Although we were only there for one night, this hotel made a great impact. The furnishings are very beautiful, the ambiance is sweet, artsy and historic, and the staff of the hotel and the bar are very welcoming. Great location in the heart of Dallas.

We stayed for 9 days and could not have been more pleased. Our room was beautiful and comfortable, large closet with well placed safe, and a stylish bathroom. The breakfasts were excellent with a wide choice and polite service. Also the valet car service was prompt and friendly. The bar was tended by knowledgeable staff and remained lively all evening. We loved the decor in the common rooms - very stylish and classy. We can't wait for our next visit and the pool to be finished.

The Stoneleigh worked great for our multi-generational group staying there for the most party. One of the senior citizens declared she needed a seeing eye dog to get around her room as the lamp were inadequate.

Location was key, being in the uptown area. Hotel decour was nice and full of character. Beds were really comfortable, and the restaurant/bar in the lobby was fantastic. Only negative ia that you have to pay $25 for overnight valet parking.

Loved staying at the Stoneleigh. I would have loved it more if there had been someone to help me with luggage, a doorman and a heater while waiting on valet to get my car. The guests froze while the attendants had a heater. Noticed McDonald's trash left on table in lobby. Bar and bartenders great.

Our suite was very nice and roomy enough to visit with family while we were in town. The Hotel staff was very friendly, helpful and quick to address a few small maintenance issues in our suite. Kudos to the Valet parking staff! They were very professional and always presented a great attitude. Bartenders were friendly too. The biggest disappointment was the spa- or lack thereof. The hotel website advertises an in hotel spa, a major factor for us when selecting a hotel. After dropping our luggage in the suite, my husband and I decided to explore the hotel. Signs directed us to the spa, we took the elevator and arrived at a service area. Maybe we misread the sign? Back on the elevator and up to the first floor to read the sign again. Nope, we were right the first time. We found an employee who told us the spa had been removed from the hotel some time ago. She then proceeded to suggest we go to the spa at the "W" which is very nice. Part of our holiday getaway was meant to be spent relaxing and indulging in spa treatments in our hotel. We're very disheartened the Stoneleigh misrepresented itself. Sure, we could have driven to any of the area spas just like when we're at home, but we wanted a different experience- convenience and ease. Note to the Stoneleigh: update your website to correctly convey your amenities and your guests won't be disappointed!

This historic hotel is a gem. We stayed here for an impromptu overnight date as a retreat from our home with two, well-loved, rambunctious toddlers. ;) The service was spot on from the valet to the comfort of our 500 sf junior suite. There were some housekeeping items we noted, such as smudges on the wood furniture and glass rings where guests failed to utilize coasters. Thankfully this did not diminish our stay as my wife is especially selective. The room was very spacious and nicely met our needs, with the exception of lacking a mini fridge and free wireless. The closet was quite large, a sleeper sofa was a great spot to relax and the large, swivel mounted tv meant we could watch a movie from either the sofa or the very comfortable bed. The bathroom also was generous with a deep soak tub. While the Le Meridien is housed in a 1920s building, the renovations are perfectly suited, marrying old world charm with modern elegance. It actually evoked feelings of wanderlust and felt like we were back in Europe, if only for a night. The surrounding area boasts lots of restaurants and eateries, including a convenience store within a few minutes walk. We opted for room service, lettuce wedge, salmon, mushrooms, key lime pie and creme brûlée were very good and the portions were generous. Parking was $25 with in and out privileges and it was very convenient to simply text the valet when we needed our vehicle. Highly recommend and would definitely return.

Stay was good. Forgot clothes at the hotel, called to let them know right away. They found it but when I came back to pick it up theyade me wait a good 30 min and hotel was not busy at all. I thought it should of been faster since I called twice to make sure they found it and would have it ready when I stop by!

The area was nice. There was no notice on the large construction going on at the hotel daily. I noticed that this was on the regular hotel website everyday from 8-5. We had a problem with our TV which initially the hotel wasn't helpful with until I complained a second time. No top sheet on the bed? Kind of strange and only 1 bar of soap for the bathroom which was annoying because you had to transfer a soapy bar from the sink to the shower.

Beds are awesome beyond comfy. The rooms have automatic thermostats that are set to 70 if they don't sense motion. The room was hot at night even set at 65. The elevators are terrible and there is construction on a new pool for the spring so it's loud. The bar is good with reasonable priced beveragees. Parking is 25 a day and there's no public parking anywhere.

