This is a good choice if North Vancouver is your destination. Lots of shopping and eating in the market below the hotel, which is also where the parking is located. The more upscale and higher priced rooms get you further out towards the water, which can be worth it in terms of quiet and view.

Location.
Conveniently near the airport in the heart of Richmond, Comfort Inn Airport is close to Aberdeen Centre, Richmond Olympic Oval, and Richmond Centre Mall. Additional area attractions include BC Place Stadium and VanDusen Botanical Garden.
Hotel Features.
Comfort Inn Airport has an outdoor pool, a fitness facility, and a seasonal outdoor pool. Wireless Internet access is complimentary in public areas. "Night-before-the-flight type-of hotel"
We stayed here on our last day before hitting the airport. The location is perfect if you want to stay close to the airport, and they will offer free shuttle service. Continental breakfast was fine and we were very happy with the stay.

the front desk personnel were so helpful. The van to the airport was really good as we left at a very early hour and van was on time.

Location was close to Vancouver International Airport and a free airport shuttle is available between hotel and airport. Basic breakfast buffet was included which I was grateful for before my early AM flight.

Unkempt and dingy hotel in a very poor location - - Only thing it had going for it was that it was close to the airport. Our room had a very dark room with a window blocked by an enclosed staircase.

We were very satisfied with the accomdations and ease of reaching the hotel ... even at a 11 PM hour. The room was very satisfactory! The personal was very helpful and curteous.

The hotel seems dingy - the hallways and the rooms are pretty dark. The rooms are congested and seem really old. The mattresses are really bad and are almost sure to give you a sore back. Moreover they do not provide any complimentary stuff - no free internet access (even in the lobby), no free breakfast etc. Yes it is conveniently located near the […] airport but you can find better hotels at a better price just minutes away in Richmond. They even charge guests for parking and the parking spaces are extremely limited. The front desk is understaffed and there is usually a 5-10 minute wait to get an answer. "Comfort Inn at Airport in Vancouver, BC"
A shabby liquor store was the first floor of the hotel and we had to pay for parking which was outside next to the liquor store. The room was nice and clean. The lobby was a bit dirty. Great shower.
The room was very comfortable, but you will be aware you are near the airport and the skytrain. These you can get over. The 8am vacuuming was not appreciated however.

The hotel room we stayed in was small compared to other hotels we stayed in the US for that price range. The telephone in the room was not useable (there was no cable plugged into the wall socket). For people travelling from the US that needs a landline to make local calls, that was very inconvenient. I left a vanily bag at the hotel and came back the […] following day to retrieve it. "Scratch, scratch, scratch"
We were disappointed that we were asked to pay for parking, that was not mentioned when the reservation was placed. There was scratching in the wall all night, sounded like squirrels or other critters. The room was clean.

When I stepped off the elevator, there was a barn smeel that I hoped would not carry into the room - but it did. I opened the window to attempt to air it out and then the noise level was very loud due to being at the airport and main traffice route. When I got into bed, all of a sudden the whole bed shook. When I finally closed the window, I was able to hear the voices and tv very clearly of the people staying right next to me. I was exhauseted and so I finally did fall asleep. Location and free shuttle was what I chose this hotel for. The accommodations were clean and basic. No complaints.

This was the worst hotel I have stayed in in my life and I have traveled the world. The hotel smelt horrible the carpet in the hall was very nauseas and smelt wet. They charge for parking no breakfast included. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The rooms were clean. Light switch was in need of replacing. Bed was comfortable. Room was small. Value for the dollar wasok. Food was good in the restaurant. Air conditioning/heating unit was very noisy (I had to turn it off to get any sleep.). overall mediocre.
The room was fine, bathroom too small. Asked where to go for dinner and it was good but too expensive for what we got. Shuttle buses should leave earlier than 4am, we had to take a cab at 3:30am, happy to have parking while we were away at a vacation out of the country and it was a good price.

"comfort inn- overnight stay"
very close to airport. rooms are small but comfortable. if you are touring victoria and vancouver island be sure to see eric who works in the restaurant(only on weekends),he gave us many great tips and insider information.
"Not worth the money!"
I travel a lot & had stayed at this hotel about six years ago for one night & had had an acceptable stay that's why I returned this time when I had missed my flight. I was saddened & disappointed at how run downed the the hotel had become. The hotel needs a complete renovation from top to bottom. The rooms need to be completely cleaned including the […] walls, carpeting & new bedding. The bathroom seemed clean though. The hotel received a cheaply done paint job that just lowers the quality of the place. I'm sad that I won't be going back. The service at the front desk was also not the best. The only thing I appreciated was the free airport shuttle service. The area has also declined tremendously even though they have some high end hotels now surrounding like the Westin & Delta which I will be trying next time. Read more

Everything was how you would expect from small airport hotel: shutle bus from and to airport, standard size of the room, minimal accomodations such as cofee-maker, free wireless internet. The bed was clean and suprisingly comfortable, especially pillows (for someone with back pain problems it's kind of important), but a bathroom could be a little cleaner... […] There was no free cup of coffe in the lobby, but there is starbucks in walking distance, wine shop right around the coner and italian restaurant across the road. So I guess it was good considering the price we paid. It took a litle longer to check out, b/c they wanted to charge me for extra person staying in the room (there was no one) and additional charge for parking even though we didn't have a car, but it all was fixed in the end. Good that it was near the airport -- only a 5-minute shuttle ride. It was also pretty close to the Skytrain station -- a 10-minute walk but slightly confusing how best to get there. The desk agent at check-in was quite friendly and helpful. The check-out agent not as much. The room and elevator were both very small but adequate for our short stay.

"Great for pre or post flight stay"
Quiet and clean. Rooms were spacious and certainly adequate for the price. Shuttle was right on time. Only 2 minutes to the airport.

The hotel stay was not that great. I have stayed in Comfort Inn in other locations and all were pretty good for the price. Vancouver -airport comfort Inn was not good at all. The rooms were not that spacious and fresh. Also there were no refrigerator and no water to drink. There was a ice cube vending machine near our room and people were taking ice […] cubes in the night and it was really disturbing. Maybe we should have asked for a room that is not near the elevator or vending machines like this. Above all you need to pay for accessing the internet kiosk. "Affordable, clean and convenient."
We chose this hotel because of the economical price and convenience of shuttle service to and from the airport. The hotel was around the corner from the Skytrain which was fabulous. There was a Beer and Wine store on the premisis and the guy was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was tasty and quick and our server was great. I especially appreciate […] that the hotel was able to store our luggage after check out so that we could go downtown and kill time before our late flight out. "So-So Hotel"
Stayed at this hotel on 9/5/09 and its "okay." If you are looking for "just a room" then this is probably it. However, if you are looking for a nice hotel, with amenities (just a step above), this may not be the hotel for you. We just needed a hotel close to the airport for one night. It was everything we needed. The room had new carpet and wall paper and an extremely comfortable bed. The only downside was you had to pay to use their computer to use online services.

"Good value for money"
This hotel is a no-frill place, charging no-frill rate. Clean and nice. Less than 10-minute walk from shopping/Grocery stores and waterfront jogging/walking trail. Right beside the skyrail connecting to downtown. Good location, good value for money.

Hotel is a very old hotel but ok for an over-niter on our way home from holidays.Good location from the airport.
