It's the quality of the staff that really made this hotel for me. They were very courteous and helpful. The hotel restaurant was very nice and had a good variety of options to choose from. Nothing fancy, just simple, authentic regional food. The only minus about this hotel was that the shower was very close to the toilet, and the entire bathroom floor […] was wet after I showered. I wasn't sure if this was a special room designed to be wheelchair accessible or if every bathroom was this way. I chose this hotel based on price - it's a budget hotel and you won't mistake it for a fancy luxury hotel. As a budget hotel, it's top notch. Nice atmosphere, great service. We stayed here for 1 night, just a brief stopover while driving to Austria.The hotel is pretty old and basic, with typical small room. I did like having free parking and free internet. We were delightfully surprised when we got to our hotel. It was nicely tucked in a corner by the river. The gentleman running the hotel was especially nice and very helpful. Any drawbacks in room size or bathroom size are quickly made up for by the staff. My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon. Service was top notch and the attached restaurant was a huge plus. Nothing like a splendid dinner on the patio with a glass of wine after a day of driving. RECOMMENDED!

Nice hotel with clean, modern furnishings. The rooms are small by American standards, but average size for Europe. The dinner at the restaurant was one of the best meals we had in Strasbourg. The only downside is that it is not in the core of Strasbourg, which added 15-20 minutes each way (by tram or bus) to our daily trip.

They pulled out a map and showed me where I was, where the tram stop closes to the hotel was, how to get into town (10-15 min walk - less by tram), all the sites to see - very helpful. The room was nice - mirrors and plugs everywhere (something lacking in some hotels). Of course no A/C, but it had free […] wi-fi. They had a nice TV, but being English speaking it was BBC news (or the world cup since it was on). The only down fall, no real place to eat aside from the hotel in the immediate area. We were right outside the city but you can easily get in by train or even 15 min walk. Very clean, comfortable and quiet, but small. Perfect for crashing after a long day or night in the city. The front doors to the hotel lock at night and you need a pin to get in after hours which made us feel safe. Front desk workers for friendly and helpful!

The man at reception was very helpful and gave us a 1 day itinerary and plotted the sites on the city map. The hotel was not flash but clean and walking distance (along the river) to Petite France and can take the tram home at night. A good place to over night. 10 minutes drive from city center ( speed limit ). Room is small and compact. I did not see A/C, could be hot in summer. Clean, excellent reception ( gave tips ). Surrounded by apartments. Residential area. River below for walks. Good air quality.

I prefer business hotels and free parking was important. Room was very small by American standards, but quite efficient. Beds were comfortable. Room was quiet. Service by front desk was far batter than we are accustomed to in the states. He told me when I checked in that there was a light show that night at the cathedral and we just had time enough […] to take the trolley and see it. His directions to the trolley, easy walk, and the cathedral worked and we made the show, the last of the season. Recommend you have breakfast at the hotel, very reasonable. We thought we would have breakfast in a little cafe in town, but few were open and those that were did not speak English. This is the second time we've used this hotel as a base in Strasbourg. The walk into town is not too long or the tram stop nearby is very convenient. It's so easy to get to from the motorway and the room was clean and well maintained. Our only gripe was a lack of air-con or fans on what was a very hot couple of days and nights.

The room was very small, no air conditioning, just enough room to sleep! But price was very good, as well as very friendly hotel staff. Definitely a good choice if pricing is the primary concern. Just don't expect much.

The location is good- a little far from the center, but as we wanted the parking, it was taken into consideration. This was our first time in a Comfort hotel, so we didn't know what to expect. The room was tiny, we had to climb on top of the luggage to pass to the other side, but it has everything (including a kettle- which is great in summer when you […] can take your coffee downstairs and sit next to the river, which is there). The only problem was the attitude of Oliver, when we asked for face-towels he said:" How much did you pay???!!! What do you expect?" We think he could have explained the chain rule about towels(because it's the first time we heard about it), and we were charged 2.40 for tax (though it said less on Hotels site) Kristoff, the evening before, was very nice and polite, so we decided that one person cannot ruin the whole place. We booked this hotel as it was near the motorway and we were driving from Italy to the UK and just wanted a stopover. We were surprised at how pleasant it was - clean, modern, comfortable room - although small - in good repair. There is free WiFi and free parking. The hotel is tucked away of the main road. 5 mins from a tram stop and 15mins walk into city along the river. not far from motoway so a bit of a noise but not much. ok for one or two nights but worth the money we paid for it.

Great hotel in the middle of Strasbourg. It is a little hard to find and get to, but once you get to it it is in the perfect location for sightseeing in the old city. The restaurant serves great food and breakfast isn't bad either.
