Great place. Really accommodated us when we had to check in so late.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
There is a $30 "insurance fee" that you have to pay when you arrive you can pay by cash or card. Cash you receive back after your stay if they room is in good condition. The card you won't get back for a couple of weeks. Also they don't clean the bathrooms as well as I would have liked.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Affordable stay for magic mt visit"
Overall it's affordable and you can't expect much more for the price, but... The pool is much smaller than the one on the picture! Internet connection was really bad. Shower curtain had a dirt stain on it. Wall had a footprint on it. Carpet was sticky when I accidentally stepped on it without shoes. Just dirt that's easy to clean if the staff actually […] cared. I don't expect it to be looking brand new but definitely cleaner than that! On the plus side, it was quiet and the clientele seemed normal. Lots of places to eat around the area. Magic mountain was super close too. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Days Inn at Castaic, CA"
Happy that we were able to reschedule the reservation. The hotel should inform guests re Six Flags schedule. We came from the park and slept overnight. We were able to get a ground floor room which is preferable because of my disability. Having the refrigerator was a big help for our child's milk. The room and bathroom was ok. Didn't get a handicapped […] bathroom though. Ice is not available for guest unless you pay for it. That is not expected. Because it is suppose to be available for guest for free. Wasn't as clean as I was hoping for. Dirty coffee pot - still had used coffee bag inside. Sink dirty, Mirror in bed area filthy Dusty and dirty furnitureGenuine Expedia guest review
Needed a room but all the newer, nicer hotels were all booked because of an activity at Six Flags. This place was 7 miles North 5 Fwy from where I wanted but they had a room. Days inn was charging same and more then the Most of the hotels in area probably cause they new they would fill up. Overall room was ok. Walls and floors very thin, I had a downstairs […] room so I could hear all the walking around above me. Location is freeway close and some restaurants close by too. I would only stay again if nothing else was available. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"I DON'T SMOKE!!!!"
We were given a smoking room. There was nothing they could have done to improve on that debacle. They had given away our "non-smoking" room. Bottom line.....I would have been more comfortable sleeping in my car. The room just simply STUNK! When I slid under the sheets to go to sleep I also realized just how stiff the mattress was as well. I felt like […] a cigarette slipping into a carton. No offense to all you smokers out there..........but DANG! Time to go ecig or something. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I am used to staying in hotels that may or may not be the best. Usually the hotel would go out of their way to make the experience better. With this hotel if I wanted better it would have been cheaper to stay at Embassy suites or Marriot one exit over. It was 64.00 for the stay even with the discount. They wanted to charge 25.00 for a roll away bed, […] 90.00 extra for 2 beds, and no non smoking rooms without the upgrade charge. Based on the area I expected better. But the staff was very nice. Maybe if the renovate the beds and carpets it would not be so bad. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Old building, run down facility. Loud group of men drinking beer on balcony above us late into night. We skipped the pitiful breakfast to go to McDonalds.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Close to Six Flags"
This hotel isn't a place I would stay more than one night at. Just uncomfortable beds, like rocks. And noisy in the morning when people are leaving. The staff were very nice and efficient.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Easy stop right off of the I5"
We got in at midnight and were able to easily get checked in and then drive over and park right in front of our room. It seemed pretty safe and the bed was comfy and pretty clean, but there was a bit of curiousness to how clean it actually was. But don't get me wrong there was nothing wrong with the room and it was quiet and easy to go to sleep.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Wouldn't stay here again"
When we first walked into the room everything looked okay until we got ready for bed..First of all the blankets were disgusting!! I flipped them over and there was yellow stains on the covers...GROSS!! I was scared to sleep on the bed. The restroom was disgusting as well..the shower curtains were dirty and looked like they were never changed from the […] 70's and ripped at the tops. The lighting wasn't very good, it seemed like blueish lighting that was giving me a headache so for the evening/night we had to keep them off. The bed was hard, I probably couldn't tell a difference than sleeping on the floor and the t.v. was outdated. The walls seemed paper thin because I could hear the neighbors children running around in the room next to us and if the t.v. wasn't on we could probably hear their conversations as well. I was very happy to check out the next morning. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Jessie was so helpfull the manager!!"
