Great Room, Staff Worked Hard, it will be great when the Lobby Renovation is finished . . .Genuine Hotels.com guest review
clean, comfortable room. a healthy walk to the national mall, but only a few blocks from a metro stop. several good restaurants within walking distance. hotel restaurant is good, but spendy. our room had a terrible view, very close to the next building. no problem for us though - we weren't there to sit in the room anyway.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"This hotel is great"
Was my first time here and I was scare. The Hotel is nice... great location(Embassy row area), good service, the room was confor, two blcoks fron the metro station.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
parking was the only issue. needed to pay per day for valet parking. no choice other than trying to find parking on the street.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent service - best hotel manager in DC!"
The hotel manager bent over backwards to make sure we could settle in comfortably. The hotel parking was full so he was helping get cars to the nearest available parking garage - he practically walked my husband to the garage entrance to make sure he navigated the one-way streets correctly. A quick request for a couple more towels was followed up within […] a couple of minutes with a stack and extra shampoo and soap, by the manager himself. The room was clean and the price was great, two blocks from National Geographic and four from the metro, many excellent restaurants nearby. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Everything about the hotel was great. Would book again anytime. One small complaint: room did not get enough t.v. channels.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Marriott Courtyard DC"
The hotel was clean and the staff was pleasant. However there were few amenities in the hotel itself. I had to search each morning for a newspaper. Food availability was limited also.. There were two chairs in my room, and neither was comfortable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean, Comfortable, Excellent Service"
My daughter was moving into 1500 Mass. Apartments, next door, and needed cheap labor (aka Dad). Marriott Courtyard Embassy Row was very well located. The Front Desk folks were all extremely pleasant and helpful. See you again soon.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We stay here most times we are in DC, and even though there was construction going on inside and out, we had a very pleasant stay and will most likely stay here again when we are back in DC.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close enough for healthy walk to national mall"
Room was clean and roomy; restaurant/bar was comfortable; front desk service was excellent.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Spacious rooms and our 8 and 10 year olds had a great time in the pool. Walked to Old Post Office Pavillion and Smithsonians. Staff was very helpful!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great hotel and attentive staff"
My family and I just got back from a wonderful weekend stay. Our room was ready early as requested and very clean. The indoor pool was a little small but very warm. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They hailed us taxicabs and gave great metro directions. The breakfast in the restaurant was delicious. Very close to the White House and not too […] far from the mall. I definitely recommend and plan on going back to this hotel again next year. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"DC Pleasure Trip!"
The room, pool and hot tub were great! Very good location, close enough to walk to the white house. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, we would stay there again!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Easy walk to Metro line, Dupont Circle, museums"
The coffee machine in the lobby was nice, but I couldn't get the coffee as strong as I like, and this Courtyard doesn't have a free breakfast. Overall, for the price and location, it's hard to complain.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Overly Priced - great stay!"
Great staff and service from the friendly staff - they are eager to help and make you to feel safe.Genuine Expedia guest review
THEY HAVE NO SHUTTLE SERVICE...............OTHER THAN THAT, VERY NICEGenuine Expedia guest review
Nice accomodations. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very nice fitness facility, however the pool is VERY small and can't be used for swimming laps or used at all if other people are using it. The Nage restaurant in the hotel is nice, although expedia made it sound like the hotel had breakfast but really they just gave us coupons to use in the restaurant. […] Only complaint, and this is not about the hotel per se is that it is not very close to a METRO station and a very long walk to the National Mall and museums. If you don't like to walk, or can't, be prepared to spend quite a bit on cabs. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The staff were courteous and helpful, clean room great bed and the location was perfect for my needs.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Location location location"
Not far from the mall. Walking distance to bars and restaurants in DuPont Circle. Short cab ride to Adams Morgan. Metro close by. Good for couples, friends, probably too much going on for families with young kids.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Courtyard Marriott on Rhode Island Avenue in DC"
It was a beautiful hotel, very clean and the front desk was extremely nice and helpful. Biggest drawback is that they don't advertise that their valet parking is not free, and it was really expensive. If they're going to charge for valet parking, they need to let their customers know.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Couryard Marriott Rhode Island Ave"
Hotel is in a safe part of DC and is about a 10 minute walk to the Farragut North Metro stop - it's a really easy walk. The staff was courteous, room was clean, and the 24-hour tea/coffee station is a bonus! The only negative comment I could think of is that the comforter was quite thin. Overall, a nice hotel which I will try to stay at again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"not a great experience"
