The room was cleaning and the hotel was clean but the front desk keep calling us saying we had a dog and we didn't. They kept trying to charge us for the pet fee. We told the multiply times that we didn't have a dog with us and they still didn't believe us. we were traveling from chicago to lawrence, ks. this was convient (right off i35) and the distance we wanted to travel on a friday night, lawerence is about 1.5 hours from here. but the room was disgusting. the carpet was like a sponge. we slept in our clothes, stripped the beds and used our own quilts and pillows. bascially we slept here, brushed our […] teeth and left as fast as we could. the room smelled of mold and was disgusting. i would not recommend this hotel and if i could do over would have traveled the extra 30 minutes and stayed in kansas city. The stay was very good. The biggest problem was while I was at pool trying to relax, The staff's children was there to ruin my relaxing time. They started out at one end of the pool so I was at the other. They came to the end I was at and started jumping in splashing water and all that. So, while the hotel was a good stay... dont go swimming!!!

This hotel was absolutely disgusting. It stank so strongly of mold and mildew that it nauseated us. We actually got scented candles to burn to help take away some of the stench. The carpets were filthy and felt sticky when you walked across them. We would have gone somewhere else but all other hotels were full except this one. Go figure.

Motel is run by a very nice couple. Rooms are OK, fine for spending the night on a road trip. There is a supermarket next door and a good selection of eating choices within walking distance.

Gross, keep on driving and find a different place to stay. The bathroom door won't open and management determined the lock was broken. We were moved to a room that had a bathroom door that didn't close. Both rooms were smelly.
