We had 4 rooms and one was supposed to have 2 queen beds and didn't so we had to go to the desk but thankfully they had a room with 2 rooms with queen beds available. We also were supposed to have one room with a king bed and I asked all our room occupants and no one had the king, yet we paid for it since they were out of queens.

The refrigerator made a lot of noise. The door opened the opposite way that it should be mounted. The design of the room seemed odd. The furniture didn't fit the room design. The closet was only open in the bathroom area. There was no closet in the entrance area for coats, wet boots.

The hotel has a great location and a nice staff. The bed was lumpy with a valley in the middle, however. The front desk clerk mentioned a hotel overhaul "next year" which I feel is too long if the other beds were like mine. Selected children of age 2 and 5 for reservation and at check-in family of four was present. Nice host got us the handicap room on the 2nd floor because of more space. It was nice and comfortable. That evening kids took showers and ready for bed. Phone rang, it was the front desk stating that neighbor guests were complaining of noise. We were not doing […] anything that would be the cause. Kids were watching TV. Ten minutes later front desk called again and complain of same problem. Now there's others from across the hall that's complaining. Yes, my kids drop a few books. Again, another call telling we had to moved to another room or the cops will be called. It was 8:30pm and we don't want to look to a another place to stay. Unwilling we move to a small room on lower level next to the laundry room. Asked about laundry being done at night and front desk guaranteed no one would do so until we check out the next morning. At 12:30 am kids got woken up from laundry noise. Went to cuss out front desk and deal with crying kids. Next morning, we notice there was a family of 5 with three kids ages from 1 to 7 staying two doors where we were when the complaints came in. Problem is the thin floors/ceiling between the 1st and 2nd floor. You can hear when someone puts their feet on the floor getting out of bed. This was the worse experience we had in any stay. I was pleasantly surprised. We traveled with 3 dogs. The room was located in a very appropriate place for us to take the dogs out without disturbing other guests. The layout of the room was perfect and having the kitchenette was a positive plus. I would definately recommend this hotel and I plan on staying here everytime I travel to Bend.

Front desk very helpful with advice about surrounding area and restaurants. Pretty good fitness area, especially for this price point. My only suggestion-at it is not a signficant is that it would be nice to have soy milk in the breakfast selection.

The rooms were great! We arrived early for our reservation, no suites were logged as clean in the system yet, so they personally went up and checked with housekeeping to find us rooms to get into to get ready for our afternoon wedding. I was so tired from my drive to Bend, Or. but couldn't go to sleep! I was wandering around the lobby at midnight in my pj's (lol) when the gal that works the desk saw me and told me to go back to my room and she would bring me a cup of cocoa made with real milk to help me sleep. It worked! She was so nice. I liked the hotel so much I tried to get a […] room again for the end of my stay but they were booked for that night.
