Was surprised at how nice the room was. For the price, it exceed my expectations. I got a non smoking room and it was clean and smelled great. Bed was comfortable. The only issue I had was that the lock on the room was loose and it took me a few tries to open it. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay and will stay here again if I ever make it back to Angus, ON

It's not a luxury hotel, but it's a very nice place to stay. It is conveniently located near downtown Orillia. It's a short drive to Georgian Bay. It's only 1.5 hours from downtown Toronto. All this, and it's affordable. The hotel provides free wifi, and the hotel's owners and staff are very helpful and friendly. The mattress was firm and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

Our stay at the Comfort Inn overall was pleasant and clean. The pillows were nice and for some lucky reason there was an abundant amount of towels in our room without us having to request extra ones. I think we had 6 large ones and 4 small ones, that was very appreciated. The only nuisance was the sound of the 400 highway the whole night, but that was […] to be expected by the location we chose. Also, I suffer from allergies to fragrance and the waft of cheap perfume and chemicals to swarm my face as soon as we opened the door to the stairwell made it pretty hard to breathe and made me kinda headachy every time. The rest of society is turning to 'fragrance free' workplaces and businesses, I think that the Comfort Inn should certainly consider following suit as it is not as though we are only there for a few minutes, sometimes these stays are prolonged for a few days of which exposure to that would ultimatelty affect my breathing much worse. The room was nice and very clean, but the only other thing I noticed is that none of the doorknobs, light switches, remotes or the telephone were sanitized and who knows when the last time they were done was! That causes germs to spread profusely. All in all, I would definitely stay here again as the service was very friendly and the rest of the room was spotless. Thank you! Read more

Excellent although the room was very cold when we arrived. The staff requested that next time we phone ahead so the room can be heated. Since we are seniors I would have appreciated a room on the main floor, although the staff member did offer to carry my bag up for me.

The hotel is easy to access from hwy. 400 and was both clean and quiet. The front desk staff were welcoming and efficient. Complimentary coffee and cookies were offered at check-in which we appreciated after being in the car for several hours. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

I stayed there for one night, had no trouble checking in, or out. I didnt stay for breakfast, but from what i saw, it wasnt that great. With lots of free parking, and timmys around the corner, this place is convienient, even if its off the highway, it doesnt bother you much at night. I would recommend this to others.

The hotel was great, clean room. The only down side was having to carry my breakfast upstairs to my room as there was no eating area downstairs.

It is a great hotel. We are able to bring our 2 small dogs. Nice and clean and close to everything. Would stay there again for sure.

We were looking for a nice place to get away for a couple of nights and found it in the Comfort Inn in Barrie. Staff were welcoming and pleasant during our stay. The 2:00 p.m. check in worked great for our schedule. Our room was clean and a nice size. The hotel was located close to the malls and restaurants we were interested in.