We loved this nice place fir a quick stay at Magic Mntn. Jessie referred. us to a wonderful pizza restaurant next door and also brought pool towels right to our room. "Get what you pay for"
It was so cheap there was value but the place is falling apart.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The staff were mediocre. The guy was very friendly, but still training and the girl that was training him looked like she had better things to do than serve customers. The pool was tiny and we were advised to go to the community pool next door that was free from noon to five on weekdays. Our room was shabby at best and was not properly cleaned. The […] carpet did not look like it had been vacuumed, the bathroom towels were damp, the armoir that housed the tv, fridge and microwave was falling apart and if you wanted to use the fridge or microwave you were instructed by the motel staff to plug them in with an extension cord that was behind the armoir/cabinet. The shower barely drizzled out water. The beds were comfortable. The little pool was by the office and there was an jacuzzi there as well, but it was too small for more than one couple at a time. It was dirty, as was the pool. If it wasn't so hot I would have not let my kids go swimming in it, but I went ahead and used the net to scoop out the leaves and other stuff the wind carried into it. While we were checking in there was a sticky note on one of the pamphlet holders that said, "The service here sucks!" My husband laughed about it and showed the hotel staff. They didn't seem surprised or concerned. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Close to six flags"
The Days Inn is an affordable place to stay close to six flags magic mountain. It has a swimming pool and hot tub that are kinda fun to play around in. The continental breakfast is better than fast food, but the options are limited. The beds weren't the best, but they were comfortable and the A/C was cold so that was good.Genuine Expedia guest review
Hotel was ok. Not the best. Hot tub was broken and no one cares to inform us about it. The breakfast is not big at all, small area and only served a few items, not the full continental breakfast that was expected. Would not stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent price and a convenient location"
My boyfriend and I stayed at Days Inn in Castaic for our recent Six Flags vacation. The location is ideal since it is located right next to the freeway and is about a 6 minute drive to Six Flags and some very good shopping centers/restaurants. The nightly rate was very affordable. Prior to staying at this particular Days Inn, I had read the comments […] about the beds being too hard. The beds were very firm, but it just so happens that my boyfriend and I prefer a firmer mattress. The AC unit was excellent and the room was very clean. The problems we had with our room were with the net connection (kept kicking us off the server and asking us to sign in again every 10 minutes or so), the sound insulation (I was woken up every morning by the sounds of families waking up and leaving) and our toilet became clogged on the last day of our stay. We called room service about the clogged toilet and after about 15mi, went to the front desk to see what had happened. The lady at the front desk was very nice and was surprised that no one had been by our room yet. I asked if I could just borrow a toilet plunger and she gave me one. We got the impression that the toilet in our room had been clogged on previous occasions because it kept re-clogging (I sat trying to unclog the toilet for about 15mi on our last evening). Eventually it unclogged. All in all, I would stay at this Days Inn again. It was a great deal for the price, in spite of the problems with the room. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Very convenient location"
The hotel was a convenient spot for six flags but that is all it was. The room was clean but in poor physical condition. The beds were just a hard as the floor. The toilet was clogged but they came and fixed it right away.the continental breakfast was the worst I have ever seen.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Not very comfortable and entire hotel in poor cond"
It was very inexpensive, and now I know why. The pictures online were deceiving. It was muggy in our room and had a musty smell which would not go away. The pool and spa were not appealing and I wouldn't even dip my toe in there.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Not the one"
If your use to 4 star hotels or better, then don't stay here. Not even for a quick few hours before hitting the road. You will not only be highly disappointed, but worse off. May as well, drive until you have to pull over and sleep on the side of the road.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"I wouldn't recommend"
This was probably one of the worst hotels I stayed at. When I first got there the guy at the front desk was very rude. Not to mention that he charged me an extra 30$ for my daughter to stay when I booked it for 2 adults 2 children. Children under age but still I got charged for one. Another problem I had was with the wifi. They have a password set up […] and I went like 4 times to the lobby because they kept giving me the incorrect password. Breakfast is included but they really don't have much. Other hotels provide you with a well set breakfast to start your day, not this one. The people around we're too noisy. The only good service I got was from a young ady that works there. Other than that I did not like the service or my stay there. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"You get what you pay for."
