Nothing fancy but perfect if you're looking to stay in TempeGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel and staff was fantastic. Treated me like family. Very nice to my kids. Well trained staff. I can't say anything bad about the hotel. I will go again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Visiting our ASU student"
Our son was busy with school and fraternity functions during our visit but, we were able to enjoy a fun weekend at the many shops and restaurants in between his pop in visits and dinners! The staff was excellent from the front desk, wait staff for food and drink as well as the house keeping. Great long weekend!Genuine Expedia guest review
The only thing I would be a tiny bit picky about was that it seemed to take a really long time for room service trays In the corridors to be picked up. Everything was excellent. Especially the pool and happy hour and the location to the Mill st bars and Ra sushi. Just a great place to relax.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Beautiful Arizona Hotel with Amenities"
The staff was absolutely wonderful and welcomed us with excellent service upon arrival. The pool was fabulous and the hotel offers a wide array of amenities :) The rooms were spacious enough for a couple and we loved our king bed. The balcony door overlooking the hotel courtyard was a great addition. The bathroom was clean. Plenty of storage space! […] The hotel is in a great location. We did not need a car because it was in walking distance to downtown Tempe and the ASU campus. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Love the hotel and location"
This hotel is the best hotel in Tempe. Came here with my son and his friend to visit ASU. The only thing that was sub standard was the breakfast buffet. Not good for the price. Bacon burnt. Eggs dry. Not a lot of variety. Somewhat disappointing for Easter breakfast but still loved the hotel. Other than this my son and I loved this hotel and I will […] stay here again when I come to visit him at ASU. I just won't have the breakfast buffet. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Great hotel! Conveniently located to ASU. Beautiful room!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to ASU"
We had a fine time at the Tempe Mission Palms. It was convenient to a collegiate event we were attending and close to many restaurants. The only problem we experienced was the night club across the street that stays open until 2am. If you stay here I would recommend asking for rooms on the back side of the hotel as far away from the front as you can. […] Overall, we were satisfied with our stay. "Great location, near lots of restaurants and shops"
I especially loved the pool and hot tubs. The room was very comfortable and clean. The parking availability was okay, but there wasn't access into the hotel from the parking lot area. The proximity of the hotel to restaurants, bars and shops is awesome!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Not up to par!!"
Asked for a king size bed. But they didn't have one on arrival. We were given the wrong key, twice. For the money, to many mistakes!!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Classy, Fun Neighborhood"
Upper-end hotel. Big room. Quiet. Mill Street with it's entertainment and food is close-by. Big outdoor pool with two Jacuzzi's. Tennis courts were not operable but it is not my sport. Pleasant courtyard with tall palms in the center area of the hotel. My guess is that the neighborhood is more youth-oriented than Scottsdale. Close to ASU and Town Lake, […] a beautiful park. Classy place for a business meeting. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Location, Location, Location!"
We were here for a college visit at ASU. It was great because we were within walking distance of the campus. We also wanted to get a feel of what Tempe/the college town was all about, and you were able to do that by staying close to all of the action.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Not sure how they got 4 1/2 stars."
