Bridgewater Days Inn Conference Center Somerville Area - Bridgewater

Difficult to get to on Route 22. The pictures on the website are not accurate at all. Hotel needs to be updated. Room was acceptable but sheets did not get changed for my 3 day stay. Free breakfast was limited to bagels and cereal. Dining room was dirty and attendant was about 80 years old! If you have a limited budget, stay here.

I booked a non-smoking room but the check-in desk insisted that I had booked a smoking room. My room confirmation showed that I did NOT book a smoking room, but I did not have the room confirmation with me and they would not move me to a non-smoking room. Very poor customer service.

Comfortable bed. Clean room and bathroom. Lots of eating places nearby. Front office staff could be friendlier but they were not impolite. Would stay there again.

Great place. Very accessable, close to everything needed. Everything you need in a hotel apart from spotty internet. The only way I could download a 50MB file was using my phone and transferring it to my computer. I told the front desk and they reset the router, but it didn't get any better.

It's all the basics u need, without skipping out on comfort. Many places at this price have broken appliances, bed bugs or aren't safe. The only issue I had was a flickering bathroom light. Yes the channels are limited, but free WiFi makes up for that. It's a great deal.

Found this hotel seeking a place 10 miles from work location. Hotel under new management as of 1/15/13. Our room was comfortable and clean, front desk staff attentive and knowledgeable, and i noticed how other occupied guest rooms were spread throughout hotel rather than crammed together. It was nice to have a quiet place to work using their included […] wifi. Cable tv was excellent, ice machines working but vending and drink machines still waiting to be filled. Originally planned for one night, wound up having business plans change, called them 1 hour after checkout and they accommodated us for additional nights in the same room from which we just checked out. Wish their breakfast offered more gluten-free choices. Completely impressed with hotel. If I am in the area on business again I will stay here over other hotel choices. Read more

I did not enjoy my short stay at the hotel. As a matter of fact, I left the hotel and found another hotel inwhich to spend the night. After being in my room for approximately an hour, all of a sudden I heard a noise in the bathroom. There was what appeared to be a circular metal grating which appeared to be covering a drain to the left of the toilet. […] Water started coming out of the drain, containing little chunks of black debris, and on to the bathroom floor. Eventually the water went back down in to the drain, but the debris remained on the bathroom floor. The heating system was not very good either. I turned the heat on and it blew hot air and then after about 30 minutes the unit started blowing cool air. I was very disappointed at this time and decided that this hotel had probably seen better days, so it was best for me to find another hotel where I can get a clean and comfortable room to do my work and prepare for my meetings. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. Read more

It is a older hotel so do not expect the best at this rate. I would stay there again but not with my wife. It is a great location and hotel to be working out of and that is what I am using it for.They had a microwave and small refrig.so my next stay Ill use that for snaks and drinks.A lot of places to eat in the area but I don't like driving in NJ unless […] I have to.rthe higway 22 is one way and the resturants are basically in the strip of land in between the lanes. Nice place to stay - not fancy but works well! The area under the bed needs to be inspected/vacumed perhaps a little more frequently ,and the ventilation fan in the bathroom was pretty noisy(shut the door at night so I could sleep) I think $20/night charge when you stay with a dog is Ok, but should be rated(decreased) if you are staying multiple nights.I […] would stay here again if I am in the area. Near major highways to travel to NYC. Good price. Older property, frayed but not filthy. Breakfast sucks. Fitness room large, nice strnagth training machines. Terrible tread mills, you can get hurt if you try to run (belt snags and drags) okay for brisk walking.

They didn't initially have a non-smoking room per reservation. They did however clean a room for me, but it did take 20 minutes at 11:30 pm. The hotel is old and bathrooms (and rooms) look like they are from the 1970s.

The only issue I had was the smell from previous smoking in the room that made me uncomfortable all night. I am very allergic to smell from smoking and it seemed like even though the room said non-smoking, the previous occupant had been heavily smoking in this room.

the room had a musty smell and there were signs requesting that the windows not be opened. The couch had two pieces of scotch tape on one arm and there was a stain on one of the cushions we could not identify and our imaginations were fueled with specualtion. Considering the low rate, this hotel was very satisfactory. Faucet dripped and the bathroom light blinked, but these were minor inconveniences compared with general cleanliness, courtesy and accommodation for late arrival and return of an item left behind. Would highly recommend for an efficient, no-frills stopover.

It was fine for the price. As traveling musicians we need to keep costs down as low as possible so we go home with a bit of a profit, which means we can't afford to stay in high-priced luxury hotels. The rooms definitely had some issues, such as stains on the bedspreads (although the bedspreads were clean) and the rugs weren't super cleanly vacuumed, […] but overall it was fine. Nothing so scary that we wouldn't return. In fact, we've stayed here five times over the last few years while in the area. It's comfortable and quiet and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. If you're looking for quality and luxury obviously stay somewhere else, but if you're looking to keep costs down then it's perfectly fine. I would recommend this hotel for anyone on a budget who wants to know the hotel is safe and basically clean and comfortable. They have a large comfortable room with lots of seating for the continental breakfast. The breakfast is pretty basic but at least it's there. They had cereals, french toast, bagels, muffins, and pastries, plus apples and oranges, tea and coffee. We travel a lot and have stayed in some pretty weird and scary places so, for us, this hotel is considered one of the better ones. Read more
