Brandon is a residential suburb that lies east of downtown. Nearby, blue-ribbon agriculture is on display annually at the Florida State Fairgrounds. South of Brandon in Apollo Beach, manatees flock by a waterside power plant when the water temperature cools. The aquatic mammals are best seen at Tampa Electric’s Manatee Viewing Center, which is also a haven for butterflies and birds.

The hotel staff was friendly, the rooms were excellent, the swimming pool and whirlpool was very clean and the bistro cafe had an excellent breakfast at reasonable prices. The area is very nice, a great little pizza shop is minutes away and very close to the interstate. We were traveling with a baby and the hotel was a perfect fit! Only one complaint […] was that our room was next to the elevator so we could hear the elevator in use. Although it was a very quiet elevator. Short and Sweet. We stayed for a week during Thanksgiving, my wife and our 9yr old. Convenient to interstate, clean rooms, very friendly staff....no worries. I would definitely stay again.

The hotel itself was great, although I wasn't very happy with the location. The hotel was in a dead end, and as a young female traveling alone I did not feel safe. I stopped here as an overnight on my drive from NY, moving to FL. My car was packed full, and I was worried that my car was not safe in this secluded lot. There weren't very many food options […] around the hotel. I wound up at McDonalds, which was not what I was hoping for after 3 days on the road. The only negative that I had about the hotel was a very odd odor on the second floor. My room itself had no foul odors, but the hallway was putrid. Read more

We monitor our parking lot every night, ensure all of our security lights work properly on a daily basis, maintain a great working relationship with the local authorities both fire and police which have stations within in a three minute drive of the hotel. Our staff completes yearly training to help identify any situations or suspicious persons and to prevent any issues before they happen. Since your stay we have also replaced the air conditioning until that was causing the issues in our second floor hallway. We are always trying to improve our hotel and comments like yours help us identify problem areas and provide solutions as soon as possible. The hotel was great. We originally booked a king suite, but when I got to the room, I realized there was no balcony. I called down front and asked if we could switch, they said no problem. I ended up with a double, but there was no extra charge. I loved this hotel because it has an indoor pool and the kids loved it!!
