everyone happy and fed. The stay was okay & the staff were nice. However I was frustrated & surprised to find out when I went to check in that the hotel does not accept cats. We were traveling with our cat & chose this hotel because in the description it stated that it accepts pets. All other hotels were booked for the night so we stayed there.
