The hotel is modern and clean with a good range of restaurants within the hotel. This is important if, like me, you do not have a car since there are no facilities close to the hotel. I found the food to be good and reasonably priced but it is a shame the hotel does not operate a shuttle to the airport. Instead you are obligated to ride a pricey shuttle […] (about $7 each way for a brief ride). There is no free internet in the hotel and prices to get access are absurdly high. Finally, there are 3 Holiday inns at Heathrow and airport employees are not able to distinguish between them thus sending you to the wrong hotel and leading to the expense of a taxi. The hotel staff whilst nice look to have charged my room multiple times for the same items. Also if you are on the side that faces the sun then your room is likely to be boiling and the air conditioning doesnt work, in fact I am not sure it exists except for a box on the wall that you press buttons and nothing happens.

internet use fees are tricky. theymust be easy to understand and reasonabel. restaurant very bad. difficult to access except using the airport bus everytime you need to leave the hotel. rest just fine.

Met our need to be close to Heathrow. The room was clean and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast prices were high, but that is a London problem. One of the people at the service desk didn't inform me that he had the information on the terminal numbers in relation to the bus we should take. A second person later was very helpful.

There is a free shuttle...called the Hotel Hopper. Bus comes by every 30 minutes Terminal 7. There was a pay shuttle every 30 minutes to terminal 1,2,and 3. Very timely and friendly. The hotel itself is fine...its the cost that is outrageous. First off, its much farther from the airport than it seemed on the internet map, the cost and hassle of getting to and from the airport was VERY significant because there is (incredibly) NO shuttle service provided. Also internet...again, I would have expected free WI-FI (like even the B&B's […] we stayed at in England and Ireland had), but no! You had to pay for timed service. Also...I needed some extra cash since we were at the end of our trip (to get back to the airport). Guess what? The room was ample, but some of the furnishings were quite worn including a large stain on the carpet. The key card for entry only worked sporadically. In the morning, I learned that breakfast was not included in the reservation. In general, the hotel had quite large surcharges for things that should be included such as WIFI, breakfast or TV.

Just looking a little tired. Tiles in bathroom had been badly grouted.....One of my towels seemed to have old make-up on it...not sure if it had been changed or not. Room service meal was not great and very expensive.

We enjoyed our stay. There is a shuttle from the Heathrow airport - you should call ahead of time to get the correct one. It is pretty far from the tube station, but you can take a bus to that. We enjoyed the pub Ploughs -- very good food and drink.

If you used this place as a one night stop over it is fine. However from my perspective the food is of a poor quality, many from frozen and in some cases out of a packet. We spent a week in the countryside and stopped here before turning in our rental car at Heathrow the next day before going into London. This hotel is impossible to get to by GPS. The staff at the hotel were great and very helpful but the hotel has problems, I had no hot water in the morning and a very noisy and ineffective air conditioning unit in the rooms. Its an old hotel that has been revamped but the technical issues really showed me it was superficial revamp and not the main mechanics of the hotel. Its a good location […] and the room rates were very good, but you have to take the Hopper Bus which is £8.00 return or £4.50 single but runs very regularly. Some of the other Heathrow hotels are in the fee zone for the local bus services but not this hotel. Te internet is £16.00 per 24 hours but it allows 2 different log ins from one room so for example Ipad and computer and its a good service. Breakfast is only £10.00 if you book it with the room so I would do that. There are closer and better hotels which vary in rates but on a overnight this would not be the worse, just not the best. The stuff is not really friendly (I think because they know that most of the guests will stay only once). Room cleaning forgot the soap and it took 1 hour and 3 (!) calls to get some. The hotel is only a few hundred meters from the airport but you have to allow 45 minutes because of a very disappointing shuttle service which cost 8,50 Pounds round trip […] (!) which isn't made clear on most sites where you can book your room. Also, the shuttle goes only 2-3 times per hour and the last service is before midnight! The room was clean but poor service and very worn out furniture. Definitely not a 4 star hotel.