Room had a smell and the pool was very small! We only stayed one night and was disappointed.Genuine Expedia guest review
This hotel is amazing. Perfect location if u want to be downtown. Don't think I would stay anywhere else. The rooms have a beautiful view as well.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Perfect for celebrating St. Patty's Day at Rula Bu"
My sisters and I always stay here during the St. Patty's Day holiday. The location is perfect for us. The hotel staff and hospitality is top notch. I probably would've rated the comfort a 4 or 5 but the bed mattresses really need to be replaced. Way too lumpy and soft.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Beautiful Hotel - Just off Mill Street"
My wife and I came to visit our son in Tempe. We had very enjoyable stay, the weather was perfect and the open transitions from inside to outside were welcome. The pool is nice for an in town location. The location is great, just on the edge of Mill Street. The concierge was very helpful suggesting day trips that fit our interests.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good hotel for conferences"
Meeting halls all adjacent to each other and converge into an open-air central courtyard. The hall layouts make it easy to jump from one session to another. Snacks and meals are served in the open courtyard. Rooms are located on the second floor close enough if you want to work away from the conference, take a quick break or eat away from the rest […] . Very nice hotel. I would recommend suites over standard room much more room and updated as well. The rooftop pool with cabanas and cafe very relaxing with view of the mountain.Genuine Expedia guest review
hotel is very nice and in a great location. However, the rooms have not been maintained. Drapes had holes and rips in them. Room decor was dated, bathrooms had been updated but trim on bathtup faucet was installed at a 40 degree slant. Just looked tacky. Mattresses were very soft and sagged. Coffee pot went on and off while brewing. Had to keep resetting […] switch. Pot was not the original and did not fit the maker so it would not stop if pot was removed while brewing. Label on coffee maker said pot could be removed. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Had a excellent stay. Was there for a wedding. Really liked the way it was all set up, but also felt the hotel was a little pricey. Overall, I would stay here again :)Genuine Expedia guest review
"Very convenient location"
If you're staying in Tempe, this is an excellent choice. Walking distance (1/2 block) to the center of town. Lots of choices for dinner and a lively night scene. The hotel was very clean and excellent customer service. The only thing that I didn't like was that they leave the plates from room service in the hallways for long periods of time. Otherwise, […] this hotel is tough to beat. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Tempe Mission Palms ROCKS!"
Stayed over with my girlfriend...we hiked up "A" mtn a couple times, hit some local cafes, took the adjacent light rail into Phoenix, had a few drinks in Harry's....Tempe Mission Palms is a beautiful hotel with that incredibly soothing/serene courtyard and a great staff performing great service in a killer location! Two major thumbs up!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very nice place. It's smelled so pretty outside in the court yard. The hotel was nice and close to a lot of things down Mill Ave. Very funny..Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Right off of Mill Ave!"
Awesome!!!!!!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"I love this hotel"
You can't beat the location on Mill Avenue. The rooms are very clean and modern and the customer service was great. My only wish was for an iPod dock on the clock radio since I had forgotten my charger.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Nice hotel in a great locationGenuine Hotels.com guest review
It was all about location but the place was dirty all the way. We even found cups with lipstick on it, it was disgusting. The customer service was a disaster and housekeeping knocked on the door a few times to see if we were ready to go and if not when. Very inappropriate.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Response by Tempe Mission Palms - Destination Hotels & Resorts Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your concerns. I apologize for the housekeeping issues, and please know that this is not typical of our hotel. We have forwarded your concerns to our director of housekeeping, and we will make the necessary changes to these types of issues do not happen in the future. Thank you for your feedback. the hotel guests were extremely noisy.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Lovely open door access to the interior courtyard!"
