We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed for a week and were glad to find a hotel right in the heart of Times Square. The service was definitely top notch! The front desk was courteous and the concierge was very helpful, recommending great shows and restaurants. Our room was nice. It could've been a little larger. But the bathroom was a good size and the size of the TV's and the fact that they played HD was a bonus. Also, the bed was quite comfortable. The cleaning staff did a fine job of keeping up the room. I'll definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Finding a "GOOD THING" these days can get harder and harder. For this reason when you come across a 'good thing" it is priceless. One of the most recent "good things " that I have come across is the PARAMOUNT hotel in Times Square. The first thing that I leave the hotel impressed by is the professionalism and commitment that is demonstrated by the staff. Starting with the front desk where I was checked in by Catherine and continuing until the driver which I received at the hotel hands me my luggage at the airport. Catherine followed the details of my visit until the moment I checked out. The only dislike that I had which eventually i got over was the view of the alley where the boiler or some loud machine was placed. I know that from now on I will request a room that faces anywhere but there. If you are going to New York and plan on taking in Broadway there could not be a more perfect location. I love this hotel so much I find myself wanting to travel to NYC more. I cannot wait until my next visit to the PARAMOUNT which I hope will be in the next few weeks.

Very nice hotel, within walking distance to subway for access to Manhattan (take the 7 or E and you can get to grand central, times square, penn station). Just a few blocks to local restaraunts. The room was very clean, excellent staff, free shuttle to subway. Overall an excellent place to stay if your touring new york city. One note, if you are considering a "view room" save your money, the view is obstructed by a number of taller buildings (the hotel is only 7 floors). Overall an excellent experience and I would definitely stay again, especially at the rate because of the new hotel discount. If you plan to take a cab from the hotel call one yourself because the service the hotel uses charges a flat rate to specific areas and you can get a cab on your own for cheaper generally.

Very nice hotel in the theatre district. Friendly and helpful staff. Basic room accomodations but very clean. Would recommend.
If shopping is your bag, you'll find Fifth Avenue's boutiques and flagship stores within a 15-minute walk of Courtyard by Marriott. Join the ladies who lunch at sophisticated Bergdorf Goodman, then cross the street and unleash your inner child at the world-famous FAO Schwarz toy store. Need a breath of fresh air? Central Park is just 1 block farther. In the evening, the theaters of Broadway and Times Square are a short taxi or subway ride from the hotel.

Above all we really satisfied and happy we stayed at your hotel..for a family of five we had a big room/space ,clean, very comfortable and our kids have plenty of room to run and play, has a good quality service and friendly staff...really good location and within minutes to time square , 5th ave. were all the shopping area located, rockeffeler,etc...u […] dont have to worry of parking coz they have their own garage (valet parking)...close also to stores and restaurants if u doesnt want to eat breakfast at the hotel....VERY SATISFIED AND WE LOVE STAYING IN COURTYARD BY MARRIOT NEW YORK CITY MANHATTAN MIDTOWN EAST..definetely go back to stay....I will recommend to everybody ..... This hotel is in Midtown East-- within walking distance to Rockefeller Plaza, MoMA, 5th Avenue, and Central Park, and very close to a subway station. It was very convenient to almost all the things we wanted to do. In addition, we drove into the city, and the location was actually surprisingly easy to access from FDR Boulevard-- a bonus if you're not […] used to driving in Manhattan but need to drive in to the hotel. The neighborhood was more commercial than residential, but there were lots of nearby restaurants and drug stores for sundries, and it felt generally safe and clean. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and we were able to check in early and leave our bags at the bellhop desk after checkout for no additional fee. There was also free wireless/ wi-fi, which was a huge asset in planning our days/ meals. It did take a while to get our vehicle from their off-site valet parking, but that is my only service complaint, and it's a minor one. (There was no problem parking our minivan, by the way-- apparently that's an issue at other places.) The room had 2 queen beds (not full or 'double' beds, which really makes a difference when you're sharing!) and a pull-out couch, and our family of 5 was quite comfortable for 3 days. Everything was clean, fresh, and well-maintained. We did not try the breakfast but preferred to eat locally. There is not much of a lobby, but there is a concierge and a bellhop, and they had cookies and tea in the afternoon. There's no restaurant or bar for meals other than breakfast (but I think one can order room service from a nearby chain steakhouse... we didn't try this). Again, the neighborhood had plentiful options, including everything from takeout to fine dining, within walking distance. Overall, I thought this hotel was an outstanding value for the money. We enjoyed this hotel. The room was extremely large, especially for New York, and the beds were very comfortable. The room was clean, which was evident when I checked very carefully for bed bugs. I didn't see any signs. We had a room on the 17th floor and heard little noise from the street. Even though we had a room that connected with another, we weren't […] disturbed by noise in the other room, which has been a problem in other hotels. All of the employees were extremely friendly and accomodating. We liked the location, close to Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick's, and 5th Avenue, with a subway stop in the same block. My only complaint was that we booked a room for 2 adults and 3 kids and got a room with just two queen sized beds. This could be because we arrived a bit late. The Good things: The hotel is conviently located in NY. The Valet Service is effcient. The Room was nicely clean, and had a decent view of the city. The Not So Good: When checking in, the front desk person was not very helpful. Nevertheless, at the time of checking out another front desk person was very diligent and nice. We absolutely loved this hotel because the mattresses were not too soft and evely firm to the edges. The lines were soft, too! At night, the fan made the most pleasant humming sound all night long - the perfect white noise for my family. The room slept 5 comfortably since the couch pulled out for my teenage son (mu husband and I split the younger ones […] into the queens). Arrived before check-in and had rooms ready for us. Rooms were a good size for metropolitan hotel. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Waiting for the elevators was not an issue. Location is not in midtown, but close enough to Central Park and Rockefeller Center for a person that doesn't mind a little walk. I loved this place. The staff were very friendly and cared about their guest. The cafe on the 12th floor perfect ! The room was clean and kept clean. The only thing negative is the sheets are a little small for the beds.