The sink had a mildewy smell that was very overpowering every time I used it. It was on a busy circle in an area without a lot of restaurants nearby. I was overcharged at the hotel restaurant. The website specified that the rooms had jetted tubs, but the desk clerk told me they had no jetted tubs. We had reserved a "Deluxe King Sized Bed Room". When […] we got there, they told us they had only a king sized bed handicapped room with a low shower, or a room with 2 queens. It did not feel like a three star hotel. Valet parking is extremely expensive. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

this Hotel have a Good LocationGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I thought the price was pretty good for the location, but I didn't expect everything to be in shipshape like it turned out to be. The self-serve cappucino machine was the icing on the cake.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I cannot say enough positive things about my stay at this hotel! The staff was extremely helpful over the phone in my conversations leading up to my stay there, as well as while I stayed in the hotel. Several times they went out of their way to look out for the safety of our group (young women celebrating a bachelorette party!) and called cabs for us […] while we waited inside the lobby. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to vacation in DC or for "staycations" like mine! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice reasonable hotel"
Everything is nice. I don't expect much more than I need from a hotel. But it's clean, short walk to Dupont circle and several bars/clubs at the neighborhood. The restaurant inside is kind of strange or maybe it's me :) I wanted to eat something around 3 PM and it was already closed for lunch. Then came to eat something at 10 PM and it was already […] closed for dinner :) But it's not a problem. There's Beacon hotel across the street which has pretty delicious food. Pool and gym are very small. Just don't expect much from it. Personnel very polite. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Courtyard by Marriott Washington DC Embassey Row"
Lovely staff at check in, my grandson thoroughly enjoyed the pool and staff were very nice to him, too. Very convenient for my business in DC and my husband and grandson to see the sites which were very familiar since my husband was born in DC. Thanks very much for a lovely 2 night stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Hotel walking distance to dupont circle"
This was a great hotel expecially to the distance from the hotel room to Dupont Circle. My one issue is better be sure you understand the room you book with expedia since the room was not what I booked. However i have nothing bad to say about the hotel since they helped with the stay....Genuine Expedia guest review
The Marriott was perfectly located between Dupont Circle and the White House! The surrounding neighborhood seemed safe and lots of people out enjoying the restaurants and shops. Would stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good value, great location."
We stayed here over Memorial Day weekend while in DC for a wedding. The hotel is conveniently located near downtown, and its proximity to a metro made it easy to get around. The staff were friendly, the room and bathroom were clean, and the coffee maker in the lobby is a definite bonus. Cons: since there were three of us and no double rooms were available, […] we had to get a cot, which was VERY uncomfortable. I woke up with coil marks in my back. Also, the soundproofing is not good. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not for young kids"
The hotel itself is fine but it is not for young kids. The resturant is not for young kids. We brought two kids under the age of 5, it was not accomidating. The last night, one of our kids through up on the bed. We called for cleaning. We stayed awake for over one hour waiting. They never showed up. On the positive side, the people at the counter was […] nice, location was good (if you have good walking shoes). Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
great customer service; great location close to DuPont Circle and walk to National Mall. Negatives would be pool located in a basement area; room was small; and coffee machine in lobby often crowded or broken.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good option for the price"
Hotel was clean and quiet. The restaurant downstairs is spendy, but convenient. The staff allowed us to check in an hour early and was able to make arrangements to take us to the airport in the morning.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Affordable hotel near sites and restaurants"
Courtyard provided a very clean and attractive room at Scott Circle just blocks from the White House and Dupont Circle. Adequate street parking on a holiday weekend meant I didn't have to pay to park my car. Several nice restaurants were within walking distance. A metro stop was a few blocks away. The coffee machine in the lobby allowed numerous choices. […] The hotel restaurant had good reviews and was classified as upscale. Unfortunately, the crowd in the room next door partied (wrestled?) until 5 a.m. and it was very noticeable. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great value, great service"
Just got back from a 3 night stay here. Great location, can walk to most major attractions downtown and around the mall. Service was very good, kids loved the pool too. Would definitely stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A rather disappointing experience at the Marriott"
Frontline receptionists were polite but impersonal Housekeeping staff on Day 3 was unprofessional - did not replenish coffee, left a dirty cleaning towel on top of the toilet seat Internet in the room didn't work for Day 2 even after ringing up for assistance. We didn't feel welcome as Marriott advertised ... so much for being a Marriott member!!Genuine Expedia guest review
"A comfortable nice place for a short stay."
Good location to catch the tourist sights. Walking distance to many eateries & close to catch the hop on hop off bus.Genuine Expedia guest review