Staying at the Tempe Mission Palms is like taking a Calgon moment in the middle of bustling Tempe. The water features, palm trees, and paths through the courtyard really give you a sense of getting away from it all, and yet, all the fun of Tempe's college town are steps away. Plus, Tempe is a great location for easily getting to and from Scottsdale, […] Mesa, and the airport. I highly recommend the Tempe Mission Palms. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Response by Tempe Mission Palms - Destination Hotels & Resorts Thank you for your review of Tempe Mission Palms on Expedia. We are glad you were able to enjoy those “Calgon” moments in our courtyard, and also have fun on Mill Avenue. We look forward to your return to Tempe! Ken McKenzie General Manager
We were celebrating our anniversary. we walked around mull ave, so the hotel location was perfect. The only 2 complaints were the airplane noise and the valet guy that moved my car without asking.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great location, friendly customer service"
Enjoyed my stay. Note that because you are close to Mill Ave nightlife, you may here substantial noise from the bars until 2am if you are facing the front or west side of the hotel. Best place to stay in tempe.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The rooms were really clean and nice with a couch, refrig, nice size bathroom. Additional cost of hotel stays , maybe 2-4 extra fees due to resort things. You can park the car yourself and not tip the valet.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Tempe Mission Palms"
Had a fun girls weekend to celebrate a milestone birthday. We chose this hotel because of close proximity to Mill Ave. Bartender was friendly, gave the birthday girl a glass of wine on the house and graciously took lots of pics. Check in was fast. Pretty hotel, room was clean with nice linens and updated bathroom. View from the room overlooked the courtyard […] and "A" mountain. Had a great time and would definitely stay again. I stayed at this hotel a couple of nights The room was beautiful and comfortable. The only flaw was the bathroom door wouldn't stay closed. The view into the courtyard was amazing and the food at the restaurant was delicious.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Love the hotel"
I booked the hotel for New Year's Block party and it was the best thing I did. At the end of the day I did not had to walk too far to get back to the comfort of my room.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great Tempe Location"
In the heart of downtown Tempe and close to the airport. Great place to stay for the Fiesta Bowl.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel, great location"

"Great place to see New Year's Eve fireworks!!"
Great hotel and very helpful staff. Fantastic place to view fireworks with our grandchildren. Lots of space in the room.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Very nice but can be noisy"
Our stay started out poorly with a smoking/smell room and not too friendly receptionist but was correct by another receptionist and a different room. Planes flying overhead can be loud and the sound of the touch-down canon from the stadium truly got your attention. Otherwise very nice.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Old Town Tempe's secret"
5 nights. Very enjoyable. Would recommend new towels and matressesGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Wished I would have found this hotel sooner!"
Great property located right on ASU campus. I was pleasantly surprised when I drove up. This is a nice property, well appointed rooms with nice beds (I'm picky about the rooms). Professional staff, dining and bar. All you could ask for if you're visiting ASU campus or surrounding area.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"quick trip to ASU"
I was pleasantly surprised by the convenience and comfort of the hotel to my daughter at ASU,Tempe. I would definitely stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We really enjoyed the location. After a long drive, we were able to swim on the second level and enjoy the view. The next day I hiked up to the U of A letters, and had lunch in the charming town of Tempe.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Perfect Location for ASU Event/Visit"
We chose this hotel because it was walking distance to the ASU campus and stadium. It was very convenient to be so close to both. We never had to use our vehicle for the 3 days we stayed at the hotel. The hotel is nice and clean. The employees were all nice, too. The only complaint is the extra firm beds (borderline hard), otherwise a great hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"In Heart of Tempe"
This hotel is perfectly situated to access Tempe's restaurant and bar scene by foot. Step out of the door and you are surrounded by countless options. Yet the entrance to the hotel gives a feel of privacy and seclusion with spacious circle drive, towering palm trees, and complimentary valet. And trust me, with the parking situation we experienced trying […] to self park, you want to valet. Our visit coincided with the university's Homecoming weekend and as a family with two rambunctious dogs and a toddler, not the best choice. Marching bands, bar crawls and all. I would highly recommend this hotel to younger single travelers and couples. The staff is fantastic and make you feel welcome from the instant you arrive. Room service was decent with delicious jalapeno bread on my sandwich and quick delivery. Hotel and furnishings need updating but things were immaculately clean. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

Hotel was attractive. Staff helpful. Nice location--unless being near an airport bothers you. We were in a flight path, but it wasnt too intrusive, & the flights stopped midevening. Prospctive guests should be made aware, I think.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great location, great hotel, friendly staff"
Stayed here for only one night for the Tempe Triathlon. It was perfect. It was only 2 blocks from the Park, the rooms were very nice and the staff were as friendly as anywhere I have ever stayed. We got a room on the second floor by the pool. The balcony faced the pool and was perfect. They also have a bar and a nice breakfast buffet with indoor and […] patio seating. We will be staying here again next year. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
