The staff at the courtyard were very accommodating and outgoing. My room was clean and comfortable, I have two comments regarding my stay: first the towels were paper thin, I would recommend purchasing a more luxurious towel for the price being paid. Nice hotel for a quick weekend in the East Side of Orlando. Only strange thing was the bed placement in the room. It faced out the window and the TV was in the left side of the bed instead of facing the bed.

My wife and I stayed here over the holidays. The hotel is well maintained. Public spaces are nice. There is a small restaurant off the lobby - more of a coffee shop with a limited food menu. It is not open all the time. There is a small shop where you can pick up soda, beer, snacks. We were there through 2 Bowl games and a soccer tournament. The lobby […] got noisy a few times, but our room was quiet and comfortable. The hotel is in an office park a mile from the interstate. Not many restaurants in walking distance, but there is a nice one across the street. It is close enough to downtown that you drive it in 10 mins. Our only complaint was one day we had put the "Do Not Disturb" notice on the door. We left, forgetting to take if off. When we returned, it was on the floor, so we think housekeeping must have opened the door. However our room was not cleaned. I think they should have called or cleaned it, but the oversight was understandable. The housekeeping staff were not unpleasant or inefficient - but were not great with customer service either. We were there for over a week, so we had several opportunities to interface with them. That could be one area for improvement in a hotel that is a pretty good place already. Read more

The hotel was overall ok.. The room was comfortable in general however, the beds and pillows were very uncomfortable. I stayed 2 different nights in 2 different rooms. The first room was very good. When I stayed in a different room 2 days later it wasn't the cleanest. The electrical outlet at the bathroom mirror did not work and one of the phones in my room did not work. I bought coffee from the cafe in the lobby and it was so bad I had to return it.

This hotel is in the middle of no-where, but the hotel was comfortable and the staff was very helpful with directions to a location we needed to be at for a graduation. Not very impressed with the restaurant in the hotel (not many choices, very limited menu, and expensive for what you get). We were there for one night only and satisfied.

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel for one night for a soccer tournament. We arrived late at night, around 9, but our room was ready for us. We met some friends in the restaurant/bar, which was nice but not too nice and ordered some drinks. I wondered at that point, at seeing the menu for breakfast, I wonder how the breakfast included (free) is […] going to work. The room was clean and comfortable. The next morning we met downstairs for breakfast and after we ordered at the 'bar', the person told us our total. At that point, I shared with her that our breakfast was to be included and she asked if we had pre-paid. I said no.... She said she would call the Front Desk, but she was NOT pleased. I offered to go to the Front Desk since it was 30 feet away. She said no, to wait. I walked over anyway with my friend thinking this would be better. We both explained that we had booked through hotels.com and that breakfast was included. They OK'd it and were very pleasant. Returning to the restaurant, we had a great breakfast. Upon arrival we were given a room with a strong odor of cat urine. We immediately called the front desk and were told "this is a pet free hotel, but we'll change your room". What bothers me most is that if I hadn't seen it and been as diligent about my card as I am, I would have paid for my room twice. Unimpressed. Would I stay again? I booked the hotel for a special 'getaway evening,' and was a bit disappointed that the entire lobby was full of tarps, construction equipment, plastic sheeting, etc. Because of the construction/renovations, the breakfast room was just a normal guest room with the beds taken out. Positives- Bed was supremely comfortable! Wish I could transport it to my house. Room was clean, and shower was nice. Got breakfast included by hotels.com & it was all delicious. Great service by waitress & people at check-in / check-out. Negatives- the room smelled a little musty the whole time... But the smell never went away - even with running the AC constantly & keeping the balcony door open. Great rate, great beds, nice size rooms, friendly service, I was very pleased! My only complaint is the towels, they feel like sandpaper, so, if you get a chance, bring your own towels :) Other than that, excellent hotel!

This property uses "Sam Snead's Tavern" across the street as their room service provider. This provider went ABOVE AND BEYOND for me. My second night, I ordered dinner - at prime dinner hour - so when an hour or so passed and food had not, arrived, I called back to check on delivery. Who knows how long it might take.. across the street, not on property, […] prime dinner time. They sounded "odd" and said, "sorry - it will be right there". In less than five minutes I had a call-back from the Manager of " 'Sneads"s".... apologizing profusely for the delay. Apparently they thought I was a "take out" order and miscommunicated. He took FULL responsibility, assured me they were preparing a fresh meal since mine had been waiting so long....AND that it would be "on the house" ... NO CHARGE whatsoever. It would be there in 5-10 minutes more - and indeed it was. It renews one's faith to get great service like that! Stay at this hotel! It really is an overall 5. If you don't want to eat in your room - go over to Sam Snead's Tavern - EXCELLENT. Read more

Nice place and location but for the price not too impressed. Overall condition was good, king size bed uncofortable and fro the price I would think the bed would be in better shape. I've stayed at hotells that charge 25 to 30% less and was more comfortable. So save your money and chose another hotel

The Hotel was very comfortable and clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. We also received breakfast with our reservations and the breakfast was very good and had a great variety. My husband and I will stay their next year when we attend "The Classic" GO FAMU!!
