The hotel was very nice and the staff was extremely courteous. Our room was not the one I had booked online. I booked a 2 bdrm suite and we were given a 1 bdrm suite. The staff was able to move us to the correct room. However, we had to pay an additional $20 for the upgrade. The staff apologized for the problem and did everything to make our stay comfortable. The buffet breakfast was very good and had a large variety of items.

Convenient to Philips Arena...good restaurants. Room initially didn't have a good view...but air didn't work & it was going to be another hour toget it going. They gave us another room with a view of centennial park & free breakfast buffet for the inconvenience ....great service! The double beds were really small & not comfortable...that was the only negative.

My husband and I enjoyed an overnight stay here. Hotel entrance very clean, Staff very friendly upon arrival. Easy checkin. Horrible staff...dirty rooms...did I mentioned how disgusting the room was. You can't take your breakfast up to the room. Drop this hotel from your business.

"Bring your iron from home"
Overall my stay was ok. The bathroom door was off balanced and the shower walls need attention. The tub was clean, but no one uses the tub in a hotel. The iron was horrible and leaked water all over my clothes. The bed and other areas were very clean.

Satisfied with hotel overall. Inexpensive, clean and comfortable place to sleep and shower which is all I needed. Friendly and accommodating front desk clerk. The air-condition didn't work as I would have wanted and the TV could use updating. Other than that, great value for the price.

"Security Concerns"
Ok got the hotel and started the check in and was never asked for my ID. Got my key card and went to the room didn't work (not a to big of a deal) came back to the lobby and got a new key card which worked this time. Also the rooms that weren't currently rented out were unlocked and opened..... The next day went out for the day came back and the new […] key card did NOT work again. So went back down to get my key card redone and was never asked for any ID just told them what room I was in and got a key to go in. Anyone could of gone in and asked my room or any other customers room and cleaned everything out. I will not go back to this hotel again Read more
"VERY NICE PLACE for a quick over night trip!"
We stayed Two nights! Breakfast provided each morning. It wasn't Shoney's Buffett, but clean, nice, and had few options. One issue we had, but not a major one, the ice machines did not work on either of the 2 floors. Had we truly needed ice this would have been an issue. However, the front desj staff did provide us with ice from the kitchen.

I will say one thing for this place: The beds are amazing! I have stayed at MUCH nicer places, a few that pride themselves on the quality of the mattresses in their rooms but none of them can compare to the heaven that waited for me in this room. I didn't want to get out of it ever again! That was the best thing about the place... I had to go to the […] front desk to ask for a remote for the TV and EVERYTHING that should have been in the bathroom: towels, soap, toilet paper, tissues. When someone finally showed up with towels, they seemed surprised that the two of us would want more than ONE towel and I never got tissues. The heat was set to 80 when we got into the room, had to turn the A/C on to cool it down, took hours for it to not feel like a sweat box because I couldn't turn it on anything above 'low' or it rattled so loud I couldn't hear my Fiance sitting next to me. The room was clean enough, linens were 'fresh', pillows fluffed and soft. a bit more wiping around the sink/microwave area was needed but I was able to do that once I finally got towels. The front desk people were VERY friendly, always a smile and a cheerful greeting. (even when I was cranky and complaining about towels.) I travel weekly as I am a Regional Mgr. I have stayed in many hotels but this was absolutely my worst experience ever! Not even full basic cable...not to mention you had to turn a switch on the wall to even get power to the TV. No iron in the room and the replacement they sent did not work well. "Nice rooms, weird service"
My boyfriend and I stayed there for 1 night because next morning I had to take a flight from ATL, so ours was pretty much a sleep-over stay. We got there at night and as soon as we got to the lobby we noticed it nobody was in there. NOBODY. It looked like the hotel was pretty much empty and kind of abandoned. Even the lights of the areas around the […] lobby were off. We said hello a couple of times, and nobody came. We played a little bell at the front desk and then a guy, very kind, showed up. He completed our reservation and gave us our keys. However, this person was not even wearing a hotel uniform. It looked like a random person has crashed there taking the place of an employee. That made us feel a bit nervous and unsecure. However, the room was very clean, cozy and convenient, with all the services we needed, even complimentary WiFi. My only recommendation for the hotel is to try to make the entrance a little bit more cozy and warm for their guests. Read more
"Nice for overnight stay except breakfast"
I had a nice overnight business stay and would revisit. Initially, my toilet for my first room did not work and they kindly found me another room a few doors down. My only complaint about the room would be the too short shower curtain. It became irritating since air would cause the curtain to move and then water from the shower constantly drained on […] the floor making the floor and foot towel soaked. I totally agree with the other reviewers....get a LONGER shower curtain, please. All the amenities in the description are correct except for the "full" breakfast. Maybe their definition of full breakfast means danishes, cereal, juice and coffee since that's all that was on the bar. There was NO meat, grits, eggs, or fruit. When I smell that much air freshener, I know something is wrong - air freshener does not replace cleanliness. The toilet in the room was stopped up when we got there, though we were too exhausted to complain at the time. The bathroom was poorly designed, there was no warning that the comforter was down (to which we are both allergic), the Continental […] breakfast was worse than I've seen at cheap motels in the middle of nowhere. There was a cooler with 2 cups of yogurt, an empty tray for boiled eggs, and a few pats of butter. We arrived 30 minutes after it started. The waffle iron had not been oiled, nor was there a way for guests to oil it, and the waffles were horrible--artificially flavored blueberry. The juice dispenser was made for 4 juices but only dispensed 3 (why?), and the ceiling was leaking in the breakfast area. Also, there was a vending machine next to the ice machine on our floor. It had space for about 12 different snacks. All but two were empty, and those two had Lantz snack crackers. As we were leaving, my friend commented to the fellow in the room next to ours (who was leaving at the same time) that the vending machine look more appetizing than the breakfast, and he agreed. In general, we had a horrible night's sleep, and felt that the hotel was just not worth half what we paid. Read more

My stay was great, I stayed for 6 days, the only problem I incounted, were lady bugs in my room. For the most part the staff was very friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

The refridgerator didn't close completely. It took forever for the hot water to appear.. The shower curtain was way to small for the shower. The water from the shower went ALL over the floor. It was like stepping into a small wading pool when getting out of the shower. We had to have towels all over the floor to sop up. The tub drain stopper wouldnt […] stay up. When we took showers the water would fill up the tub . It was like taking a bath standing up. When We brought it to the front desks attention, the clerk said he'd tell the manager and try to fix or we could switch rooms. We returning to the hotel after a day of sightseeing , we asked the night time clerk if it was resolved. She said everything was looked at. She also said the shower curtain was replaced. When returning to our room we noticed NOTHING was changed. We were too tired to go back down to say anything else to the clerk so we ended up staying in the same room again that night. IT WAS OK, THE FRESH SMELL OF LAQUER ON THE ENTIRE FLOOR DOORS WAS A FOR SURE SIGN OF A BAD WEEKEND TO COME. 100% no smoking yet my comferter had cig burns. Our heater was broke...noise kept us up all night. Toilet would not flush. Was made to pay $20 extra because we had friends over to watch the game. Front desk said they were spending the night when they were just there a few hours for the game. Would never stay there again.
