"Times Square Nugget"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 6, 2012
We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed for a week and were glad to find a hotel right in the heart of Times Square. The service was definitely top notch! The front desk was courteous and the concierge was very helpful, recommending great shows and restaurants. Our room was nice. It could've been a little larger. But the bathroom was a good size and the size of the TV's and the fact that they played HD was a bonus. Also, the bed was quite comfortable. The cleaning staff did a fine job of keeping up the room. I'll definitely recommend this hotel to others.
"Consistency. You can depend on it."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Finding a "GOOD THING" these days can get harder and harder. For this reason when you come across a 'good thing" it is priceless. One of the most recent "good things " that I have come across is the PARAMOUNT hotel in Times Square. The first thing that I leave the hotel impressed by is the professionalism and commitment that is demonstrated by the staff. Starting with the front desk where I was checked in by Catherine and continuing until the driver which I received at the hotel hands me my luggage at the airport. Catherine followed the details of my visit until the moment I checked out. The only dislike that I had which eventually i got over was the view of the alley where the boiler or some loud machine was placed. I know that from now on I will request a room that faces anywhere but there. If you are going to New York and plan on taking in Broadway there could not be a more perfect location. I love this hotel so much I find myself wanting to travel to NYC more. I cannot wait until my next visit to the PARAMOUNT which I hope will be in the next few weeks.
"Another Good Experience"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
My wife and I have stayed at the Courtyard in Mahwah three of the last four years to attend the NEAF astronomy show at the Rockland Community College in Suffern, just a few minutes away. We've always had good a experience and this stay was no different. The recent renovations definitely spruced the hotel up. The pool and spa area was nice, although the acoustics in the room left my ears ringing after a group of children in the pool were not using their "indoor voices." Our room was very clean, everything worked well, including the internet connection (which is a wired connection) and having a Dunkin Donuts right next door makes a stay here worthwhile in my humble opinion! Just grab a coffee and a bagel sandwich and go. The rates are competitive with other hotels in the area. If someone on here rates the hotel low, they must be comparing it to a five-star city hotel or maybe a destination resort. It's not that, but it is a clean and decent place to stay while traveling for business or short-term pleasure. I believe we will stay there again next year.

Comfy and Cozy. I love Marriott Hotels. They are always clean and nicely done. The conveniences at the hotel were perfect. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are spacious and clean. Thank you for a very nice stay.

very confortable, clean and cozy...feel like home
The staff was very pleasant and helpful. They were able to utilize the large interactive map and information board in the lobby to help me plan my travels. The lobby computers kept me connected with my business needs, as well. I was very satisfied with my stay.
I am not a coffee drinker and wish hotels would put a hot pot and some tea bags in the rooms. This is discrimination against tea drinkers!

"Marriot Courtyard-whippany"
Arrived late and tired with a handicapped wife who does not walk well. The desk person helped with my request to give me a room close to elevator however elevator is not in lobby but 1/2 way down hall running length of building, a long walk and a great inconvenience to a handicapped person. In the morning the elevator was not working and my wife had […] to use stairs to get to lobby. The restaurant was undergoing renovations and so regular breakfasts were unavailable, a complimentary buffet breakfast was offered, all items save toast were cold.. A maintenance worker had made a temporary fix to elevator and got us up and down to check out. The effort made to make up for elevator and breakfast service was ok but I think the elevator location is terrible and with a problem poses an unacceptable inconvenience. Perhaps when a facility is undergoing renovation it should be noted on the web page so it can be considered when selecting a stay. Read more

"Courtyard Marriott - Rt. 10 Hanover, NJ"
I stayed on 1st floor room #150 and the room had a musty smell. The air conditioning unit was also not working properly - air did not stay on with any consistency and the room was more warm than cool. The refrigerator door was broken and would not close so was of no use to me at all. The hotel staff were very nice and accomodating.
My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights and we were satisfied clean, quite, and affordable.
"convenient, clean, comfortable"
Simple, no frills hotel, but it has all you need for a weekend stay if you're traveling for buisness. Most importantly, rooms were clean and well maintained. Really appreciated the free Wi-fi.

"Low end Marriott"
This hotel has to be the worst property in the Marriott stable. i had room 226. The wall paper was peeling off the walls in the room and in the bath room. The screen on the sliding door to the lanai was ripped and frame was off the track and would not slide. Only one out of the two on the desk lamp worked. I the sink area only one outlet on the wall […] worked. The other outlet would trip the GFI as soon as anything was plugged into it. Breakfast is $12.00. The only way to exit the hotel by car is on to a one way street. The closest U-turn is 1 mile to the east. I will pick a new hotel next time. Read more

"Decent Price, but nothing special"
I really thought I read that the hotel had a lounge, room service, etc. Bar consisted of a few beers in a bucket of ice. I didn't try the buffet, because I couldn't justify the thirteen bucks for soggy eggs and make your own waffles.

"Well...."
This was very disappointing. The Hotel was clean and has nice services but the thing is that the people ther are cheap you will c wat i mean if u go there the place doesnt meet my expectation... the pool was great and so was the Jacuzzi...
"Unwelcomed Experience."
The front desk clerks handed me my room key with no directions as to where the room was located.
"Great room for the money"
My husband and I were very impressed with the hotel and the rate we received on hotels.com. The hotel has a very nice pool and jacuzzi available to guests with great hours of operation. The snack center was also great. Good variety of sandwiches and other items. The room was clean and quiet. I would recommend this hotel to others.
