    My stay was welcomed by the friendly valet and quick front desk employee. The hotel had an extravagant look to it and was kept very clean. The only things I didn't like was that there wasn't a refrigerator in the room even though it was a deluxe city view room, and the maids seemed to kind of linger and wait for you to leave for the day.

    First time I am giving a review. But wanted to tell this time. I am a frequent traveler and often stay only one night or two only. What I want is a good night sleep. That's it. This hotel has no soundproofing at all. It’s like sleeping in a tent and hearing everything around. I could hear the TV from the 2 rooms close to mine or music from the radio. […] And they were not pushing the sound loud. Worst is that I could hear everything from the hallway. Just a pain! I will never go back. And price makes no sense. Only went there because I was attending an event the day after in this hotel. Would have preferred to be in another place at cheaper price and have a good night sleep. Read more

    Beware of the parking charge. Upon check in we were told that you can just park in the parking garage in the hotel assigned area. Didn't mention anything about a fee. Next morning I had a bill under my door for $18 for 12 hours of parking. Everything was normal and you can walk to everything.

    I stayed here for business and this is a great hotel for business travelers. Close to the middle of the city, with great access to Epicentre and other attractions in Charlotte. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are very comfortable and clean.

    Nice rooms but shower drain was too slow so the water backed up, no water pressure and for some reason it took 10 minutes for the water to get hot. Also, on the day of our check out we called the front desk for valet to send our car around and to send up a bell hop to get our bags. We waited 20-30 minutes and finally took our own bags down and they […] had to go get our car...it was like we never made the call. Waiting 30 minutes for no bell hop is definitely unacceptable; waiting 10 minutes for hot water and a clogged drain is not my idea of a great shower either. Let me assure you this is not typical behavior of our hotel. I am glad that overall you enjoyed our hotel and would like to stay with us again. The hotel staff were nice and the condition of the hotel and rooms were good. Nothing to complain about, except the awkward visit by hotel staff.     The staff was more than friendly. Restaurants and pubs all close by. Taxi station right out side of the hotel, the bus station 2 blocks away, and train 1 block away. The airport was close too, but you couldn't hear any of the air traffic like the 'airport' hotels.

    Nice hotel. Room was clean and ready early. Bed was not as comfortable as expected. First room we checked in did not have a tub so we called to switch rooms and staff immediately accommodated our request. Great location, close to restaurants. Overall it is a nice hotel and I would stay here again.

    Over all a nice hotel. A little over priced for the rooms condition. Staff was very attentive. The other complaint was lack of a late check out. We asked and were refused. I could have really used a few extra hours of sleep!!!
