The staff were very friendly. The bed was extremely comfy and room nice and clean. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The price was the best part. I couldn't believe how inexpensive it was for such a lovely room. I will be using this hotel again in future.

When I first entered the room, there was a very bad odor smell coming from the room, and the bathroom. The lamps were broken and the breakfast was not good. There were BIG YELLOW stains on our comforters, we got them changed and there were even bigger stains on the other ones! The hotel is a 5 mins drive from the falls, thats the only good thing.

Not a good place to stay. At all. The hotel had a bad smell, cracks on the walls, paper thing walls, hair in the bathroom, dingy bathroom and not very clean. But I guess you cannot complain for the price. If you want better you have to pay for it and go the the Hilton.

Fan didn't work, fireplace didn't work, hairdryer didn't work. Too flimsy a door stop on the sliding door that went right into the parking lot, so didn't really feel secure. Clean, though and the staff was very nice.

It was one of the worst hotel experience I have ever had. It was a 3 star I would rate it no even 2 stars. Our first room has had bumpy comforters and very small flat pillows and had extremely loud water pipes that you could not sleep through so we complained and were moved to another room. This room you hear hard thumping noises and loud drunken guests all night. We told the front desk our experience he just said 'ok' and was very unapologetic and did not seem to care. There was no efforts made to compensate us or even to be somewhat sympathetic to what we had gone through at his hotel. I strongly do not recommend it!

I can say i have never taken the time to write a review before about a hotel and maybe it's because I have stayed at some fairly nice hotels, however this was an experience in it's own. The bathroom I'm pretty sure was not even cleaned prior, there was hair all over the place and the towels were stained. There was garbage still in the drawer beside the bed, they made a big deal when checking in about every room having a fire place but they don't work and the man at the front desk said they don't put them on until mid November luckily i had a sweater otherwise would have froze. The only thing I can say is you get what you pay for and this place was cheap!

After reading the comments I did not expect a very good hotel, but I booked at the last minute and I had tickets at shaw Festival for that night. The hotel was indeed very basic. there was a strong disinfectant odor in the hallways and no elevator. The room was large enough and had a bit of a view. The king bed was comfortable, but the comforter had old blood stains in full sight. The swimming pool was closed and so was the breakfast restaurant, so I did not get the services advertised on their site.

Carpet had not been vacuumed. Bathroom counter was poorly patched, bathroom sink was scratched & stained, bathtub non-slip surface was blotchy grey. Towels were sandpaper. Second night we got no washcloths. Fireplace wasn't working. No list of TV stations. Walls patched poorly. Air conditioner scary dirty. Walls thin, noise all night, including plumbing & slamming doors (need door closers on all rooms). There was unidentified sticky brown stuff on ice bucket.

The first room we stayed in, shower was broken. We went to the front desk, the gentlemen was very help that he changed the room right away for us. Although inside the room is a little old, the staying is ok.

Hotel and Rooms are in need of updating. Bathrooms are falling apart and previous repairs have been made with different tile. All the amenities are cheap (plastic cups, toilet paper, etc.) Shower taps leak and water was coming through the ceiling of the room below. Nice view of the Niagara gorge. Not a three star hotel; you get what you pay for.

This is an older hotel that is a bit musty but it was very convenient to the venue we were visiting. As we were only going to be there overnight (a total of 8 hours) so it was a good value considering.

The room had not been cleaned when we entered. We had to ask them to clean it and they did it very quickly. They probably do not usually spend much time cleaning the rooms. There were very visible spiderwebs in the room and dried chewing gum on the window ledge. They clean as least as possible. There was leftover soap in the bathroom and some rusted metal chain in the bathtub. The towels had hair on them. The hotel comes with free breakfast. The breakfast is served in a tiny hotel room with 5-6 small tables so there is no room to sit. They were supposed to have muffins croissants coffee and tea but they run out of food very quickly. Our room was on the fourth floor but there was no elevator. I stay at hotels at least once a month. This is the first time I ever write a review simply because I never experienced something so bad. Expedia needs to be careful with the selection of hotels.

