"Four Points Eastham - Close to a recommendation"
I stayed at the Four Points after seeing the quality of the rooms online and while the room was what was pictured, the atmosphere was not. Let me explain. I was assigned to a room adjoining the Indoor Pool area. Which could've been nice, given that there was a nice little indoor balcony overlooking the pool area. However, the constant noise from the […] pool area was very distracting and despite closing at 10pm, there were kids screaming in the pool area until well past 10:30 every night. Also, since there are many lights to light up the porches/balconies/pool area, it would've been nice to pull a curtain to drown out the light. In fact, this no doubt would have cut down on the noise "pollution" from the pool area as well. Alas, the room only had a sheer curtain so sleeping and overall relaxation was minimized. I suspect that had I received one of the non-pool rooms, my experience would've been tremendously better. If you book a room here, expect either noise, lots of light, and no way to drown it out. Overall, hotel was beautiful and the staff was very nice. Unfortunately, with 100% occupancy there was no where else for them to move me. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Served its purpose."
Room was nicely appointed although hallways and such, you could tell were a bit worn. A bit expensive for the middle of winter.Genuine Expedia guest review
Huge room. Everything seemed clean. Doors to hall are kind of thin so you hear people in the hall. Walls room to room are thick. I would stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very nice hotel!"
We stayed there for three nights in the off season. The room was huge, and nicely appointed. There is a restaurant on site that serves very good food, if you do not have time to find another of the many excellent seafood places nearby. There are both inside and outside pools. We enjoyed our stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Standard and expectable"
We were doing some research in Eastham and Orleans so this location was excellent. We were there off season so the hotel was not crowded nor noisy in the evening. But half the rooms open over the swimming pool, cocktail area, and I expect these rooms are very noisy during the evenings during the season. So early sleepers beware and get outside room […] s. For what was the most expensive place around, this motel was certainly nothing special. I expected more. I am sure the others up and down Route 6 in the area were just as suitable for much less money. The housekeeping was poor. My wife noticed that the bathroom floors were not swept or mopped during our 2 day stay. The indoor pool was nice, but the […] single hot tub could only accomodate 2-3 people at a time. The beds killed my back, but maybe that's just me. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Standard Sheraton at Outrageous Prices"
We were astounded to discover that there was literally no acceptable accommodations for a 1 night stay close to Provincetown in August, even booking 3 weeks out. This place had rooms, but at a steep premium, even for this seasoned traveller to Europe's big cities, etc... That said, the condition of the hotel and our rooms, the cleanliness and amenities […] offered, the quality of the buffet breakfast and the knowledgeable, friendly staff were all great. Our ignorance of the market in the Lower Cape was our fault - next time we'll shop around earlier or drive back to Hyannis. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Nice well maintained hotel"
Our accommodations at the Sheraton was really nice with clean, comfortable rooms and a nice restaurant where we enjoyed a tasty leisurely breakfast. The location is excellent if you are planning an excursion to Cape Cod and an interesting museum/bird sanctuary near the hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Bra, men lite långt ifrån Provincetown"

"Great customer service. Nice room."

This was just a quick overnight trip so wasn't able to take advantage of all the hotel offerings but what little we did experience was all positive. The front desk staff was incredibly nice and very helpful. Smooth check in and answered all our "area" questions. The room was good sized and very clean and overlooked the indoor pool with a little balcony. Would have loved to have utilized this and the pool area but not enough time.
"ok for a couple nights on last minute booking."
07/16/14 love2seenewthings Boston, MA
I chose this hotel because it was in a good location and was available for a 2 night stay. The girls at the customer service desk were very pleasant and made checking in a quick and easy process. The room was a standard two queen bed room. We did need to call for extra towels due to shortage for 4 people. The room could use a little maintenance, but was overall clean and comfortable. What was disappointing was the cleanliness of the hallways and side entrances. The rugs were full of stains and sand and the door to the stairwell was sticky with peeling paint. The smell of chlorine from indoor swimming pool radiated throughout the hotel, which is not uncommon with indoor pools. There was a coffee maker in each room, although it would have been nice to have an area, possibly near the lobby with coffee already made, and to go cups, without having to go into restaurant. Overall it was ok for a couple of nights, especially when you are only using the hotel for sleeping and showers.
"Dated, in need of some help"
07/15/14 kckiss Philadelphia, PA
I've stayed at this hotel about a few times over past 10 years. As others have noted, it has become very dated. High season rates run upward to $400, but the decor isn't worth it. Rooms were large, beds not too comfortable. AC unit cycles from high to low all night long, which makes a lot of noise and doesn't keep the room temp even. Other furniture in room needs an update. Not many outlets, although they have added a couple 6 plug adapters to outlets. WiFi is average speed, maybe a little faster than other hotels. Indoor pool area is nice, especially in off season, although the pool area looks dated. The hot tub is super tiny! Outside pool is nice. On-site restaurant has a small bar. We only had breakfast and it was good. Everything is driving distance, except for bike path that is behind hotel. It looks like they are able to charge top rates based on hotel size and amenities, despite the fact they are dated. There isn't much else around, thus no reason to put too much money into it. Staff was Ok. One person working front desk had a bit of an attitude, but overall everyone else seemed to be friendly.

