The hotel was very nice and the staff was extremely courteous. Our room was not the one I had booked online. I booked a 2 bdrm suite and we were given a 1 bdrm suite. The staff was able to move us to the correct room. However, we had to pay an additional $20 for the upgrade. The staff apologized for the problem and did everything to make our stay comfortable. The buffet breakfast was very good and had a large variety of items.

Great Staff! Helpfull very friendly and professional. Nice rooms, clean, roomy, comfy beds, numerous free drink offers for guests.

Convenient to Philips Arena...good restaurants. Room initially didn't have a good view...but air didn't work & it was going to be another hour toget it going. They gave us another room with a view of centennial park & free breakfast buffet for the inconvenience ....great service! The double beds were really small & not comfortable...that was the only negative.
Location.
Econo Lodge Stone Mountain is in Tucker (Decatur - Stone Mountain) and area attractions include Northlake Mall, Stone Mountain Park, and James R. Hallford Stadium. Additional area attractions include RE-MAX Greater Atlanta Stadium.

"EconoLodge Tucker, GA"
The staff are quite friendly. It's just a shame the hotel is in a not-so-good area and the hotel itself looks quite dated and has a musty smell to it. Other guests were quite loud into the night which didn't help either.
"Econo lodge is a dump"
This Econo Lodge is convenient to Stone Mountain, but that is all it has to offer. It is old, dated, dirty, and cheap. We got what we paid for, cheap rate and 2 star cheap hotel. The lobby smells like curry. The neighborhood is not bad, just industrial and warehouse/offices. I recommend that you spend more money to stay somewhere nicer than this.
