This Hotel is following into pieces. It is dirty and the staff does not help...they probably do not know what to do with so many issues... "Not good but maybe improving"
I was disappointed in my stay. Most of my experiences with Days Inn motels throughout the US has been positive. This one was not good. The carpets were dirty, microwave did not work. WiFi did not work with my computer for some reason although has always worked ok before and after. Guest seat looked like someone had cut slits in it. furniture was tired […] and stained. Maybe though it is getting ready for a retrofit. I noticed a lot of the old furniture was being stored outside, so maybe some rooms had already been renovated, just not mine. The motel was sold out because of a bike tour so I guess I got a room that had not been worked on yet. Hope that is what it was. As soon as I checked in I started checking everything, the refrigerator was unplugged to save energy, there was hair all over the toilet and looked used and not wiped, there was hair on the sink. The service was decent and staff was friendly and helpful, but that's about it. The room was terrible. The beds were so so, but you expect that in a less expensive hotel. You get what you pay for. Our problem was that we forgot stuff in the room, big stuff and when we called the same day they could not find it. REALLY it was a giant sweatshirt, a pair of shorts and a cell phone. "A big disappointment"
We stayed here for one night before our day trip to Six Flags Magic Mountain. I've gotta say this was the most disappointing hotel room we stayed in. The room on first glance looked clean, but on closer inspection it really wasn't that great. The two towels we were provided had stains on them, the toilet still had little broken up pieces of soggy toilet […] paper sitting in the bottom of it which was really off-putting and made me question the degree to which the toilet had really been cleaned as well as anything else in the room. Aside from this the walls are paper thin, there are pipes that run through the walls and are extremely loud when anyone in rooms around you flush the toilet or use the shower which woke my fiance and I up a number of times during the night. We thought the price was pretty decent given what else was on offer, but it really should not have been this expensive given the condition of the hotel and the fact you still need to drive 15-20 minutes to Six Flags. I'd recommend spending an extra $10-20 and staying somewhere a bit better. The front desk staff were pleasant enough, but disinterested and really need to learn how to smile! I was disappointed that I was charged an extra $20 for an early check in. I requested an early check in when I made the reservation by phone and this fee was not mentioned. When I asked the clerk why the fee, he said it was because they had to clean the room out of order which is understandable, but the room had to be cleaned regardless of a early check […] in or not. Also, though the fan in the bathroom was pretty high, there were wires exposed at the point where they were connected so if water splashed on them, it wouldn't be good. There is a $30 "insurance fee" that you have to pay when you arrive you can pay by cash or card. Cash you receive back after your stay if they room is in good condition. "Affordable stay for magic mt visit"
Overall it's affordable and you can't expect much more for the price, but... The pool is much smaller than the one on the picture! Internet connection was really bad. Happy that we were able to reschedule the reservation. The hotel should inform guests re Six Flags schedule. We came from the park and slept overnight. We were able to get a ground floor room which is preferable because of my disability. Having the refrigerator was a big help for our child's milk. The room and bathroom was ok. We were given a smoking room. There was nothing they could have done to improve on that debacle. They had given away our "non-smoking" room.
