I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Rime resembled more of a community than a hotel. The rooms are more like apartments with a living room and full kitchen. A TV in both the living room and the bedroom. The rooms could use a little facelift and new carpeting. Other than that, no complaints. Also, they have an airport shuttle which is extremely convenient.

I invested in two rooms, upon walking into my room the temp was over 110, Middle of summer and the air was totally off. Turned air and went out to see family. Retruned after three hours the temp was 84. Called the front desk (they were very nice) she has some up there soon. He was very nice Charged AC unit. he explained how the units were cooled with heat pumps and it would take a while. Called the front desk and asked for new room. She gave me a key to a new room, however it was 110 degreese. Moved back to my room where the air was now 82, It took tilll 5am to get to 78 in the room. I was NOT a comfortgable night. Also the room was kinda dirty a few bugs.......Breakefast in the morning was Top notch Great guy took care of us Eggs Gritts Gravy coffee juice. Saw another bug.

The room is large. Looks like they used to be apartments. The air conditioner doesn't work very well. The main unit is in the front room and the vent that blows into the bedroom doesn't let out much air so the room was stuffy.

Let me tell you, this would be a great inn if it was a single story. We arrived to a nice greeting in a fairly nice reception area. The property was gated, and it was soon obvious that it had previously been an apartment complex. It still is apartments in some of the locations. There are multiple buildings some of which are used for nightly guests, and others for long term residents. I'm not sure if the nightly guests stay in the same buildings as the long terms, but that didn't seem to matter. The buildings were all 3 story with the ground level being on floor 2. You walked down stairs to the first level, and up to the third. We were assigned a room on the second level, which started out fine, no stairs to climb or descend. The rooms are very spacious, a large living area with a kitchenette, large closets, a large seperate bedroom with a balcony, and bathroom. Relatively clean. We settled in for the night, and then were awakened to the sound of the fire alarm going off, again and again and again. 12 times total. The next morning they told us that some kids had pulled the alarm, and no one knew how to reset it. When the alarm was finally silenced for good, we once again settled in to get some sleep. My wife had to leave at 5AM, and I had a flight to catch later. We were both in need of some rest. We had been asleep for about an hour when the room above us had some people show up. The next 2 hours were awful. Just lightly walking across the floor sent the worst creaking sounds into our room. Very loud squeeks and creaking floor noises. Shoes being taken off and dropped on the floor sounded louder than if it had been right beside us. It sounded like they were quickly into bed, but they were constantly getting up and going to the bathroom, kitchen and living area. It was unbearable, and impossible to sleep. Then the lovin' started. The bed itself wasn't making noises, but the floor sounded like it would give way with each thrust. Once they finished, I guess they relaxe

Disappointing. Probably would not stay there again. For the money, it's not terrible but not great - it has probably seen better days. The location is good. The concept and the layout is nice - it seems like an apartment complex or condos that have been converted to motel suites. The room was overall clean but had a dingy feeling. The lighting was poor, the air conditioning worked ok but not great, the kitchen area was clean but very outdated and old appliances. The upholstery on the chairs was stained and looked like it should have been replaced several years ago. If they would update, I think it would be a nice place.

Our experience at this hotel was poor from start to finish. Upon entering our room we could smell the mildew ofthe carpet. The air conditioner was off so the room was hot and muggy. Also their were dirty towels in the bathroom floor. They had no ammenities(ie soap, shampoo, lotion ect) and we had to go to the front desk to get towels and washcloths which werent always available. We did not get housekeeping services until the 2nd day after we requested the room to be freshened up. was very unsatisfied with the hotel and service overall.

This place is not for everyone, that being said, I had a nice one bedroom apt/suite. For the money it was fine. Its like being an a apt complex. The staff was nice and helpful. if you are the least bit faint of heart this place is not for you. I travel weekly and have seen it all. The food for breakfast t was good and hot. The price was great for what i received.

The room was 51 degrees and the heater was blowing no warm air. So, prior to bed I returned to the front desk to retrieve more blankets. The lady said she could get in trouble for handing these out. They were thin bed spreads. So we went to bed with the bedspreads and our jackets. We asked for a wake-up call, but the phone in the room was dead. Breakfast was 30 minutes late by the time we had to catch the shuttle, may have been later but we could wait no longer. This should not have been rated as three stars by Hotels.com

Arrived Tuesday afternoon and had to go to four rooms before I found a clean room. When I returned Wednesday evening, the room had not been touched. Maintenance man brought me towels, with an "sorry about that" from the desk. Thursday, no service..holiday. Friday, the beds were made, clean towels. No other cleaning. Sat I checked out. Very disappointed with this hotel.