Valet staff was disorganized and somewhat rude when we arrived. Front desk staff was more courteous, though forgot to make a dinner reservation for us. Room lacked luggage racks and had only minimal drawer space. Windows were nailed shut - which was unfortunate on a beautiful 70 degree day. Breakfast was good.

We went to Dallas for a wedding taking place at The Ritz Carolton but the wedding rate was 350.00 a night. We wanted to save money to have nice dinners etc. While we were there so we booked at the Meredian Stoneleigh. The rooms were huge, clean, and it a great location. Just remember there is a parking rate daily at all these Hotels. But it was a fabulous place. I am a very seasoned traveler and this was one of the best!

Very nice hotel, within walking distance of all upscale restaurants I would highly recommend this hotel over others in the same price bracket. Breakfast is equally as good. I did experience however "a fire alarm going off at 6 AM" which wasn't too appealing after finding out it was a glitch in the electronics panel. Besides that it was a good experiencein the late staff and personnel are very pleasant.

The Meridien Stoneleigh has some service glitches that negatively impacted our stay. There is no choice but to valet park your vehicle, but they were not staffed adequately to handle all the work. At prime time for departures, they only had two valets retrieving cars, so it took almost 30 minutes for our car to arrive. Likewise, at the bar in the lobby they have a light (bagel and coffee) breakfast, but they only had one person working, with a line of people half way across the lobby. For some reason the lights in our room flickered, which is extremely annoying even for those who are not susceptible to seizures. I tried switching the light bulbs around, and the same bulb would work great in one fixture but flicker in a different one. While noting the issue at the front desk; I opened by saying that there appeared to be an issue with the lighting in our room. The person immediately replied, "Are they flickering?". So obviously this is a recurring problem here which has not been corrected, which is horrible performance. Now the good: the location is excellent, in a very nice neighborhood and within walking distance of quite a few restaurants - also close to downtown (perhaps not walking distance). Also the room itself was very nice: comfortable, clean, spacious (although maybe because we had a corner room), and the bed was excellent. The staff was courteous and friendly - just not plentiful enough in some key areas as noted.

The photos where false advertisement. From the photos that I reviewed and the room I picked I thought I was getting a balcony. The bathroom was different. It was way over priced and old. I will never stay there again. I am upset I paid so much money for nothing. I was dissatisfied and disappointed.

After staying at great boutique hotels around the country, it was surprising and annoying to be charged a daily fee for wifi. Valet parking too, which is still annoying but pretty standard. This kind of nickel-and-diming makes Le Meridian seem behind the times. There is complimentary daily coffee down at the bar, but only mentioned in fine print in a pamphlet in the room. Bed was fine, but pillows were strangely uncomfortable. Stingy with the in-room amenities-had one tiny bar of soap the entire time that we had to switch back and forth between sink and shower-almost humorous that housekeeping didn't just throw another one in. Interior layout of the room bizarre, uncomfortable. Overall, the Stoneleigh feels corporate and uptight.

Please know that I have shared your experience regarding your pillows and in-room amenities with our team in efforts to improve upon the level of product and services we deliver to our guests and to prevent similar occurrences from happening in the future. We do offer complimentary wireless internet access in our Hub and lobby/bar area for our guests convenience. Due to our location, our hotel only offers valet parking at a fee that is in line with all other hotels in our area and we like to think it is good value considering our location and the convenience provided. We are also able to provide a complimentary in-room coffee setup in each of our guestrooms as mentioned on collateral placed in each of our guestroom bathrooms. Nice hotel in great location. Service was good. There is apparently a longer running problem with their shower water pressure.

Never been to dallas. Wanted a super clean hotel in a good area and found it at the Stoneleigh. Great bed, crisp clean linnens, great a/c system. The place has a cool vibe and contemporary decor in a historic building. Fun lobby bar and great breakfast in the resturant. Easy walk to upscale shopping and restaurants.

Charged 25 bucks a day to Park plus 15 a day for wifi Free breakfast was instead 20 dollars off. Expensive prices. So so food. Too many hidden charges and they added a bar tab that belonged to someone else

Great location for the fairgrounds. Can walk to several first class restaurants. Their breakfast buffet was very nice. Very clean room. Spacious closet, bedroom, and bath. Highly recommend.

This is an awesome property, that has a terrific vibe and great location. Although the room service menu is a little dated and limited, overall the hotel is perfect for a business trip, small conference or even a romantic weekend get away. The staff, from the valet to housekeeping to front desk is not only friendly and service oriented, but goes out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and having a great time...
