"Not Worth the Money"

I picked Comfort Suites partly because they had a pool. However, the pool turned out to be about the size of a postage stamp and it closed too early (9:00pm) for us to take a dip after the wedding reception we attended. Our room had a mini-fridge that ran very loudly and kicked on frequently during the night. We did not ask for the fridge and would have preferred silence over its noisy, unnecessary presence. It might have been less of an issue if the fridge were closer to the bathroom (on the far side of the sitting area) rather than at the foot of my bed. Additionally, the room was poorly lit and had a bulb missing from one of its few lamps. We would have liked to open the curtains for more light, but the window didn't have any sheers: it was drapes or nothing. Considering we were on the ground floor and facing the parking lot, we stayed in the dark.

"Great Place"

Hotel was clean and beautiful. Easy check in and out. Free Continential Breakfast too. We will be going back there again in two weeks to attend a funeral. Will book here again.

1. Hotel lobby was very cold. 2. Room keys didn't work, had to exchange room keys 4 times doing our stay there. 3. Sink and toliet stopped up. 4. 2nd night stay problem with hot water. 5. No response to immediate problems. 6. No receipt for stay when asked for one. response was we don't give a receipt.

"Good solid hotel for the money"

Room and bathroom were clean but heater in room was a little hinky. Didn't blow as warm as it could have. Breakfast with make your own waffles was pretty good. Standard bagels and muffins, but had all the amenities with toasters, butter, jams milk etc. Good hotel for the jump over to Whitetail. THere's nothing in the Whitetail area to speak of so Hagerstown is your best bet! Front desk staff was really nice and helpful. Small but useful business center, let me use their printer! Will stay again, for the price, with the breakfast definitely a good deal for a family of 3 hungry snowboarders/skiers!

When we stayed at this motel the spa was out of order...unfortunately it was one of the reasons we picked the hotel.

The hotel itself was more than adequate. Don't expect any personal service or greetings. The desk personnel do not greet you, they just ask the name the reservation is under. The complimentary breakfast states that it ends at 9 a.m.--at 8:50 am they start to clean up regardless if anyone is still eating or has walked in late. Since there are multiple additional hotels very close by, for the price of these rooms for that area, I had expected a more pleasant experience. Next time I will go for the more moderately priced hotels in the area.

"Good, but..."

The only quibbles I have with te hotel is that while they do have a pool, it is very small and more for cooling off than swimming. A good value for the money overall, but when you see indoor pool, you don't expect something maybe 25' by 15'. And while they have a work out room, very rudimentary equipment. If you aren't interested in those things, that's ok. But while I wasn't expecting an Olympic size pool or a Gold's Gym, I would have liked a better description of what exactly the fitness center and pool encompassed. Clean room and hotel, bed was good, many choices on the TV. Good value but could have been better or more forthcoming...

The room was bigger than what I expected..plenty of room for me and my 3 teenagers. I thought the beds were very comfortable for a hotel. Close to plenty of things like shopping and restaurants. Only thing I was disappointed in was that the pool was small for the size of the hotel.