Enjoyed my stay, good room and very restful.

Room smelled like mildew - they just sprayed lysol and said it was fine.Hot water heater did not work had to reset circiut breaker and wait 20 minutes for to shower.The floor above us creaked everytime the ocupants moved sounded like a huanted house in a bad movie.On the weekend they rented the room next to us to a bunch of teenagers that had a party with slamming doors and loud music.This room was empty during the week but they said they could not move us.This place just about ruined our entire vacation,very bad experience - stay away,stay very far away !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The room had a smell that came from the carpet. The smell was VERY powerful. I would not want anyone else to have to experience this type of room.

I stayed in a suite for 4 nights. The living area furniture was uncomfortable and the 1 chair was stained and dirty (wouldn't sit on it). The suite was supposed to have wifi, but had to go to the lobby instead. The bedroom was very large, but the bed was uncomfortable. The sliding doors leading to the balcony didn't have a screen door, so you couldn't keep the door open. We had paper plates, utensils and 2 packages of coffee in the kitchen upon check in. We only used the coffee and when we asked for additional packages, we never received them. The lobby staff was friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was very good.

I enjoyed my stay, the room was great and it made the weekend very enjoyable.

After reading previous reviews, be sure to request a room on the top floor because the walls and floors are pretty thin. If you plan on cooking, bring your own cookware.

outstanding place away from home.

The layout of the room was great. There's a door that closes between the large bedroom-bathroom, and the living room. 2 TV's,and a full kitchen. The bedroom and living room are large, bathroom is average for a hotel, but with an extra sink out side the door. I was traveling with my mother, and it was great to be able to close the door, watch TV, and have coffee in the morning without disturbing her. It was more like staying in a timeshare than a regular hotel. There is also a lounge and restaurant in the registration building. However, the place is old, and does need upgrading. All the cabinets are dark,the furniture is frayed, and everything is low quality, ugly 70's decor. So if you're picky about the looks of a room, this is not the place for you. Overall, I would stay here again. It only costs a few dollars more that other hotels in the area, and the large space was great. This place could be really amazing with a lot of updating, but the they could easily double the price.

From the moment you walk into the lobby you feel welcomed. Rooms are very nicely kept. Decor is pretty and surroundings are quiet.

Our stay at this hotel was horrible. There was ants in our bathroom and the shower curtain was nasty. The floor had been patched up and the light didn't work in the bathroom. I've stayed here in the past but this time my stay was not enjoyed at all and this will be the last stay at Rime Garden Inn & Suites.

Our stay was ok. The price was good. There were several issues with the room: the coffee maker had moldy coffee in the filter(when we called down to get another coffee maker we were told they didn't have another), The closet doors did not work so it was hard to hang clothes or get to the ironing board. The hot water heater was small so we ran out of hot water halfway through showers. The room was very big, an actual apartment, but really could use some updating. They gave you a microwave, a dishwasher(that was disconnected, a stove and refridge but only 2 paper plates! Nothing to heat water in the microwave or cook with. And be sure to request an upper floor as the floors are not cement. We had a single person above us but it was like an elephant walking all night and kept us awake. The full breakfast was ok, but the bisquits were hard and the gravy didn't come out till we were finished eating. They didn't have any bacon or sausage, just ham, eggs, grits amd dry biscuits (missing gravy). The had cereal out but you had to wait...amd wait ...and wait for milk. It could be suck a great place if they would just put a little more effort into the property.

Our stay was just wonderful and we would recommend it to others. The rooms were beautiful, roomy, clean, and the staff checked on us to see if we needed anything. Everything was great. We didn't want to leave. It was like home away from home.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and each time the room has been extremely clean and everything has worked perfectly. No bugs and perfectly clean inside and out each time. The reason, I think, it doesn't feel 'right' is because no updating has been done. So for instance there was a mirror on the side in the bathroom that pulled out and it worked perfectly, but there was rust on the metal part. So I have never seen anything untoward (the staff I see is very pleasant) and have enjoyed each of my stays (you will too); just have come to the conclusion that the 'feel' is due entirely to the bathroom furnishings(I don't use the kitchen and the other room's furnishings such as bed and couch are clean and in excellent working order) having not been updated for quite some time. Definitely recommend at mid price range.

