The Westin was perfect! Stayed in a suite with friends for a weekend away. The hotel was clean and the service was great. The location is perfect for walking and dining in the old port and totally accessible if you want to spend time downtown or further North. No complaints!

We only stayed the one night at Place d'Armes hotel, on our way back to Vancouver and then home, but we wished we had more time, and will return. The hotel staff were both welcoming and efficient (not a combination one often finds), and the hotel itself was immaculate in every respect. The room was flawless in its design, the bed was soft enough to be comfortable, but not so soft as to feel like one is clambering from a bean-bag, upon rising, (as I found in so many hotels in the States!) I particularly appreciated that the designers had eschewed a bath/shower combination in the large bathroom, and installed a large, stone-clad, walk-in shower with a beautiful glass shower screen, instead. The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring Old Town Montreal by foot, which was just what we wanted to do, since we only had the one night. When we checked out, we left our luggage with Place D'Armes, mentioned when we would return for our flight and, when we did, a taxi was already awaiting us. Immaculate service.

"only if you have too"
we got a smoking room it was dirty and sooooooooo smelly.........They could have deodorized it made us sick............the carpet was filthy.....Only use this hotel if you have too.thats for the convienace of the airport
"Good location for Airport"
We arrived in the evening after a flight from Heathrow. The welcome from the duty receptionist was warm and helpful. The room was on the first floor making the carriage of bags difficult as there was no lift. We did get help. This needs to be noted for anyone with physical problems. The room was clean and comfertable. Unfortunately I didn't find the […] switch controlling the air con unit until the following morning so the noise was annoying. The unit needs a sign on it telling the customer where the control is located (opposite wall). Breakfast was adequate and a return to the airport to pick up our hire car was effecient. 1 response by Comfort Inn DorvalThere were 2 things that I did not like...1st was that I had to pay to access the internet on the hotel computer...2nd, I was told that breakfast would start at 6 AM and when I showed up downstairs at 6 I was told that it didn't start until 6:30. I could have slept for an extra 1/2 hour...:(

well the only problem was the breakfast it was sucks i went to the road and get breakfast. that the part that kills the hotel.

We stayed here for one night because our house wasn't finished being renovated and needed something quick. For $$$ it was over priced. Room was very small and freezing cold. Walls were paper thin and we heard everything. EVERYTHING. Bed was like a blow up mattress. Anytime we moved the other person also moved. Breakfast included was a bonus we thought […] until the maid who was watching the food said it was either one TINY muffin or 2 pieces of dried bread were our choices. I got a couple muffins and a glare from the maid but whatever. Location was tricky to get to and I live near there.. Will I go back, probably not. l`hotel et son ensemble était bien c`est au niveau du service d`un auditeur que cela est discutable
Seul bémol pour les gens qui prennent l'avion tôt le matin la fin de semaine, nous n'avons pas accès au déjeuner avant 7 heures. Domage parce que tout le reste est très bien

L'hôtel indique donner un service de navette. Après 2 appels a l'hôtel personne n'est venu nous chercher. C'est une chaîne concurrente qui a bien voulu nous reconduire a l'hôtel et ce après plus d'une heure d'attente. Le lendemain matin nous avons dû défrayer le coût du taxi pour nous ramener a l'aéroport. De plus l'hôtel ne comporte aucun ascenceur […] et nous avions des sacs de golf a transporter. Read more

"Wirklich kein Problem zum Airport"
Dieses Hotel ist hauptsaelchlich dann zu empfehlen, wenn man ohne Stress einen Flug erreichen moechte. Das Zimmer war sehr gut, alles da, sogar ein Buegelbrett/eisen. Allerdings ein Fenster konnte man nicht oeffnen, weil es sehr laut von den Strassen her war. Das Fruehstueck war Minimalstandard, enger Raum, wenig Auswahl, aber immerhin hatte man was […] gegessen. Ich wollte einen Tee, und da sie keine Teebeutel am Automaten hatten, hat die Dame vom Empfang mich ins Zimmer ins Obergeschoss geschickt, ich solle mir dort welche holen.... Aber die Erklaerung, wie man zum Flughafen kommt, war nachher sehr gut, also insgesamt durchaus zu empfehlen. Read more

Nous sommes très satisfait de notre séjour au Comfort in de Dorval. Nous y sommes allé entre deux vols. Le service de navette est très pratique et dans les deux sens. On vient nous chercher à l'aéroport et on vient nous y apporter. Un petit bémol, nous avons trouver le système de chauffage assez bruyant.
