People in the front dest are really rude. Although it's not $100 hotel, at least I expect $40 service, which the service is worse than $30 hotel. Only one light could be turned on in the room, towels were dirty, I don't even want to start with the smell of the room. There's no elevator in the hotel, so if you carry a big luggage, enjoy it. The suttle driver gave my luggage away to a wrong group of people, so we had to drive back to find my luggage. Overall, it was awful.

If you need to be near the airport, and have plans for nothing else, then this locations is fine. The neighborhood is bleak, and traffic to and from the hotel on either 826 or 112-95 can be harrowing...especially during rush hours. Nevertheless, there is a bar and cafe at the hotel for your convenience. A well-stocked Valero service stations is just across the street. Our room was way in the back and was clean. A few of us were not tired at all so we took advantage of the hotel bar right off the lobby. If you like your drinks strong, then this is the place for you! The shuttle to the port leaves at a few different times in the morning, we left right at 11am. We had a total of 6 of us in 2 different rooms. If just using this place as a layover for transfers then I would recommend it!

This hotel is the Days Inn. It is not the Ritz Carlton. Remember that when booking. It's not fancy. But, it is convenient and clean. Being so close to the airport, you will be in the flight path and you will hear the jets fly by until about midnight and starting again around 6 am. There is a restaurant and a bar in the hotel. There is a Subway next door and a gas station convenience store open 24 hours across the street. The hotel will provide free toiletries if you have forgotten anything. If you are not taking a cruise, I would NOT recommend this hotel. But, if you are taking a cruise, this is a GREAT option. The hotel is inexpensive, yet clean and comfortable. They offer complimentary pick up from the airport and complimentary shuttle to the cruise port in the morning. This is a definite PLUS. Remember to ask the clerk for the cruise port shuttle book so that you can sign up when you chek in. The best thing about this hotel is that it is inexpensive and convenient for cruisers. There is no real benefit to stay there for non-cruisers.

The TV only got NEWS chanels. Not great lighting in the room. Enjoyed the patio chairs/tables/umbrellas by the pool - nice relaxing atmosphere - uuummm except for the JET LINERS flying above us. BUT REMEMBER THIS HOTEL IS AT THE END OF A RUN WAY ... we kind of got used to the airplane noise. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND the Hotel Cafe - VERY EXPENSIVE!!!!! If you go left outside the hotel, you will come to a fantastic Greek Diner 2 blocks down. FANTASTIC great quality food, and very friendly service. We heard there was an IHOP & a few other restaurants in the other direction. The bed was not too bad - could have been a little firmer. THE FREE SHUTTLE from THE AIRPORT AND FREE SHUTTLE to PORT OF MIAMI WAS AN AWESOME DEAL!!!!!!! What a fantastic improvement from 4 years ago.

For example, the most annoying things were that the hotel room door had an inch of spacing underneath it. This allowed mosquitoes to come into the room. They needed to add door sweepers on all of their doors. The only bright spots for this hotel is proximity tot he airport and the fact they have a microwave and a working refrigerator in the room. My husband and I did not have great expectations for this hotel considering the rate of the room for a night lodging prior to cruising out of the Miami port the night before. We stayed at this hotel several years ago with our family prior to an am cruise departure. The lure was the "transportation from the airport and to the port dock" inclusive in the nights lodging fee. This hotel is in dire need of update and repair. It does not meet the poorest standard for cleanliness and I could not help but notice the sticky surfaces of the bedside tables. The bathroom was mold ridden and had hair (from the previous tenants private area to put it delicately) on several surfaces. When we called (3 times from the airport) at a late hour for pick up to the hotel, it still averaged the pick up personnel over 45 minutes to arrive and the hotel is only 3 miles from the airport! The driver was obviously distressed from our repeated calls as he did not acknowledge us personally and proceeded to drive, uninhibited with deliberate road rage. I hope that Hotels.com removes this hotel from any listing and makes NO recommendation to the consumer. The price of the hotel is not worth the transportation to the airport/miami port...spend a few more bucks and feel like its okay to sleep on the hotel sheets!!

I didn't expect too much from this hotel and I'm not real picky, and even then my expectations weren't met. The room was dirty and the bed wasn't comfortable enough to sleep through the night. There were ants all over the bathroom. On the positive side, the free shuttle from the airport and then to the Port of Miami was helpful, although quite a bit late. The sign up sheet for the shuttle is first-come, first-served, so if you arrive late, you'll be on the last shuttle (about 1:00). Luckily, somebody cancelled their 11:00 shuttle so we go on that one. It would have been worth an extra bit of money to stay someplace a little nicer and pay cab fare to the Port. I would definitely not recommend this hotel.

I booked a night at this hotel because i missed a flight home to savannah, coming through customs in miami (after a trip to honduras for 3 days). it was cheap, and closeby, and after traveling through mexico and honduras, no hotel could possibly be as bad as those. the hotel itself was perfectly fine, clean room, hot shower, which was all i needed since i landed at 9pm and had to fly out the next morning at 6am. i packed everything before i went to bed, but somehow, i still managed to lose my camera in the hotel room. i realized it at about 11am and called the hotel. they found my camera, said they would ship it to me, but it is now 35 days since they supposedly mailed it, and i still do not have it i got 3 or 4 different stories about who had it, who mailed it and when, i was finally told after 3 weeks there was a tracking number and i would get it the following day (i had already been calling trying to figure out how they sent it ) the next day i call and they tell me there was no tracking number, but it was mailed 3 days prior.... wait 5 more days and still no camera, i call back and they finally fax me a receipt, the only "proof" that something was mailed, but it was not mailed COD, like most hotels do, nor was there a tracking number. maybe this was a misfortunate incident, and they really did mail my camera to me, but i have a really hard time believing that when they can't keep their story straight, and my camera passed through at least 4 people before it was supposedly mailed, and in case of a situation like this, why would they not prove beyond a doubt that they mailed my personal property to me, and it left their hands? they paid $2 out of pocket with cash, apparently they always pay for shipping, but wouldn't pay the extra 73 cents to track something that would obviously be so valuable to me. i dont even care about the camera, i want the pictures back, which are irreplaceable

This place is terrible. I would not recommend anyone stay here. First of all, the rooms are not enclosed meaning that your hotel room door lead to an exterior environment. Secondly, the room was dusty, after being in the room less then a minute I started hacking and coughing due to the poor air quality in the room. Next the room exterior door was not sealed properly. Once I turn off all the light inside, outside light started to filter into the room. And to top it off I heard everything our neighbors did. In one room next to us it sounded like a bear was hibernating, I mean this guy was snoring so LOUD I thought a plane was flying over our heads, which you can hear that too but I expected that. In the other room, I over heard a man coughing and hacking all night as he was having trouble breathing as well. Any vehicle moving about I hear that as well, and I didn't even think about taking a shower the next morning. The towels and face rags look like car drying towels you use to clean your car with. The only good thing about our stay is that it was only for a couple hours as we needed to laid our heads somewhere until our next flight. In my sleepless night here, all I was thinking about is that I couldn't wait until our next flight. I will never stay here again.