It needs some work done in the bathroom and the carpet needs to be replaced. It just didn't "feel" clean.

My wife and I were extremely disappointed with our stay there. When we walked in, the receptionist told us to hold on for a minute, and then left us there for 5 minutes, while she finished counting down the drawer, then went to the back. That was after we couldn't find the hotel. It is not that easy to get locate. The directions on google were horrible. One point of frustration for us was the drive through gate to the rooms. It was completely unnecessary and could have been easily drove around. Not really much security there. And when you left, you have to drive around to another gate (which we weren't told about at the front desk). Our room was on the 2nd floor. There was no elevator and the stairs were rather narrow as was the breezeway to the stairs. It wasn't a fun climb with 2 suitcases. Once we entered our room, we noticed it was a throwback to the 70's. It was large, but that was probably the best thing about it. There was a full kitchen, but absolutely no utensils, pots, pan, or kitchenware at all. There was a full frig, which would have been nice had we had a need for it. Moving on...the bed was uncomfortable and the room was not well lit. Oh, and the kicker...there was only about 4 minutes of hot water for my wife and I in the morning. Add to that, the thermostat was off when we came into the room (which was freezing), and once we turned it on, it could not be adjusted. So I had to sleep in a room at 74 degrees, which is far too warm for me. One thing I did enjoy was the breakfast in the morning. It was a full buffet spread with eggs, sausage, biscuits, and gravy. Despite the biscuits being too hard, the breakfast was excellent. By the way, if you do choose to go, make sure you tip the guy who brings you your orange juice. He was by far the hardest worker at this hotel (possibly the only person who actually worked). My wife, on the other hand, didn't enjoy the breakfast, because by the time she got there, there was nothing left and they had to cook

The heyday of the property has passed, but the sit down buffet breakfast and the friendliness of the staff were excellent. For the price, this is a real bargain.

Hotel is in a bad area but the people that work there do not care. I ask for my kitchen to be mop and trash taken out, I had clean the bathroom. we left for the day, i mean all day trash was still there nd trash had not been removed. it does no good to call the front desk they do not responed to your complaint or request. And room service, order food before you get to the hotel if you decdice to stay. better empployees and customer service would help greatly.

Bathroom needs new faucets.

So easy to find, very clean and well maintained. Make sure you ask for sheet set and towels because since this is for long stays, they are not already in the room. Definitely recommend!!!

The room was nice and very spacious I didn't expect a full kitchen,or a balcony. The down side is that the decor could be updated.

Room was a converted apartment complex, hadn't seen updating in 20-30 years. Needs huge improvements. Room had an awful odor, difficult to sleep with that smell.

great for the money not expense at all but the service and upkeep is not great. We i call for towels never received them clocks not working, phone has no numbers on it. Great piece of property just needs better mangement.

The hotel is in need of serious renovation. The area is remote to try and get a meal within walking distance. Breakfast was good though and the only positive about this place

While the hotel seemed not to be in the best of areas and perhaps undergoing improvements, it had wonderful security and extremely competent and kind employees, especially those working in security. Since we didn't know the area we felt it was a good choice and value. The shuttle service was excellent and breakfast a definite plus.

The rooms were very comfortable and roomy. They just need to be updated with new carpet and furniture. Also needs new Air Conditioners.

room was extremely dirty, carpet left brown stains on our socks that still haven't come out. remotes were for different tv makes that were not in the room. lights didn't work nor did garbage disposal in the kitchen which wouldn't be bad except previous guest had obviously put a bunch of food in the drain and it was rotting. I will say the desk was very helpful and got me a different room very close so moving our things wasn't a major chore. The second room was a little better but not much.

If the cleaning staff would convey the problems that did exist to the maintenance department, I would have no complaints at all. I think their focus may be more on the long term residents and not the "hotel" side. It was a very unique place with the bbq pits and picnic tables though. It served my purposes well. Needs wireless internet.

Iwas very impressed with this Inn. The property was laid out like apartments with several buildings. I had a living room, kitchen with stove and refrigerator, bedroom with two beds, full bath, and balcony. There was a televison in the living room and bedroom. It was very quiet and peaceful. A full buffet breakfast was served in the main office building. We had gravy, biscuits, city ham, eggs, cereal, milk, orange juice, and coffee. There was even a server coming around bringing beverages and taking up plates. I highly recommend the Grimes Inn. It was well worth the price.
