They redid the rooms and they should update their pictures, we came we were suprised by the beautiful new remodeled room and bathroom and we love the new design of the sheets! really comfotable beds and pillows!! They should really update their pictures!!!

Nice clean bed and room. The rooms are not fancy, but would definitely recommend for a short stay. Hotel is in the center of Great Barrington and shops and restaurants are within easy walking distance. The hotel is on a busy road, but because it is set back far enough, the rooms are quiet.

This is a 2-story garden style motel. The room was large, and the bathroom was modern, with large tiling on the floor. It was very clean/well maintained. This is not the kind of place to stay if you are going to hang around the facility for entertainment, but a very comfortable room at a reasonable price.

Very helpful staff, great location, price was right. Good shower, good air con. Jacuzzi right next to the bed did not make sense. Finishing touches were cheaply done e.g. backward door handles, new lock not covering old lock and empty space exposed. But overall was adequate and clean.

The staff were wonderful, but it advertised a swimming pool which was very important to us. The swimming pool was closed down, the windows of the pool area were white-washed and I was told they didn't have a pool.

This hotel is all about location, location, location. If you want to walk to the main downtown area this is your hotel/motel. It is a very modest hotel/motel, in acceptable condition. It is not the type of room that encourages you stay inside and hangout, it is just a place to use as base camp to head downtown for the night.

You stay here to be right in town, and stay cheap. The staff was friendly and appropriate. Room was a little worn around the edges, but clean. Not great, but I was happy enough. Best part is just a few blocks from the center of town... plus if there on the weekend, parking in town is not easy.

This is the third time we had stayed in this hotel (out of necessity), and it seems to get worse each time. We had a double room for 3 people, and it was way too cramped. Most double rooms usually accomodate more than 2 people easily. This hotel is old, musty, and has big, black spiders living on the roof of the hallways at night. We had to walk to […] our room hunched over out of fear. This hotel isn't even a good value for the price. It is the cheapest hotel (pricewise) in the area, but you are paying for comfort, and in this case, there isn't much. The one plus about this hotel is the town of Great Barrington. I was handed a paper to sign that there would be no smoking or pets allowed in the room, which was fine with me. When I turned down the bedspread, lo and behold there were three large, ugly cigarette burn holes in the foamlike blanket. YUK! We had tickets for the Dance Festival at the Pillow in Becket. The Inn was a 40 minute ride to Becket, and we were able to enjoy all the surrounding towns during the rest of our stay, each town offering a different attraction. The location in Great Barrington was perfect, a block away from all the shops, restaurants, theater and cinema. This small town […] has great charm and wonderful residents. This Inn seems to have had a "before" and "after" (change of management). It has been renovated, new carpets, new bedding, very clean room. We were a bit cautious about staying next to the train tracks, but during our stay (2 days) we never heard a train go by, especially at night. The outer structure of the building could use some renovations and we never tried the courtesy breakfast, being that the reception area is rather drab. Wouldn't hesitate about staying again in this motel, BUT!!!!! The odour of the room was annoying, not mildew or smoke, just not fresh. Even with the windows open the 2 days wasn't enough.
