We had an excellent stay here, after a late flight into Dorval airport. The shuttle both ways was prompt and the service efficient. We were able to park our car for the week in an enclosed area, which is locked at night, for a very reasonable rate. It's disappointing to learn that you're unhappy. To accomodate some guests we only have 10 smoking rooms in the hotel, I am surprised to hear that your smelled the smoke in all the hotel. concerning the guest sleeping in the parking lot, at night there is security rounds and if someone is there with no reasy, they are usualy asked to leave. The shuttle service was horrible. There was no direction as in where they will pick u up when arrriving from the airport. The shuttle driver was not nice at all. I thought it was a great hotel, well located for all local amenities and facilities and excellent for the airport. The staff were friendly and helpful and always had a smile on their faces and treated and greeted the guests with respect. The accommadation was lovely comfortable beds and the rooms were roomy and light and bright with character and style. […] The bathroom was roomy and the shower and bath great. Breakfasts - variety of pasteries and breads, cereals and plently to drink. The dining room was light and bright and welcoming to guests. There were 2 things that I did not like...1st was that I had to pay to access the internet on the hotel computer...2nd, I was told that breakfast would start at 6 AM and when I showed up downstairs at 6 I was told that it didn't start until 6:30. We had a small dog (3 pounds) with us, and they said that they normally charge $25 dollars for a dog and normally put animals in smoking room, but since we did not know, they waived the price and let us stay in a non-smoking room. We stayed here for one night because our house wasn't finished being renovated and needed something quick. For $$$ it was over priced. Room was very small and freezing cold. Walls were paper thin and we heard everything. EVERYTHING. Bed was like a blow up mattress. Anytime we moved the other person also moved. Breakfast included was a bonus we thought […] until the maid who was watching the food said it was either one TINY muffin or 2 pieces of dried bread were our choices. I got a couple muffins and a glare from the maid but whatever. Location was tricky to get to and I live near there.. Will I go back, probably not. Certainly a very convenient location beside YUL. Free shuttle bus adds to convenience factor, but be aware it stops at midnight - then hotel is $20 taxi ride from arrivals. Hotel is in commercial area with no services or restaurants close by. Room OK, bathroom clean with plenty hot water, many TV channels, coffee pot and supplies available. No computer […] safe. Card-operated door locks with good inside security latch. AC available. If window is partially open, road noise is a problem. Breakfast was included in rate, but was a big disappointment. It is served in a converted bedroom next to lobby. No tables, so one must carry food items through lobby and back to bedroom. Selections were all cold (cereal, boiled eggs). Also tired-looking bread for toast and fat/jam/cheese, as well as small muffins, OJ and coffee. Certainly the worst included b'fast in any hotel stay.
