Based on other reviews we requested the side away from the trucks and it was quiet. It was close to restaurants and everything we needed.

room was equipped with one towel, not sure why. Drive lane was very narrow and if you are driving a F150 or any wide truck , be very careful. I checked in at midnight and the hotel stafff had parked their maintenance vehicle was in the drive lane and I had ot wait for them to show up.

Overall, we had a fine stay. However, when there was a confusion with our reservation, I felt that the front desk clerk could have been far less adversarial and rude. In the end, everything worked out, but his behaviour through it all compromised what was otherwise a nice family retreat,

The hotel is very convenient in terms of location/proximity to Calgary and the Airport. There are plenty of options for food/drinks neary by. However, that is about it. The hotel has 3 floors and a basement with several rooms. I ended up with the roomin the basement. The furnishing leaves much to be desired. The carpeting in the hallway and in the […] room looks like they have been there for about 30 years. The basement rooms are next to the cleaning crew and rooms so you end up walking by them all the time. The room was okay for the price. However, the airconditioning system was not working properly. It did blow cold air but it also sounded and felt like an earthquake was taking place in the room. This went on for about fifteen minutes before it died. Tried flipping the switch a couple of times before it came back on but for a few minutes at a time. The continental breakfast was ver limited. Having stayed at other hotels with continental breakfast, this was at the lower end of the offerings found at comparable hotels. Overall, if you needed a place to stay near the airport and the city for a night, this is okay if you don't want to spend a lot of money. Read more

Very good. We checked in at 2 a.m and were extremely pleased that a early check in cost was applied!! We were only there a short sleep but the beds and bedding were wonderful comfortable. Breakfast was very good with a great selection. Very glad hotels.com found this hotel for us.

Going from the elevator to the room seemed pretty creepy as we were assigned to the basement. The condition of the walls are poorly maintained, but I strongly believe this should be actions as presentation is very important especially to a hotel.. The only comment I have is that […] our room had no refrigerator and the toilet though well clean and very well organized, I can note that the wall that had wall paper was starting to fall off and the bottom of the toilet door was warped. The hotel location is pretty accessible to places like Wendy's and Mc Donalds especially a nearby Fuel Station. An extra plus is that if you love swimming they have a really cool swimming pool with a water slide. The quality service is great, all except the two midnight crew that looked up at me and my wife strangely coming into the hotel from a nearby store, then went back to work. No Hi!, no hello and welcome to Comfort Inn etc.. But the crew that received us before the shift change is amazing & the morning crew at the front desk and the people taking care of the free breakfast were amazing people! This was a good hotel and a good location for me for my business trip. Only complaint is there was no bar fridge in the room. This was an unexpected disappointment as most hotels have the fridge. My business requires me to keep some things cold and I was unable to do so here.

Beds and room was clean, although room smelled stale. Room was on the same side of hotel as a truck stop, so semi trucks were running all night because of the cold. they appear to be doing some much needed renovations.