This hotel is clean and is up-to-date. My room was of good size, the bathroom modern and spotless, the beds comfortable. I was allowed to check in early, stayed three nights, and on the last day had a meeting in the hotel from 7 AM to 11:30 AM, so I requested a late checkout on the evening of my last night, but the evening desk had no authority to deal with my request and referred me to the morning crew, with the decision-making person available from 8 AM on. I went to the bar for a cocktail and a bite to eat. The bar keeper was also the dining room server. There were people at several tables and only one other person at the bar. She asked me to hang on for three minutes, but when she had not acknowledged me further I left unserved after ten. My room, and probably most of the rooms have a glass door as second exit that opens out into the indoor pool area, likely a blessing for families with children using the pool, but since there is no other window there never is any outdoor light or sunlight entering, leaving the room dark and in need of artificial illumination even in daytime. A major draw-back for me, an outdoor oriented person. The house-keeping staff was extraordinarily friendly and helpful, the front staff courteous. Due to the rooms' orientation towards the indoor pool, there is no outside noise from route 6 traffic and the rooms are quiet after the 10 PM pool closing. Wi-fi reception was excellent and free.
"Nice place to stay"
06/18/14 oneheart58 Cape Cod, MA
I've stayed here several times and have never had any problems. Quick and easy check in. Rooms are clean and updated. The pools are beautiful. Summertime traffic on Route 6 is always a bit daunting, but this hotel is worth the trip.
"Convenient location to bay and ocean"
06/12/14 curveball14 milford, ny
We stayed at the Sheraton while visiting family on the Cape during the off-season. While we were not able to make use of the nearby beaches we were able to use the pool at the hotel, which was very nice. The one-floor hotel surrounds the pool area, with some rooms looking out on the pool and others looking toward the parking area. Entrance to the room was down a long hallway after coming in one outside door. The restaurant in the hotel was not "Five Stars" but certainly adequate for breakfast, which is pretty much the only meal we ate there. The room was comfortable and the bed fairly firm. The rooms are somewhat dated, but roomy and have all the usual complementary items, coffee maker, hair dryer, fridge, etc. The bathroom was good and everything was clean. You are not staying at the Ritz here, but you could very well stay in much worse surroundings at other Cape hotels.
"Sweet and Convinient"
06/12/14 Mali G New York City, New York
We like to stay in this hotel every time we are visiting the Cape. Although it's about 20 miles (35 minutes) from Provincetown it's still worth the back and forth driving when/if needed. The hotel is right on Route 6, comfortable and clean and service is kind and efficient. The hotel has an indoor pool as well as an outdoor one so if you're stuck on a rainy day that's a great solution. It's also about 5 minutes drive from Marconi beach.
"Awesome Pools & Interesting Clientele"
06/09/14 Jessica O Boston, Massachusetts
My husband and I recently spent a long weekend on the outer Cape, primarily to go to the beach. We spent most of our time on scenic ocean-side beaches below high cliffs. We stayed at the Four Points because of its amenities and convenient location. Late in the afternoons we came back to the hotel and sat by the outdoor pool. There were just a few other couples there. The water was clean, clear, and refreshing. Both of us wear g-string swimsuits, which attracted notice from one of the other couples in our age cohort (late 20s) who complimented us. They came from Montreal, and wanted to know where we got our swimsuits and how popular they are on Cape Cod. Their English was limited as is our French, but we managed to make ourselves understood. In fact, we ended up going to dinner together that night and then going to the beach together the next day which was our last day there. It was fun to make new friends from a foreign country, if only temporarily and even if the country is our next-door neighbor. We also used the indoor pool and jacuzzi a couple of times. We had a first-floor room that opened on the atrium enclosing the indoor pool area, so it was very convenient to walk out of our room in our swimsuits. There were plenty of kids at the indoor pool making a lot of noise at times, but later in the evening things got calmer. All in all, a very nice hotel with great pools, friendly staff, and interesting guests.
"Not a good value! "
06/07/14 cyndilou Boston, Massachusetts
There is no competition for hotels on the Cape and the Sheraton is taking advantage of that fact. We wanted a place with a pool and a restaurant. Both were acceptable but not great. The room was decent but our bathroom was dirty when we checked in. We had spoty service with the front desk. If the room had been $120 I would have been Ok with this barely 3 star hotel. But we paid $170! A rip off to say the least.

Hotel is dated and needs a major make-over. Staff are very friendly and accomodating. Walking distance to Arnold's Seafood restaurant; otherwise nothing much around the vicinity. Free parking. Good location between Provincetown and Chatham.
