Not so good. My daughter and I stayed 2 nights. The hallway smelled horribly of smoke. The ceiling creaked when people walked across it. When we made the reservations it stated that the hotel had complimentary continental breakfast. When we asked about it, they said they don't have it.

Overall, very good. Bar service was a bit slow (understaffed). The hotel is a bit beat up & in need of renovation, but clean and comfortable & staff is friendly. It is midway between Minneapolis and St. Paul, and very convenient to both cities. Light rail will also pass by starting in 2014.

Not too bad wasn't the greatest but it was gd priced for what we needed. Kids like the pool. rooms were out dated as well as the hotel in general. Sauna was broke:( our door wasn't sealed so that was kinda icky.

Great comfort and privacy. We needed a dust-free and smoke free environment because we both have asthma problems, and our entire wing of the hotel was smoke free. I was not satisfied. I have never stayed at a hotel that didn't try to accomodate their guests. The hot tub was disgusting. Their was a party in the pool area and the people were very rude. Couldn't sleep because the mother of the children was yelling down the hall at 2-3 am while the kids were still running around.

When we got there we found a swim suit hanging on the back of the door In the bathroom. Then we found hair in the beds. The walls were very thin and we could hear the conversation in the room next to us and we could hear the people above us when they went to the bathroom.

We were not thrilled with the whirpool. The water level was only mid chest deep and salt water. Was over salted to the point that when we got in we were tasting salt in our mouths. We only went in once, because of that. That motel having a whirpool was the reason we wanted that motel. We are never going back to that motel again!!

I was not very happy that the toilet was not totally clean. I had to clean off the toilet seat before using it. There were stains on it, but there also were "other" things on the toilet seat. I also found an old newspaper in the room.

This Days-Inn was awful. First off, I didn't realize hotels/motels still allowed smoking. This place smelled awful. The hallways and the rooms. Our hallway in particular smelled like marijuana all night. We could not use the pool because there was a large group partying at the pool with really loud music all night. I was traveling with 2 kids and asked […] for a crib for my son. I was brought a pack n play and it was disgusting. It had stains and sticky stuff all over it. My 11 year old daughter had a headache all night from the smoke. At 11 pm I called the front desk because the room above us sounded like they were going to break through the ceiling. The person at the desk told me to wait because they had just checked in. At 2 am I called the desk again because we had been listening to the party above us (through paper thin ceiling) for hours. This time the desk person told me he would take care of it but it was 4 am before I couldn't hear the party anymore. My 11 year old (who had a cheer competition the next day) got no sleep at all and my 11 month old was up every other hour. Don't even get me started on the bar/restaurant. Everything we tried to order they didn't have. It was way more of a bar than a restaurant and the 1 person they had working that night was more concerned about the bar patrons. i like the hotel and the area the bus stop is on front of the hotel it will take you everywhere, walmart is closer and target places to eat and shop and you dont realy need a car rental because you can take the bus ,banks are closer too, inside pool and a bar and grill so you dont have to drive after you drink and greyhound is closer

This hotel is very dated. There is also a very strong musty smell as you walk the halls. They give you an actual metal key to open an outside access door which made it very difficult to hold all the luggage and open the door. Sorry, we won't be staying here again even though it is only 5 minutes from our destination.

I stayed for 5 nights, Tuesday through Saturday. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. I made use of the pool, hot tub, and spa every day and they were always clean and working. The showers in the pool area could not really be used. I ate at the restaurant 3 times, twice for breakfast and once for lunch. The food was pretty good, but the waitress […] couldn't handle the volume by herself one morning. I was going to eat there one evening, but a game was on and the place was full and there was smoke. Within walking distance, there are a couple of small groceries (no fresh food), a chinese restaurant, an excellent coffee shop (Lucy's), a few fast food restaurants, and an excellent pizza place (Checkerboard Pizza). The room was OK. The shower valve was set to disallow hot showers. The internet service in the room was a bit spotty. Sometimes it worked fine, but at other times it was very slow. Overall, nothing in the hotel put me out of my comfort zone, so I enjoyed my stay. I was attending a conference downtown. The bus transportation was dependable and well-maintained with a stop right in front of the hotel. I also took a bus and light rail to and from the airport, one way is $1.75, a lot cheaper than a taxi and nearly as convenient. Read more

Not at all what I expected. I was greeted at the front door by a drunk man. Very unsettling. He was asked to leave and finally did so reluctantly. It was hard to find, lots of road construction. I went straight to my room and triple locked my door. Definitely not what the picture portrayed!

This hotel is pretty old and very very scary. I had to change my room after one night stay in room 127 as I was horrified by ghosts and spirits or whatever it was. I would never go there again. Even my stay was o.k. after changing my room but that night it just scared me.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The pool area was nicely set up and the hot tub was hot (I hate lukewarm hot tubs). The attached bar and grill was great - the food prices were very reasonable and the atmosphere was pleasant. The hotel location was great with many things to do within a short distance.

The lighting for the overall hotel isn't very good. Most of the hallways are not fully lit, also the walls are way to thin. You can hear everything in other rooms and in the hallway. ALSO before you turn on your TV cover your ears, the default channel is set to STATIC and the remote will not work until you go up to the tv and change the channel manually. The hotel itself is decent for the price. The room was clean and in decent condition. The staff was very helpful: when we were checking in, the manager (I didn't get his name) volunteered to take someone down the street to recharge their credit card. It was o.k. but the second day they had to move me into another room, due to stepping in soaking carpet by the air conditioner. They said it was condensation that should of been going out instead of dripping in, and they had to prop the unit up. Also the shower head adjustments did not work, therefore, I just had a trickle that first night. Also, I […] called room service one night and she said she was too busy to respond. The food comes from an attached bar and restaurant. I also had to request hair conditioner as both days were missing it and just the shampoo was there. Also, if I would of known from Hotels.com that they don't have refrigerators, I wouldn't of stayed there. Front desk offered to store my expensive medicine that should be refrigerated, but I didn't want to trust it. Bottom line, you get what you pay for. Neighborhood was questionable, but was convenient for our trip and near the location we needed to be. Hallways were smelly, but room was okay. Carpet was stained.