"Great family hotel in NY"
Tough to find a place in NYC with room for 2 adults, 2 older kids and a youngster but this one fit nicely. Friendly staff, clean, 1/2 block from subway line 6 station. No restaurant etc. but works great for us as a place to stay and launch from. Ess-a-bagel down the street on 3rd is a classic bagel place, by the way.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel and our room were very clean. There's a subway entrance within 100ft of the hotel, but its not access to a line that is used for going up or downtown. To get uptown or downtown from the hotel you will need to a walk a couple of blocks. This was our first time in NYC and we couldn't have been happier about our hotel choice. The rooms were large w/ 2 queen beds and pull out sofa. The staff was cheerful and very helpful. The location is very convenient - subway stop half a block away and lots of places to eat/shop in a safe area. "Extreme clean"
Many times I notice that corners are not clean, not so this hotel! Every surface was clean, even under the sink in the far corners. The beds were very comfortable. Location was excllent. Service personnel were all very helpful. If we go back we will return to this hotel

"Courtyard Midtown Manhattan-convenient/comfortable"
The location was very convenient to the subway and most sights were in walking distance. Staff was very helpful and pleasant.
"Clean Room, Courteous Staff"
The hotel check-in staff was very courteous, as were the security staff whose presence was visible in the lobby and the entrance. There was more than one elevator. An ice machine and soft drink vending machine were easily visible when I got off the elevator. But I realized later I didn't need to pay the jacked up vending machine price. Downstairs there […] is a large, reasonably priced pharmacy that is well-known and all over New York City. The hotel is a block away from the Citigroup Building. I enjoyed free internet (I used wired); the Colurtyard includes free wired and wireless. The only picky things I found were that that the windows go behind the wall a couple of feed, but the room darkening curtains do not, so they don't totally block out the city lights or the sunlight which streams in from behind the walls on both sides and behind a column in the middle of the windows. The remote worked, but not well, and the TV was a CRT not a flat screen LED, plasma or LCD. The floor I stayed on was quiet, the rate was great, the room was clean and comfortable with plenty of drawer space, a spacious desk, and a nice size by New York standards. Read more
"Perfect location for everything"
This was my first trip to Manhatten in over 15 years. I have some medcial issues, therefore causing me anxiety if the need arose to have to return to the hotel during a shopping quest. Everything was smooth and it was perfectly located for shopping and Time Square, etc.

Compared to the other hotels around this area, the price is hard to beat. Other than the "welcome", everything else was great. The other clerks at the front were always very helpful hailing cabs for us and giving directions. The room itself was very comfortable and internet access was available. "Lovely big rooms"
Delighted with our stay. Wedding at St Patrick's cathedral was very convenient. Personnel couldn't have been nicer. Immaculate rm. Breakfast rm. had a great view. Breakfast wasn;t included due to rm price but we had a lovely brunch and our server was very nice and helpful.

"Don't Bother Staying Anywhere Else"
This hotel is incredible. The rooms are HUGE, and that is by normal standards, they are even better in comparison to the size of New York City hotel rooms. We were given no trouble about checking in 6 hours before the scheduled "check-in" time which was absolutely wonderful. The staff at the front desk, housekeeping, and concierge were absolutely a […] pleasure. The room was furnished beautifully, the bathrooms were huge, and everything was spotless. We returned late at night to the hotel during our stay and were pleasantly asked to show our room key when entering the building, which pleased me greatly and made me feel very safe. We had no problems getting taxis in front of the hotel, and had no trouble walking many places. It was an easy trip to and from LaGuardia Airport, about seventeen dollars each way in a taxi. I stay at hotels quite frequently and this hotel was much more than I expected and much bigger than the pictures portrayed. Everyone was friendly and helpful and I enjoyed my stay there immensely. It was absolutely beautiful and I would recommend it to anyone with great confidence. Read more
