"Great location, very reasonably priced"

Although just spent 1 night there, I would gladly recommend this motel to others: the location is superb, the rooms are good, you get many conveniences you may not have in other places. The place has a really fast internet connection, which I needed for my work. The hotel staff was very kind. Two thing, which may be improved: only 4 seats in the breakfast area (in off season it's not an issue, but I wouldn't like to imagine in summer) and the hotel bikes may be taken only for an hour.

Great value for money. The smallest & coziest hotel on the boardwalk. A big plus for the free bikerental!

Very pleased with the hotel.Had a fabulous weeks stay.Location is great. Only issue we had was with the design of their toilets very low and shallow.Not very comfortable for males. Friendly Staff. Loved the beach.

Although the hotel was rated 2 stars definitely deserves 5 stars. Clean, friendly staff, free bike rentals, pool w/pool toys for the kids, continental breakfast every morning. Convenient to the beach and the sights and free parking. I’ve stayed at 5 star hotels and resorts that could learn from this hotel. Even my kids raved that it was one of the best hotels they’ve ever stayed at. Would definitely stay here again and certainly would recommend it.

Nice hotel, friendly staff and well maintained. We have stayed at resorts that were not near as nice or enjoyable for a lot more money. If you enjoy Virginia Beach, this is a great place to stay right on the ocean.

I wanted to do something special for my husband. I went to Hotels.com and read all reviews for the hotel. It is an old buliding but the rooms are very clean and the staff was awesome. Every room is on right on the water. This is wonderful hotel with a great price. I would recommend it to anyone.

"Nice Place on the Beach"

The hotel is not new and shows some age. However, the rooms are freshly painted and that goes a long way toward making the place seem fresh. The parking lot and surrounding area is kept very clean by maintenance personnel. Free 1-hour bicycle rental is a nice touch and is appreciated.

"only 1 small problem"

Everything was outstanding. my wife is handicapped and we need to carry a machine for her breathing which is bulky even in 3 pieces. The staff was more than willing to help with the machine and to make sure we were satisified. just one small problem is that the parking spaces are a tad on the small side. Super value for the money. Exceptional continental breakfast.

Very nice hotel with friendly, helpful managers. Beds were firm and comfortable. Room looked right out onto the beach. Breakfast was more than adequate. Tea and coffee, cereal, oatmeal, danish, and juice.
