I found the room clean. Couple of complaints though. White sheets had a very strong odor of bleach and were thread bare. Outside of the room cigarette butts were everywhere. Other then that everything wise fine . The help were very courtious and the breakfast was fresh and plentiful. The rates were very reasonable. I would stay again.

We received a phone call around 2am getting a noise complaint when we were sleeping, & the people who were staying in the room next door kept banging on the wall all night. Was not impressed.

Convenient location for ice fishing north end of lake simcoe. Quiet. Nice to be able to access your vehicle through patio doors. Lotts of restaurants within walking. Breakfast was below average compared to Hilton in Barrie. Same price so I expected a similar breakfast. They charge for an extra person which is cheesey.

The Comfort Inn in Orilliia was very good for a one night escapade to Casino Rama. The hotel is a little dated although has all the amenities you need and is overall very comfortable. It's a 25$ flat rate cab fare to Casino Rama and there are many nice restaurants a short walk from the hotel.

Enjoyed the stay but the pillows could have been alittle more fluffy and the shower head wasn't strong enough. It would have been nice to have a bar fridge in the room like our friends did.We did have a good sleep and it was a quiet place. Really enjoyed having a Tim Hortons a few steps away from the hotel.

We weren't told until arrival that there was no shuttle to Casinorama. There was a hockey tournament on in town and the hotel was full of young kids running around yelling, slamming doors. The hotel staff spoke to 'someone' a couple of times, but to no avail. THe continential breakfast wasn't worth looking at. It's clean but rundown. Good, comfortable room; friendly staff; good service; hotel did not feel crowded even when full; continental breakfast is more than enough to hold you until a late lunch or early supper; obvious efforts at energy conservation (fridge and microwave turned off until guests turn on). Fully met our expectations.

Had to move the coffee machine to the desk next to the bed because the electrical lead would not reach to the power bar to which it needed to be plugged - in.Room was clean. Road construction was right outside the hotel. Only used the hotel for one overnight stay-Friday show night at Rama. We purchased tickets for the Weezer concert (Friday night) and were looking for options other than driving an hour and a half home. I called Hotels.com to confirm the shuttle bus details which were mentioned in the reviews online. I was put on hold briefly while the customer service rep contacted the Comfort Inn. Within a couple of minutes he was back […] on the line with "good news". There would indeed be shuttle service back and forth to the concert. Terrific I thought and this was the information which confirmed this would be our best option. Upon check in I inquired what times the shuttle would be leaving to which the attendant replied that there would be no such service. This resulted in $50 dollars of unexpected travel expense not to mention we were late for the concert as many of the other guests were relying on the local taxi service to get there. Room was clean but one of the two double beds was much lower than the other (a result of one being upgraded recently while the other deemed satisfactory). Site mentioned rooms were equipped with DVD players which too was not exactly true. They facility had 2 DVD players which could be signed out on a first come first serve basis. Not good odds for a facility of 80+ rooms. Was disappointed apart from the fact that the concert was awesome. Read more

Stayed while in town for a wedding. A reasonable place to stay for the rate we paid. The room was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff were excellent. Friendly and helpful. There could be a little more room in the shower and they could definately use a better shower head.

The hotel was fine for the price. Nothing fancy, and nothing wrong with it. It was a little noisy as it is beside a secondary highway. And the shuttle was not running that night and we would have liked to take it to the casino for a concert. It really should run everynight!