Smells like a old dirty bar. Front desk Lady was fighting with bf over phone when we checked in. Charged extra $30 cause my son was 14. Breakfast sucked, milk warm. Shower barely worked. Need new paint. Cable was fuzzy. Old cigerett butts and ashes left on air conditioner. Desk chair was broken. Carpet was faded and dirty. Two positives: easy i5 access […] and the doors locked. Was very disappointed in the motel. We booked online and thought it was in a good neighboorhood. Took our daughter to Magic Mountain all day got to the motel after 9pm. "Close to Six Flags - that is the only good thing"
The Days Inn was terrible. The dirtiest place I have ever stayed - our feet turned black just walking a few steps on the carpet. We didn't even dare to try the pool. The AC didn't work properly. The fridge hummed as loud as a plane. There were ants in our room. Breakfast was a joke. The staff asked us (a young couple) for a deposit and did not ask anyone […] else checking in for one, the staff seemed dissappointed that we asked for a receipt for this and appeared reluctant to give us the money back when we checked out. Our do not disturb sign was ignored. We did not feel safe here. Seeing as you have to drive to Six Flags anyway - you may as well stay a bit further out. Avoid this hotel. "Good for the price"
Overall it was a good place for the price. Our refrigerator worked erratically and after a 3 day stay we never got connected to the WIFI on all 4 of our devices. The signal was not strong enough I guess. When I went to the office with 2 of our devices we were able to connect to the internet perfectly, but after walking back to our room the signal would […] be lost. "Not what I thought...."
I stayed at the Days Inn when I was a kid. I thought that it would be ok staying in one on this trip. The room smelled, it was not very clean, the fridge didn't work. Actually none of the outlets in the room worked. They even left a used bottle of the shampoo for us to use. They couldn't give a new one per guest.Genuine Expedia guest review
I knew the poor rating, but we were coming in late at night, so that we could go to Six Flags Magic Mountain the following day and off to a nice Venture County inn afterwards. How bad could it be, right? The carpet had a dirty look to it that made me want to keep my shoes on. The bathroom door had a 2 cm gap between the door and frame. Made my husband […] unable to "go" while I was in the room! Apparently, they were either in the middle of changing the plumbing or had an issue. The shower knob was new, but you could see into the wall as there was nothing surrounding it. The bed was painfully hard and I like hard. Breakfast: waffles, cereal, and prepackaged danishes. I threw away the coffee and we went down the street for breakfast. Stay if you really need an inexpensive room. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"would not stay here again"
When we arrived, the first thing that we saw was mattresses, refrigerators, furniture stacked in the hotels parking spaces. The building was old and in much need of a face lift. The staff was ok. The room was dingy and we did not walk on the carpet without shoes on. There was a huge hair on the toilet seat and stains on the blankets on our beds. ( thank […] God we brought our own to uses). But I think what grossed us out the most is when we were checking in, we used the lobby bathroom which the hotel staff was also using to wash and store the cookware and utensils for the breakfast!!!! Yes, the dishes were on the bathroom sink drying, right next to the toilet. I almost threw up and told all my friends that were with us not to eat the breakfast. I'm not sure why they thought that was ok. Makes me want to throw up just thinking about it. Wow. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
My experience in this hotel was not good at all. The room was outdated and the room was in a bad condition. On top of that when we arrived they charged us extra for children who were 13 or older. It's alarming to hear that we have to plug in the frig and there was no remote in the room. On the other hand, we got one right away and the frig was plugged in. ;-) It was fine for what we wanted, a cheap hotel to land at before and after Magic Mountain.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Close to Magic Mountain"
The hotel is close to Magic Mountain but is in need of some serious renovation. The pool and spa are dirty and the room we were in had a lot of damage. There were holes in the walls and many unpainted areas not finished or the repairs were bad. The water coming out of the sink had a bad odor as well.
