hotel's being renovated, so no pool, and lobby half painted. they tell you this up front. staff is very helpful; room tidy and pretty, breakfast quite substantial, fresh fruit too. they are having trouble with wifi in the rooms, but it's easily to be had in the lobby and breakfast space. very convenient to airport.

i found it very good the rooms are very comfortable the breakfact is incredible and the beds are so comfty with very soft blankets the bathrooms are so amazing it has a fancy sink alot of towels and very much of soap

We have stayed at this hotel on all of our frequent trips to the Wallingford area. Very convenient, clean, friendly staff and a wonderful breakfast is included.
Location.
Situated in Farmington, Homewood Suites by Hilton Hartford-Farmington is close to University of Connecticut Health Center, Hill-Stead Museum, and First Church of Christ. Also nearby are Westfarms Mall and Noah Webster House.
Hotel Features.
Homewood Suites by Hilton Hartford-Farmington has a health club, an indoor pool, and a fitness facility. This 3-star hotel features business amenities including a business center, small meeting rooms, and a technology helpdesk. A complimentary breakfast is served each morning and a complimentary light meal reception is available on select days. The staff can arrange event catering and business services. Additional amenities include multilingual staff, gift shops/newsstands, and barbecue grills. Onsite parking is complimentary.

"Huge suite, very comfortable"

Maintenance was a little shoddy. Telephone was broken, faucet handle fell off. Food not as good as most Homewood. No local restaurants.. Did not seem as well managed as others I have visited, however, the comfort and amenities were standard for the chain.

"Not good.. Exceptional !!"
I was amazingly surprised at the quality and service offered. From ease of check in/check out (by the way check out was a late 12pm/noon- rarely seen at hotels who want you out early so they can reset the room for the next guest!), to the complimentary newspapers at your door each morning, and the buffet dinner AND breakfast! "Homewood Suites in Farmington, CT"
This was perhaps one of the best one night stays I have ever experienced. The room was immaculate, it was quite, and extremely comfortable. The service could not have been better. This was indeed an unexpected but very pleasant surprise and the modest cost of the room made it a real value for even the most demanding of guests.
Amazing value- lovely two room suites that are clean and comfortable, workout room that you can actually move in, nice pool, free dinner AND breakfast.
"Noise"
One side of room elevator noise ever ytime it went up or down, every time the bell rang to tell you it was coming. On other side of room heard the alarm from the room next door!

"Nice hotel"
This was a nice hotel;. Very convenient to West Hartford and right by UCONN Med Center. The continental breakfast was convenient and we were surprised to have a complimentary dinner on our first night there. The indoor pool was great. Loved the kitchen in the suite. The rooms could use some upgrading, though. Older styled decor and colors. Only 1 remote […] for both TVs, and only 2 kids channels, and nothing suitable for them at night. Read more

"NO SOUND INSULATION"
You could here the conversation all night by the people in the next room. Also no wakeup call when i called to reserve one.
"Great place to stay...as long as you don't need anything"
Overall it was a great place to stay and we would stay there again. Breakfast was great and while we never ate at the free dinner buffet it looked more than enough if you didn't want to go out. The only problem was when we asked for things. We needed a crib for our child - I mentioned it right after I booked the room, mentioned it a few weeks after […] that, mentioned it after we arrived, reminded them before we went to dinner, and finally after coming back from dinner I had to tell the person at the front desk I would wait there until she found one and brought it to me. Since there were four of us we needed extra towels and we asked a few times over our four days there - not once did we get them, we had to go looking for them every time. Lastly, we think we left something in the room, I called to see if it was there and despite promises I would be called back, no one ever did, I finally called and spoke to the right person three days later. "Incredible value - close to highway"
For the price of a hotel room you get 2 rooms, 2 TVs, a full kitchen, indoor pool, dinner during the week, and breakfast. We usually travel with family, including small kids, so it's ideal. There's nothing around this particular location besides the local hospital and access to I-84, but if you need to be in the area, it can't be beat.
