We arrived at the hotel only to be told that they would like to upgrade us to a king bed + spa room. Bellhop arrived 20 min later w champagne! Wow. Totally unexpected. Thanks

Well I guess you can't blame them for the so called river view! More like a creek! Rooms could use a pick me up. Need updating. The staff were very pleasant and friendly. A lot of choices for a hot hearty breakfast. Close to restaurants and shopping.

The staff is very attentive and excellent, over all the rooms are very comfortable but I would really like to see more seating available, I realize you must have room for the bed to drop from the wall, but I really would have like to see more than 1 chair in the room.

The staff was very nice and our stay was pleasant. Just the sound of running water outside the balcony which was wonderful....the room had shoddy carpeting, but then it was pet friendly and has probably taken a lot of abuse. We had a great stay in a fireplace suite with a nice river view from the back porch. Multiple evenings out on the porch, watching the river and listening to the fire. The room was big enough for our 5 month old to sleep without cluttering up the place. You'll be driving everywhere, but the pool, breakfast, and room were a great value.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Riverhouse for two nights and it was very enjoyable. We liked the location because we were close to downtown but also had a nice trail nearby. We also loved the hot tub and the staff was very nice. We'd stay there again!

Pretty good but there were a few issues. Hotel and room were ok - a little "outdated" our room waqs comfy except for the huge couch, which would have been awesome, except it was nast... As in stains on cushions and dried snot stuck to the back, gag!!

This hotel was a nice place years ago, this time the only thing nice was the restaurant. The first room I was in, the tv did not work, and the shower didn't work if you wanted hot water, they moved me to a new room and still no tv. Have stayed in several different hotels in Bend and this time wanted to stay in a hotel on the Deschutes River. I would only stay in this hotel if I have a river room, otherwise there are other hotels of similiar quality. Our biggest complaint was how uncomfortable the beds were - not the most comfortable night sleep. If you really like a hard firm […] bed, this might be a choice for you, but we would prefer to enjoy our stay in Bend without being tired from lack of sleep due to a hard bed. The stay was very good. Check in customer service was great. Continental Breakfast was Great!!! We did, however, leave an item in the room and had great difficulty in contacting the hotel directly - numerous phone calls with no answer. We finally were able to contact a person who said the item was located and they would hold for family member to pick […] up at desk. Member contacted hotel, however, they could not find the item and suggested we possibly stayed at the Shilo. We had Q room with Murphy bed, with fireplace, river view. The river is beautiful, and it was fun crossing the littled covered bridge every morning to go over for breakfast. Breakfast - probably one of the best hotel free breakfasts I've had in the U.S. Scrambled eggs with cheese & salsa, sausages, potatoes sauteed with onions and peppers, waffles or […] french toast, granola and yogurt, cream of wheat or oatmeal, fabulous fresh fruit (pineapple, oranges, grapefruit - all cut and peeled), juices and coffee. I didn't like their coffee, but I never like ANY hotel coffee. Beds comfortable, shower was excellent. Hall and stair carpets were worn, but it's a pet-friendly hotel so I wouldn't expect luxury there. All in all, a very nice place. Read more

This is my third stay in this hotel. This time I discovered a small nature park up the hill behind the hotel. Great place to take the dogs for an early morning walk before the buffet breakfast and coffee. Great location!

Without a doubt, the most comfortable hotel bed with the softest pillows I've ever stayed at. The indoor pool was nice and very clean. This is a huge facility, right on the river. The price we got was very competitive and the room ample w/ a bedroom and a sitting room and balcony, kitchenette. All decor says 1970s (with a possible re-do in the 1990s). Breakfast buffet is included, but everything is premade, and except for the fruit did not do it for me.