The hotel's overall condition and upkeep were extremely disappointing. Not all all what we expected out of a 3 star hotel, therefore the rating used on the Expedia website was very misleading. My room, in the bathroom the shower tiles had mold between the tiles grout. The tub faucet was running like no stopping it and all night long very noisy. The tub was badly stained not cleaned and the drain was rusted also badly. The pool room was late to open 10:00am and the sign say 9:00am. The sauna was not working at all and the Jacuzzi some of the jets does not work and the water was not hot and could not get hot enough to enjoy it. We tried it two times that morning but still only warm.

this was no way a three star hotel...... you should send people to check it out before you guys rate them... the room was dirty, the bathroom had hair all over the floor. my wife refused to have a shower because it was filthy. the bed sheets were covered in stains. the indoor pool was cold, the hot tube was warm ,like having a bath. over all will not go there ever again. should be rated a one star, mabe 1 1/2 star. i am not happy about the service by reserving on line... for this hotel, your rating system was totaly WRONG.....

TERRIBLE. Plenty of pubic hair in the bathroom. Bedspread in an discusting condition. No room service for 2 days..so no coffee, no towels, no bags for the ice, no glasses/cups.... No elevator and we were on the 3rd floor. Breakfast stops at 9h00 am (We are on vacation and got up around that time). We paid for the awfull view of a ciment wall with uncut grass...not what we were expecting.

This place is a very old dump that is no longer under the Days Inn name for a reason. The place is dirty and very old. The so called continental breakfast was coffees and muffins that were terrible. Unless you are just looking for a cheap place to sleep spend another 50 bucks and go elsewhere.

The only problem with the hotel was the check in ... 3:00pm for check in that's is too late . And the guy who works infront was very rude . The hotel is not the best in my book but it was closer to the via rail station and the greyhound that was a bonus .. The breasfask was a joke... Muffin and coffee ?? Umm no bacon ? Oh well! Overall I was only there for a day with my family if you are on a budget and just staying for a night it not that bad !! The bed were good !

When I arrived, my room was located on the 4th floor, as there was no elevator and stair climbing was out of the question due to physical problems, I asked the front desk for a room reassignment. They were extremely helpful and a new room was arranged immediately for easy access. The personnel on the front desk were courteous, helpful and informative. The hotel has seen better days, and could use a makeover, but all in all nothing bad to complain about. It served my purpose and all was good.

No one showed to turn the room over in between nights. The continental breakfast was the most pitifall I've seen in Canada. Had to go and purchase breakfast. Only liquids offered were coffee and water. No juice for kids. 1 Muffin left for our family of 4 with no others available. AC unit needs repair or maintenance.

Our stay was fine, when we got there the person who helped us was very pleasant and assisted us as soon as we entered. The hallways in the hotel were extremely hot for some reason which I thought was odd, the hallways also smelled like an older hotel does, personally I didn't care, as long as my room was clean. The room was indeed clean, no complaints, unfortunately shortly after we got there the AC started leaking all over the carpet, I called the reception and gentleman came up who didn't speak too much English and just basically brought up some towels and left. They never attempted to move me to another room which I thought was odd, usually Hotels do that. In the morning, the included breakfast was pretty awful, just some muffins and small buns along with a pot of coffee or hot water, no juice or any other type of beverage. Oddly enough the breakfast room is actually a hotel room where all the furniture has been removed. Overall if you're just looking to crash there for the night, it's not bad but don't look for anything fancy, this is a no frills as it gets, but I should stress that at least my room was very clean and that's what matters the most.

The price we paid, was probably the correct one...the room was large, it was clean and the a/c kept us cool...I would suggest however they put microwaves in their rooms...we had bought to go meals at the grocery store, but couldn't heat them up when we got back to the hotel. The pool was refreshing, the hot tub could use some repairs, jets were not very strong Overall we were pleased with the room...

The covers on the bed had stains (seems like blood) on them. For the price hotel was ok.
