First I want to say that this is a beautiful hotel and is in a great spot in the City of Charlotte. I live here in Charlotte and I was having a Sweet 16 for my daughter and we booked 2 rooms for the overnite stay. Everything was lovely and both rooms were very clean but I do have one complaint. I dont understand why this hotel doesnt provide a free breakfast for the guest of the hotel. The rooms are costly but its okay because of where it is but I was going to get an extention to one of the rooms but was very dissapointed when I found out that the Continental Breakfast cost. (alot). I didnt mind paying but after paying as much for the rooms I felt like thats something they can offer. I think in my next adventure I will look for a hotel that do provide that for their guest. That was the only thing I was dissapointed about. Maybe thats something the hotel can think of for the future. Overall I did enjoy my stay.

I would recommend, but it should have been better. No refrigerators in the rooms. Toilets were loud and took a long time to refill. Wanted to make my night a little more romantic so i wanted to add some sparkling cider and 6 chocolate covered strawberries. They quoted me $70! So much for that idea. Unless you need to be downtown, choose somewhere else and save the $18/night for parking.

A little bit expensive for my wallet, however its a super place to stay if you want to walk to the panthers football game. Its close (walking distance) to all of downtown Charlotte's hot spots, Wiskey River being my favorite. Parking cost $$ and was full when we arrived, but shortly we were able to move into the garage at 16.00 per day.I go to alot of the panthers games and if cost was not a concern I'd stay there every time. All staff were helpful and the rooms very nice and clean.

This is a nice Hilton in the center (Uptown) of Charlotte. I stayed for a weekend with my partner. We loved the location (near nice restaurants and nightlife), cleanliness of the rooms, presentation of the hotel, YMCA availability (although it is closed on Sunday), and friendliness of the staff. My only complaint is that the valet staff were completely stretched beyond imagination. We booked a room with valet parking included, which I recommend as the overnight valet fee is $26. However, there seemed to be only two guys running the whole valet service: trying to park returning cars and get cars for guests that were leaving. It took quite a while to get the car even after calling down ahead of time. Overall, though, I'd say that the Hilton is good value for money.

The room's are very nice, a little small, but to be expected. The large television and the fantastic shower make the hotel. My problem was the fact I stayed on a weekend and it brags about a great fitness center... when you get there you find out it is the adjoining YMCA that is closed at 4 on Saturday and completely closed on Sunday.

This probably used to be a great hotel, but it is outdated compared with the other nicer hotels in the area. They are doing construction on the main driveway, so it is noisy and difficult to enter the hotel. Overall, once the renovations are made, it will be a good place to stay, however for now, I would recommend booking the Westin down the street.

For what I paid for my room I was expecting to have peace and quiet. I had to let the front desk know about the loud shouting and noise going on in the hallway and next door to me and it was well after 11pm and after midnight. After 2 requests the noise stopped but the room itself was nice. Very comfortable and the ammenities were nice although paying to have internet access at almost 10.00 was not worth it to me to use it. Parking at 18.00 was a bit much as well but ofcourse I needed to pay it as I was in and out of the hotel. Overall it is a nice stay. Also you have to pay a fee to use the pool so be prepared.

The location of this hotel is fantastic, the backdoor leads to the convention center and local rails, while one block up the street is the epicenter, a new mall that conists of fine and fast food dining, clubs, bars, bowling and an upscale theater. However, it was not everything that I expected. The elevators did not always function properly, with one day in particular, a line of people on each floor waiting for a single elevator to move people up and down, had to wait ten minutes. The resteraunt was acceptable, but by no means worth the high prices because there were other, better places a short walk away. Though the bar staff and waiters were good. My room itself had a great large flat panel tv, yet they did not have any hd programming, which was a waste. The bathroom fauctet dripped my entire stay. All in all, it was not terrible, but by no means was it at the top of the list for the actual quality of the hotel.

I've stayed in dozens of Hiltons around the country and this was easily the coldest and rudest staff I have ever encountered. The hotel itself was beautiful, but the staff really set my trip off on the wrong foot. From the valet to the executive level assistant, I never felt welcome. There was even a mistake on my bill and no one apologized for the mistake. They almost made me feel like it was my fault. We decided to venture on foot to these local establishments that ventured up to four blocks away each way and returned to the Hotel without Dinner or Drinks. We were met by the front desk staff that apologized and offered to comp us a drink a piece in the Hotel Lounge for our inconvenience., I am truly sorry, but a cocktail offered for a $230.00 Hotel room will not compensate my loss of an evening on the Town!!

The front desk was empty, but you could see the attendant in the side office ignoring the desk. I could clearly see his computer screen in the back had nothing to with hotel business. Then the channel guide was incorrect and he told us he would send a security guard to check the tv for us. Very strange, but the guard never came. At that point all we wanted was a wake up call and our phone calls were ignored. Everything else was great, but the end of our night left us confused and annoyed.
