We were disappointed that breakfast was not included in the price of the room. Any of the chain hotels we normally stay at offer breakfast. We had a great stay; the lobby and surrounds were newly decorated with nice furniture and art. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Our only issue is that the walls are paper-thin and we could hear everything that our neighbors were saying in the rooms next-door. We waited for almost half an hour to check in, and weren't even acknowledged as we stood in line with our bags. Upon entering the pool area, we were told we needed wristbands to use the pool, which we should have been given upon check-in. During the time we were at the pool (after finally getting wristbands) we noticed at least ten other people without […] wristbands. People were also swimming in jeans and regular street clothes. They were loud and screaming and swearing, and no one said a word to them. There were no towels. There was also hair and other stuff floating around the pool....so incredibly nasty. At eleven at night, there was screaming and yelling in the hallway, and children running up and down the halls. It continued for so long and escalated to the point where I called the front desk. I was told they were being evacuated, but it continued for another half hour. Ugh. Upon check out, there was no one at the front desk. I was writing our room number on our key and leaving it when someone came over from the "Bistro" where they said they had to help out because they were short staffed. I told her of my disappointment, but she seemed unconcerned and vaguely mentioned passing my comments along to a manager. Read more

The position of Bed and TV made no sense. it was old and had a damp smell in its lobby. the only good thing was i was easier to book and cheaper than other courtyard mariotts but the standard of other mariotts were much better than this one.

This hotel was undergoing renovations...which is OK, but several of us, myself included, got flat tires in their parking lot. Seems like the construction crew isn't doing a very good job of keeping their garbage contained.

There was no hair dryer in the room. That's something I see in every other hotel chain I've stayed in. My wife didnt bring a hairdryer because there is always one in the room. The coffee mugs by the room's coffee pot were not clean either day. We used the glasses by the ice bucket instead. There was no local sports channel. ie. I'm not usually terribly picky about hotels but I really didn't like this place. The walls are paper-thin, the bed is really uncomfortable (you can feel the springs), and the pillows are a lumpy mess. My heat was not working the first night, I woke up freezing cold at 3 AM. The walls were paper thin and the hallway doors have large gaps at the bottom making any and every noise in the hallway come straight into the room. The mattress was reasonably comfortable, but the pillows were tiny and very uncomfortable. The comforter was extremely light which, when mixed with a heating system that was inconsistent at best (in multiple […] rooms), made for a really cold sleeping experience. Lastly, despite the indications on the hotel's website and on hotels.com, there was no in-room wifi, only wired access with a short cord and an odd desk. At least it was free... I was very impressed with the service and appearance of the hotel. I was satisfied with the breakfast and service there as well. The only thing that makes me not recommend the hotel is that the walls are paper thin. We heard every conversation, curtain pull, door shutting in the rooms on either side of us. Nice, clean hotel. Comfortable bed and linens. Shower pressure was poor, and flat screen tv had a problem with the picture we couldn't figure out how to fix, but otherwise it was fine. The staff and the hotel were fine, however, the internet didnt work, they never replaced any shampoo, soap, etc and there was a plastic ring from a milk jug on the floor in the hallway my whole stay. The worst part is that I suspect that the sheets were not changed prior to my arrival. I didnt notice this until the AM when I looked at the other bed […] also. So I took the sheets and threw them on the floor. I believe the same sheets were put back on my bed. So either they dont replace the sheets or the sheets they do replace with are wrinkled and appear to have been used. Read more

The room was very comfortable and clean. Stayed at this location because of a function scheduled for the week-end. Housekeeping decided to clean public restrooms at the same time as over 50 women were served their lunch and would not let anyone use the facilities. Many people were using computers and staff did not want to share access to "free" internet […] with more than one person to conference room. Room capacity may be rated at 45 people, but could not accomodate 25 people with all of their scrapbooking supplies and need of more space than was allotted. If another scrapbook function is scheduled at this location, based on comments from attendees, there will be no one there. Read more

There were a few urgent needs I had during my stay -- business related and one regarding noise in the next room. Everything was taken care of so quickly and professionally it was unbelievable. These folks know what business they are in. Gosh, staff makes all the difference in a hotel.
