The place was conveniently located to both the airport and downtown Spokane but the neighborhood is a bit sketchy. The beds were not very comfortable as they were low to the ground and on the hard side. The place was clean. The Motel 6 across the street was cheaper and had nicer beds.

The only things that were positive about this stay was the hotel staff and the mattress. Everything else was below average. There was no seal on the door so the air blew into the room. There was no insulation, so the people talking outside your room sounded like they were inside your room. If any other guest is taking a shower, you might as well wait […] because the pressure and the temerature get cut in half. Their continental breakfast was a bowl of doughnut holes. The toilet was all but touching the bathtub it was so close to it. There was at least two different kinds of mold in the shower around the knobs and on the ceiling, including black mold. The "air conditioner" was broken. I wouldn't stay here again if I was paid to. Read more

Very simple. Update update update. Mattress needs replaced. Plumbing needs redone. If you have back problems look elsewhere. My back was killing me every morning due to the poor mattress. Faucet leaks in shower and water ends up all over the floor. Toilet and shower plumbing are mutual thusly do not flush when someone is in the shower.

The room was clean including the bathroom. The biggest downfall was the firm beds and flat pillows. They were firm and couldn't fold them to get comfortable. The continential breakfast closed at nine. Usually they are open until ten.

Room was fine. TV picture was very bad for it was out of focus on all but two channels. Staff at check in were freindly but completely rude at check out. Picked this hotel over others due to free breakfast but the breakfast was simply cold cerial, OJ, coffee and some very stale donut holes.

This was probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed at! The toilet seat was literally a inch from the bath tub. So I was basically sitting on the tub. The shower curtain when wet wreaked of urine. We had either a rat or mouse in the room. When we turned one light on you could hear electricity surging through it. When we used the hair dryer all the […] lights dimmed in the room. The smell was horrible. If I had not paid for two nights there is NO way we would have stayed again. Across the street is a nice Hampton Inn and are Motel 6. The area was a little sketchy. I AM 68 YEARS OLD AND HAVE STAYED IN MANY HUNDREDS OF MOTELS/HOTELS/MILITARY BARRACKS ALL OVER THE WORLD. THIS WAS THE 2ND WORST. THE FIRST WORST WAS JUST AS BAD BUT HAD BEDBUGS! EVERY EMPLOYEE AND MANAGER INVOLVED IN THIS MOTEL SHOULD BE FIRED IMMEDIATELY.

This is the typical Econolodge experience... It is a bit out dated, water stains inside the room with a ripped bed skirt. There was basic T.V., plenty of hot water, and a descent bed to sleep in. A decent hotel experience; staff & neighbors were wonderful. :) Enjoyed my time spent there, albeit not the highest quality hotel in all of Spokane, lol. Definitely worth the money and a quiet, comfortable night's stay @ Econo Lodge & Suites in Spokane, WA. :)

Gross, sums it up....except the bed was very comfortable. Better than the room we stayed in the night before that cost twice as much. Ceiling damage, dark large stains carpet, very dated, I wouldn't shower and you need to turn sideways to use the toilet as it's about 2 inches from the tub (room 165).

We found this hotel hard to get to, and filthy dirty when we got there. Our tub had a rotted safety mat covered with black mold.

Worst hotel experience ever. The staff was relatively helpful but the hotel itself... Yikes. I have never felt so unclean at a hotel before. The room (supposedly non-smoking) wreaked of smoke. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and didn't have fitted sheets; just a bed sheet laid over the top, not even tucked in. Then the bathroom almost gave me a […] seizure due to the ridiculous flickering of the light in there. Then to cap it all off the shuttle never showed to pick us up at the airport when we flew back into town. We were forced to take a cab despite the fact that we booked the shuttle three days earlier, had already paid for it, AND called the hotel 20 minutes earlier and were told they were on their way (only about a 5-7 minute drive). Then when we got to the hotel, both of the shuttles were sitting in front of the hotel, definitely not on their way to pick us up. There must have been a lot going on in Spokane the weekend we stayed because most of the hotels were booked full. Ours was pretty packed. The hotel staff did a pretty good job dealing with all these people professionally. The rate was not bad either. When we got to our room the first thing we noticed was something wrong with the door. After looking […] at it for a minute, its seemed pretty obvious that the door had been kicked in, the jamb was broken and someone came in and very shabbily tried to fix it. The new hole in the jamb for the deadbolt was a half inch off the weather stripping, so we could hear everything going on outside very clearly as well as had a strong draft pouring in all night. The only way to fix this would have been to block the door shut, a fire hazard. We didn't tell the staff because they had a lot of cranky people to deal with. Otherwise the room was fine. We borrowed a rollaway crib for our baby, but he hated the half inch think "mattress" so he slept on the bed instead. There was a free breakfast which composed of three plain cereals, bread for toast and donut holes. That is it. Not a bad place to stay and most rooms won't have a formerly busted in door. Read more
