I think this hotel could be better with some TLC, improve the elevator look for help in surrounding areas such as transportation and other amenties. Rooms are good need some newer furniture, but we there to sleep and to be a tourist for a day.

My husband and I stayed there for the weekend and the Hotel staff couldn't be more friendly and the front desk gave us the room we wanted. We stay there all the time. We love it there. The room was very clean,free breakfast was very good and the indoor pool was very clean to.

This hotel is located in an area that appears to cater to visitors intent on partying, not just sighseeing. Had we known that we would have selected another site at Niagara. It was very noisy and not as nice as we expected. We felt like we were on Bourbon Street!

Room smelled terribly of smoke even though i booked non smoking. I was given a can of Febreeze that helped somewhat . I spent the next 3 days smelling lIke an ashtray .

If you are not expecting much and just need a room to crash in and shower... this is a good hotel for the price. Within walking distance to everything... if you are in good shape to walk. It's hard to rate this particular hotel because the service and cleanliness were great but the hotel is in a desperate need for a makeover. The hotel is very old, so even if they try really hard to clean up and make you feel comfortable, still there is an awful smell and the feeling that everything is falling apart.

I wasn't expecting a whole lot but the hotel surprised me (in a mostly good way.) It's location is great for Clifton Hill novelty museums and attractions, and Maid of the Mist is at the bottom of the hill. The horseshoe falls themselves are a little further away, probably 15-20 minute walk - there are closer hotels - but it's either one or the other. […] For a budget property, the Days Inn was more than adequate for our stay. I check-in late and so I have to park on an non-secured extended parking across the street. The sign is clear but the entire lot is not lighted at all. Right across that, there is a gated, well-lighted extended parking for Travelodge. I don't feel they deserved to charge me $10 parking fee for that. Anyway, I made it to the front desk. The lady assigned […] my family to a room on the 6th floor. The room was so full of urine smell, we ran back to front desk, asking a guy behind the counter for another room. He acted like this is never happened in hotel business. He checked (or maybe pretended to check) on the computer behind the desk, lied through his teeth, saying nothing else is available. Right next to him, a lady overheard my conversation. She immediately switched me to a non-smoking, "non-stinky" room on the same floor in no time. Well, the second room is dusty and has quite a few stains on the carpet. I took it anyway and not going to roll the dice again. The AC is noisy, wake me up at least 3 times throughout the night. The soap felt like a piece of rubber. The towels are soft if you compare them to sand paper. The free breakfast is very basic, no eggs, no sausage, no pancake. Well, nothing on the breakfast menu needs a fork. So, they actually not even put out any plastic fork for guests! My complaint is primary on the poor service and the filthiness in the room/building. There are many hotel choices along Victoria Ave, so just stay away from this Days Inn. Read more

unfortunately we were not very impressed with part of our stay at the Days Inn. The room and location were great but the fact that "breakfast" was included with our stay well let's just say that the "breakfast" consisted of bagels/toast, donuts, apples/bananas and yogurt....THAT'S IT ! this is not what i would call breakfast. Also the room where breakfast […] was being served in did not accomodate everyone and we were forced to bring our so called breakfast back to our room. The WiFi also did not work, ok well it worked for maybe 1 minute, i also overheard a few other guests in the lobby complaining about the WiFi not working and the response we received was "yeah it depends on what direction you're facing in the hotel so all you can do is keep trying" (are you kidding me????) For the amount of money we paid, we expected to have what was actually included. I've stayed at many motels which have been a lot better in what type of breakfast foods were served and paid half the price. Read more

The door wouldn't lock when leaving on the first room. They moved us to the second room and sitting on the bed was like sitting on a teeter totter. They moved us again to a mini suite with a very nice view and refunded the $30 paid for parking in their lot. There is only one elevator which is slow and usually crowed. The hotel was close to everything but the service was bad. One of the rooms we booked expected to be duple queen bed, we got a one king size bed. The extra beds were finished too, so we couldn't sleep comfortable.

The hotel is in tourist area of Niagara Falls (walking distance to major attractions). Rooms are simple, unpretentious, quiet, and clean. Free breakfasts are modest but sufficient. Overall it is a good hotel for a family on a budget.

My son in law's door lock was broken. He finally resorted to placing a chair under the door knob to keep it shut. My daughter found a used condom in her room. All of the rooms (we had three) had a musty odor to them. No, I would not recommend this particular place.
