Staff, very nice. Hot tub was out all day/night. Electrician was working on it, even he was very nice. I really wanted / needed to hot tub after riding in the rain to get there. Very disappointed about not being able to relax in the hot tub. Pool looked to green for me to even think of going in. I don't know if all rooms are large, but our room was huge. The hotel was fine, no complaints. It is not located right in Owatonna, but is right by Cabelas, and several restaurants: Famous Daves, Timberlodge, Subway, and others...

Hotel was undergoing some renovations during our stay, unfortunately for us the ceiling in our bathroom was leaking creating a large mess and an awful odor in the room. I would recommend asking if renovations are complete prior to booking a room!

The hotel was kind enough to let us check in early as we had a wedding to attend in a near by town. The hotel was being renovated but they evidently were not working on it for the weekend. However things were sitting all over the place. Our room I don't believe had been renovated yet. The breakfast was good with a good variety and that is appreciated. The room was great, bed and pillows just right. There were a lot of conveniences in the room to use. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast as a lot of choices and food was there didn't have to wait for it.. We also enjoyed the area with restaurants avaioable and easy access to the hotel.
