ALL staff is very polite and helpfull. They will go out of there way to assist you with any of your needs. I would recomend the Clarion to everyone. On the down side they have renovations going on and restaurant is closed and the front desk is a short distance to the elevators. Stop in and say "HI" the staff will greet you with a smile. I have been here the last 7 weekends and VERY HAPPY...

i found it very good the rooms are very comfortable the breakfact is incredible and the beds are so comfty with very soft blankets the bathrooms are so amazing it has a fancy sink alot of towels and very much of soap

We loved it! Staff was great, restaurant was wonderful! Buffet was delicious and reasonably priced. Beds were very comfortable and the star shuttle is very convenient! Thank you!

We stayed at the Hilton for a wedding on Pratt St., and the location was fantastic! The room was amazing, comfortbale, clean and spacious. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again!

Stayed for two nights. On arrival found dirty socks and crayons on the floor. Windows had ice and frost build up on the inside with torn curtain. M & M Bistro staff in the morning were rude and service was- take order, deliver food, and give the bill-no service. Also hotal parking was unavailable and we had to park in public garage. "nice hotel, would go back"
The hotel was nice and clean. In good location. The staff esp the front desk staff was very nice and helpful, very friendly. The only complaint I have would be about the hotel restaurant service was very slow, but the food turned out to be good.

"Hartford Hilton"
While the hotel was clean and quite convenient, they did not staff enough people to cover the morning room service rush. Our breakfast was 2 hours late and we missed the morning portion of our conference. In addition, elevators were quite slow and you cannot use the stairwell to go upstairs (only down as the doors to get in the building are all locked […] from the stairwell). The facility was nice. Staff not overly friendly or helpful. We had no heat in our room, furnace just blew cold air all night. Staff not willing to make any adjustments to compensate us for discomfort.

This hotel does not warrant the Hilton name. Lobby and restaurant was dirty and unappealing. Concierge lounge was closed, though we paid for access. We were awakened at 2:00 PM by loud noises of a party on the floor above that lasted for more than an hour. Finally had to call security. "Another wonderful stay"
The rooms at this hotel are lovely and staff are kind and helpful. Checkout this trip was a little impersonal with several people at the desk the bellhop took my room key and told me I was all set. It seemed odd but in any case he was helpful in the morning checkout rush.

The Hilton Hartford is in a great location, short walk from State Square (~5 mins). Hotel staff was very nice. The hotel itself was great, the room was lovely. The bed was super comfortable, so use the chair if you're not planning to go to sleep right away.

From the moment I walked in the door, I was impressed and delighted by staff service and atmosphere. Clean, stylish lobby, lounge, and restaurant area. My friends and I had an anime expo to go to and instead of spending four hundred dollars to stay at the Marriott, we stayed here and what a great choice that was. The hotel was located a couple of blocks from the convention center, but there was a shuttle that went by constantly or we walked it seeing as it wasn't far away. "Horribly Average"
I've stayed at many Hilton's, and this was probably the worst of them all. Not to say its a bad hotel, just not what I'd expect from a Hilton, likely due to the elements of Hartford it has to work with. The hotel staff were prompt and courteous, and they were very accommodating to a rather off-the-wall convention that many of the guests were attending. […] Exactly what I'd hope for and expect there. The cleanliness of the rooms leaved a little to be desired. Its clear the beds haven't been moved in years, which lead to a discovery of used band-aids, red stains (not blood, but not sure what it was), and food bits. If you never lose anything under the bed, you'll never have a problem, but I'd imagine with severe dust allergies, you'd feel the effects. The linens were ok, but they really need to wash their duvets more often. The cover was fine, but the filling lit up like a Christmas tree under a black light. The hotel restaurant was very good, except for the service. If you go there, keep an eye out for the younger brunette waitress, as she was the only one there that had any energy, and didn't keep you waiting 45 mins after eating for the check. She's highly recommended, the rest, be a bit forceful with. The food quality was top notch though, some of the best in Hartford. The most disgusting part of the hotel was by far the hotel parking garage, in particular, the stairs to them. The homeless in Hartford must have collectively decided that this is their toilet, and proceed to use it as such. The urine odor is absolutely horrific, as it clearly hasn't been mopped up in a long time. The adjoined public parking garage didn't have this issue, and was far, far more pleasant, and the parking there was honored at the front desk for me. Do yourself a favor and park there if you can. Hartford is a city with many issues, and its clear its taking its toll on hotels such as this one. The room was nice and clean. There is a large park only a short walk away and the State Capitol building is on the edge of the park. Nice park with great views, an indoor carousel, and some fountains. The State Capitol building is a beautiful building. Our only problem with the hotel was the pool. "Hilton in Hartford, good for a night or two"
When i stayed @ the Hilton hotel in Hartford, i was not very satisfied. SOME of the service was good, however once when we complained about an inconvenience, they were RUDE to us! However, I dont mind it for only a night or two. Also, the area was scary for us. There were some rude people, and it can also be very crowded in restaurants.

"Amazing staff"
My husband and I were amazed at the excellent staff at the Hilton Hartford. The desk clerks were all exceptionally professional, courteous, and helpful. There was a problem with our reservation and the check-in clerk treated us to a complimentary drink at the bar while she took care of the paperwork. The staff was very friendly. Our room was very clean perhaps a bit dated but overall nice. The beds were so comfy. We stayed for a concert at the comcast theater and it was very convenient. There were nearby dining sites within walking distance. We walked to the theatre taking approx. 10-15 min. Would stay here again!

The Hilton in Hartford is close to most downtown bars and restaurants. It is clean, but if your room faces the highway, chances are it will be loud. Not too loud, but you will hear the cars and trucks and night. The hotel was very nice and services was great. They even allowed us to use the shuttle service for free to/from our concert venue the night we stayed. Which was unexpected and very helpful. The only issue I really had was the cost of room service with such small portions. I was told crab cakes were large and for $19 I was surprised to see they were […] an appetizer portion, not a meal portion. The same with our pasta dish. The food was excellent, but the portions were fit for a child's dish or appetizer not an adult meal. We ended up eating a second dinner only 2 hours later as a result. And we are not big eaters.
