The rooms were clean and the bed was moderately comfortable. The hotel did have the strange smell of strong cleaner and remnants of cigarette smoke. Nothing fancy, but it was clean. The breakfast area was very crowded in the morning.

Hotel is getting a bit "long in the tooth" and needs some overall updating. Curtain in room was torn in several places, TV and controls difficult to use and had no menu. Channels were different from those listed in room guide. Beginning to look a little shabby.

We came by I-40, and it was fairly easy to locate. The staff was nice, and the room was comfortable. Breakfast was good, hot sausage patty, english muffin, eggs, make-your-own waffles..., fresh coffee.

This hotel was more economical than what we would usually use. The staff was wonderful at check-in and in helping with amenities such as pool towels. The cleaning staff was friendly, but could have done a little better job. The bathroom was not completely satisfactory and the last day we were shorted coffee supplies. The pool was refreshing and clean. […] Breakfast good, but would have benefitted from a little more room. It was peak tourist season in Asheville and the breakfast area was a little chaotic. However, the food offerings were plentiful, hot or cold as they should be, and satisfying. The hotel was very clean. We rode our motorcycle & they let us keep the motorcycle under the car port. They let us check in early and the breakfast was wonderful. Would stay there again!

Our flight came in late morning. We had been travelling all morning. We were exhausted. The front desk person was professional and courteous. He was able to accommodate us with a very early check in, thank goodness. I had ordered ahead of time extra pillows and an extra set of towels. They quickly added them to the room. We spent the nite was happy to leave..... Coffee in the am was nice... For the price of the room I expected alot more.. I was grateful for the 2 towels in the bathroom so we could at least shower although I had to plug my hair dryer in a multi plug by the microwave since it was the only avail place with a mirror close by . had to giggle the plug a few […] times to work, several other things were plugged in the multi plug fitting not sure what all. Great location just off interstate. Ruby Tuesday's next door and the last thing I wanted was to get back in a car and go to get dinner after riding all day. Room as expected and breakfast was the usual.

It is obvious that a recent renovation occurred but the public areas still need work. They should use better materials, ie that will stand up to high use. Otherwise, I was pleased. My room was clean and I like that there is a non smoking floor

very clean, recently remodeled, everything looks brand new. New matresses & sheets & comfortors, too. Very comfortable, good night sleep. Very safe, very friendly staff. Will stay here again. We left too early for breakfast, but area was big & nice, clean.

The room itself was very acceptable, however I got a ground floor room too close the the ise machine and the parking lot and the noise woke me up several time. The honking horns, the crying/yelling kids, the ice machine all woke me up. An upper level floor might have been better.

From the surly,unwelcoming desk clerk who "greeted" us on arrival to the towel with blood spots on it, with several bugs and a general "needs to be updated" feel in between, we will not stay here again. Should be rated 1 star, not 2.
